Wings quietly engulfed the slump figure sitting in the empty garage as he slumped over the phone, staring at the newest message from Hexxis before she went off to work some hours ago. Fingers interlaced with each other silently as he stared without reading, his mind focused on yesterday's conversation and his own desire to go visit her before he left Belosh again.
Their conversation had been enlightening and painful ...very painful.
Fingers unlaced and slide the phone into his pocket again as he stayed under the cover of his wings trying to center himself in the mild darkness. Feeling were threatening to return and he couldn't give into them now or ever. It was much to easy to push them down and clear his mind, slow his breathing until he felt somewhat like his old self again. There was still that mild hope that Hexxis wouldn't find the merc, she hadn't but that was because she was not looking before. Two weeks... two weeks and she would return. In the mean time he will send out a few more calls and see if Ree left any indication of his presence in a few of the other cities so he wasn't jumping all over the place.
With a set plan he pulled all his wings back in a quick motioned and got up taking a breath of stale air as he put on his pack. Pale afternoon light filtered around the tarp someone and summoned his two artifacts. There was only the twins now and finally facing the reason Zaku paid off his debt ...and any memories.
Both artifacts faded as he jumped nearly across Terterra reappearing in or in the general area of the house. Pin pointing things with a skill he was so limited use with had its troubles...so far he had been lucky.

Zaku had been cleaning up around the house when he couldn't seem to find his mp3, moving to the room he had been staying in, he searched but couldn't find it. The confusion fading from his expression as it switched into slight annoyance and exhaustion. "Stormy!" he called out, a firm tone to his voice. There was a bit of silence and then the slam of a door. "..s**t.." he cursed under his breath and moved to their bedroom door and tried to open it, and despite having previously removed the locks from previous times being locked out of their room, it still wouldn't open. "Open the door right now." he demanded.
Stormy had a huge grin on her face as she finally pushed her bed up against the door and then hopped up onto her bed and started jumping up and down. "Rain rain go away, come again another day!!~" she sang aloud as she jumped up with a smile and put the earphones in an started messing with the music on the player.
"Open this door now unless you want me to give Tri a call and tell him what you've been up to."
"I can't heaaaaar youuuuu~" she called back, still bouncing and then turned up the music on the player until she couldn't hear him yelling at her anymore.

Akash looked up from where he had been watching another of the travel shows, a hint of confusion on his face as he watched Stormy push the bed up against the door then put on some headphones.
Understanding soon dawn with a grin as he heard Zaku shouting and banging on the other side of the door. He wa snot to fond of the muse even if he was supposed to be their other father. Tri was scary and Zaku was mean. Sliding off his own bed he move to join Stormy in jumping on hers "Rain Rain go away, don't come again not even another day!"
Tri silently appeared back in the living room with a faint frown and a mild sense of exhaustion. Shifting his pack he took a look around encase he disturbed anyone but the sudden shout of his name had him moving toward the corridor where he stopped and his frown deepened as he watched Zaku trying to open the bedroom door. "......"
"Why would you call me?" he asked with a hint of genuine confusion as he watched from the entrance of the corridor. Not sure if he should be trying to stop him...or help him. He was still slightly tense and on guard all the same.

Stormy's smile grew as Akash joined in jumping on the bed, she began to laugh happily, bouncing up and down and singing loudly. "Rain rain go away, Come again another day. All we want to do is play; Rain, rain, take a train, Never show your face again!!!~"
Zaku opened his mouth, about to use siren's song when he paused at Tri's voice. He looked at him with a genuine sense of surprise. "Oh.. Tri." he spoke then sighed. "I wasn't actually going to call you.. just sometimes threatening to do so gets Stormy to listen. Found out that she's pretty afraid of you, they both are. Ha.. funny, isn't it?" he offered a sort of sympathetic smile then sighed again and looked to the door. "Stormy, open the door." he called out again, but she wasn't responding anymore, only singing loudly with Akash.

Tri stared at him silently as if he couldn't not quite believe the familiarity in which Zaku was talking to him. Looking to the door her frowned faintly "It happens when she believes you stabbed her" he said quietly as he moved to the door and flared his intimidation as he phased through the door appearing phased right in the middle of the jumping on the bed.
Moving to the side of the bed he solidified and put his foot on the edge of the bed and kicked it hard, kids and all.
Akash laughed and switched his lyrics to match Stormy's which he thought was better. Bouncing he barely noticed that Zaku had stopped trying to open the door and was no talking to someone else. Not until the intimidation aura flared up and Tri appeared phased between them. He started screaming trying to grab Stormy and back up when Tri kicked the bed away from the door.
Tri stared at them silently. "Don't block the door" he said simply.

Zaku quirked an eyebrow at Tri's comment, but said nothing, watching him flare intimidation and then enter the room.
She barely had time to react as intimidation flared and at first didn't know it wasn't Akash before the figure of Tri came through the door. Akash screamed and tried to grab her but the bed was already moving, the momentum of the bed moving beneath her feet causing her to fall forward and hit the ground with a loud thud, and a yelp.
With the sound of the bed moving, Zaku opened the door and entered, coming in to look down at Stormy with a sigh, reaching down a hand to signal he wanted his mp3 player back.
Stormy rubbed her face that had hit face first into the ground as she looked up to Zaku and paused. She took a glance to Tri before removing the headphones from her ears and handing the device back to Zaku. Slowly coming to a stand, she took a few timidly scared steps back. "...yes, mr. dad..." she muttered quietly, looking at the ground.

