
It would garner attention, it would bring notice to their clan if not specifically to themselves as an individual. It might alarm some of the more conservative members of the clan but Kal was prepared for the naysayers and the whispers behind their back. It was good practice for when they finally find a way to secure their role as Rani (or at the very least the real power behind the Rani.)
The thought of it brought a smile to their face. They were already planning on the deals they would broker and the favors and promises they would have to make good on. As well as determine which dealings can be reneged on because it would be so much more favorable to do things their way.
But that would be counting their cockatriels before the eggs hatched. So in the meantime, they will play nice with the locals before heading home to the Scepters. Or possibly establish a foothold for their clan here and slowly migrate the center of power from the mountains to the lowlands.
Nature abhors a vacuum and if there isn't a power vacuum here, well, Kal was prepared to create one.
