 A question had been weighing on Kamryn's mind for awhile now. Children and how he desperately wanted to have more. He already had three beautiful daughters with Ada, but something tugged at him to have more. Maybe it was growing up an only child or maybe it was the goblin in him yearning for more children to love. Either way, the desire for more children with his darling had been nagging at him.
With the girls in bed, he felt like now was as good of time as any. There was the lingering fear of October, but he was more than willing to wait to awaken any children until November. That was fine, but he wanted to bring it up to her.
"Ada, can you come here for a second?"

 Adagio had been in the other room, resting on the couch after a long day of grading papers and family bonding. She was exhausted, but it was most definitely a good tired. When she heard her husband's voice, she rose from her comfy spot to join him. He looked trouble, which seemed to be a common theme when it came to him wanting to talk to her. Clearly, something was on his mind and he was worried about it. "What's up, sweetheart?"

As Ada made her way into view, Kam couldn't help the happy sigh that escaped him. "Come here, darling," he said as his expression changed into a smile. He reached out a hand and pulled her close, hugging her tightly and kissing into her hair. "I love you," he murmured into her hair.
With his face still pretty much in her hair, he decided he had to start sometime.... though the desire to just cuddle into his wife was very tempting.... "I've had something that's been bothering me..."

Ada giggled as her husband buried himself in her hair. He was such a goof, but he was stalling... Ah, there it was. It was all she could do to not start snuggling and just forget about talking for a while, but this must have been important... "What on earth could possibly be bothering you, hmm? Having trouble grading something?"

"No, actually we've been on an easy chapter..." he mumbled into her hair with a sigh. How to bring this up? Children were such a heavy topic, especially this month.
"I was wondering if maybe you would be interested in having some more kids? I know we have our three darling daughters, but I've been wanting some more. I know that I shouldn't be thinking about it this month, but it's been bothering me awhile. But midterms came up and..." he trailed off. He knew he was rambling, but he was nervous.

She hummed softly, playing with Kam's hair as she listened. More kids, huh? She'd been thinking about herself if she were completely honest. But this time of year was dangerous. What if they lost the little ones? Would the girls be okay with it too? "I'd love more kids, Kam, but... Would it be safe?"

"See, that's my worry."He didn't want to think about children dying or some of the mutations, but this was a conversation that he wanted to have with his wife. This was something to vocalize.
"But I was thinking that, since it's so late in the month, when they awaken, they should be okay, right? At least, that's what some of my co-workers seemed to tell me." He really didn't have much experience with this month. His family shied away from the whole month, so he really didn't know.

Being that she was from the Below, she had more experience than her husband when it came to the month and what it entailed for little ones. She'd lost a cousin to it. It was a rough time for her family. Still, she had faith in herself and her husband. "I think it'll be fine. We're strong, our magic works amazingly together. We'll be okay, and so will any little ones." She smiled.

He happily slumped into her a bit more, hugging her even more. With a gentle hand, he brought his face to hers and kissed her with a smile. "I love you, Ada. I know we can do this."
