She didn't have any special reason for wanting to imbue in October other then a morbid desire to see what would happen. She wasn't normally someone who would do this, but something had clicked within her when she spotted someone walking away with a hallowed child. It wasn't particularly a mothering desire, either. It was just this sickening desire to see a what if scenario play out, and she was ashamed. Deeply, completely ashamed.
Yet, finding someone who would awaken a child in October wasn't an easy task, and eventually she realized she might need to give up. So, the month before October she signed up for a website to find an imbuing partner. Her intent wasn't to lie or trick anyone. She'd imbue and awaken the stones on the correct month of which her partner would decide. If they wanted it in November then fine, they'd do it in November. Or September. Either worked.
Maybe she was feeling a little motherly....
