Limitless Skies Episode 1: Strange Blaze
Short Summary:
Gone in an instant. All anyone could see was a bright flash of light shortly before the rumble of a explosion reached their ears. No one understood what happened at first, it seemed like a freak accident. The Guardians investigated, finding nothing but a field of ash, but no one understood what caused it. No one even knew what was lost at first, not a single survivor stepped forth.
This survivor, a woman, described a winged being something, or, someone that looked to be an angel. This angel did not bring joy, nor kindness with its wake, no, instead it brought with it an oppressive fury. With every flap of its might wings it burned away the structure that once made up a mighty city. Its every roar scorched flesh. It brought with it an army of flame and metal, no kindness offered, when most of the city laid dead, or in ashes the creature let out one final cry...and everything burned. The woman, having only escaped at the last moment due to the aid of her magic could not provide a clearer description, only adding that whatever it was....was ancient and filled with nothing but anger.
No one is quite sure what it might be, but lately strange things have been happening. Strange spots of intense heat, mighty beasts seemingly cowering away and beings connected to the Old Fire have been acting strangely. Reports of strange beings have been reported, but they leave not a trace, only leaving ash where they may have been. No one is sure what to make of it, but The Guardians are on alert.
The citizens of Valefor are told that there is nothing to worry about, though some are sure something is out of the ordinary. For now it seems as though its a number of strange occurrences, but whether it concerns you or not, one things is clear...something strange is happening and whether this proves to be benign or dangerous, only time will tell.