Tri stared at her and nodded slightly as he moved back out of the room, casting a confused glance at Akash as he stepped out. Pulling his aura in he looked back inside and watch the exchange of an mp3 player between Zaku and Stormy, wondering how often she had taken that from him or if this was the first time.
"Do they have any toys?" he said looking at Zaku as he moved to be able to see the muse, completely stoic.

Akash stopped screaming once the initial surpise wore off but he stared after Tri the whole time he was in the room then moved to Stormy once he stepped out, giving Zaku a glare then staring worriedly to the door. "Are you okay?" he asked Stormy quietly, seeing her face plant and neither of the other two caring.

Zaku sighed and moved to help up Stormy but stopped, knowing that would be a bad idea by now. Looking over to Tri, he placed a hand against his own forehead. "They have plenty of toys, she just doesn't want things that are already hers however,.." he answered then frowned slightly. "She stole your wallet a while back too. Its in my room, I can get it for you later."
Stormy made a slightly whimpered noise of pain as she kept a hand over her hurt nose and looked to Akash, her nature much more timid now. "...i'm okay..." she answered quietly, her eyes moving to Tri again as she watched him warily.

"...She steals things often?" he said with only a flicker of a frown at hearing this she took his wallet, trying to remember when she could have and how. Nothing came to mind and that concerned him, a thief at least took a little more practice... unless she has been doing it for as long as she knew.
Having his wallet in Zaku's possession also worried him, there was not much in it other than a few numbers and his fake ID but that was enough. Shaking his head he looked back to the two children and said nothing just leaving the hallway and returning to the living room . He paused, catching movement from further down the hall and nodded as Wizard peer other the threshold of the furthest door and nodded back before turning.
Glancing at the point in the floor where Stormy had laid after being stabbed, there was now a burn mark in the wood.

Akash nodded quietly and turned to follow her gaze before glaring fearfully at Tri, up tot he point he just left. Rushing forward he tried to close the door after them, feathers puffed up in fear.

Zaku was moving after Tri, but paused to look back into the room just before Akash closed the door. He sighed and shook his head, letting it be for now, then continuing after Tri again. "Yeah, she steals things from others that are valuable to them. It's fairly often. I don't know where she learned it, but it appears that DH was aware of it as she steals from Wizard the most." he explained, slipping his mp3 player into his pocket and then moving his hands behind his head as he walked nonchalantly. Stopping by his own room, he removed the wallet from the nightstand and moved to Tri and held it out to him. He followed Tri's gaze to the floor and frowned.
Stormy watched Akash, still apprehensive to move until the door was closed, and exhaled heavily and fell to her knees in relief. "...why is he back?" she asked with a frown. She looked worried, defeated, and even still a little scared.

Tri frowned looking away from the spot and up at Zaku the moment he move into the room. Staring at the wallet he out to him he narrowed his and took it, quickly pocketing it without checking.
"He hasn't done anything to stop her?" staring intently at Zaku, searching.. waiting to see any hint of remembrance, doubt or smug satisfaction. He wasn't even that interested in the answer, instead looking for anything he could easily grasp to make him regret bringing him. Or that could be the problem...
Pulling back he didn't start that intently but waited all the same.

Akash moved back to Stormy worried seeing her so relieved and defeated. It made him worry more as he took a glance back at the door. "I don't know... I thought he left forever.." he muttered, never believing Zaku's threat but there he was..back again.

Zaku sighed and frowned at the question Tri proposed, "As far as I've seen, no. He just goes by her room and collects the things she stole before going to work in his workshop. DH told her to stop, but she only steals from either Wizard or myself and never DH." he answered, placing a hand to his forehead in thought, still unable to figure out why she'd want to keep doing it at all. "She's surprisingly good at it, never caught her in the act, just know it's her when it goes missing. Tried redirecting that fixation to absolutely no avail." he sighed again and looked to Tri. "You here to stay or you just stopping by to check on things?" he asked curiously, never really sure how long Tri ever intends to stay when he shows up out of the blue. The muse looked completely relaxed talking to Tri, as though talking to a friend or someone he knew very personally, keeping calm just as always.

Stormy frowned more. "Why won't he go away... I hate him. I hate them both." she muttered then sighed. She was beginning to feel trapped being locked in the house all the time. She moved over and kicked over the chair to the desk. "This sucks." she hissed as she moved over and plopped onto the bed face down before giving a soft whimper and rolling over to put her hand on her hurt nose, having forgotten that it was still in pain.

"And myself "he added with a mutter as he finally looked away from the muse, disturbed by the complete comfort the other meta had around him. It shouldn't be this way, they should both be on tip-toes around each other instead of one side basically reacting to him as if he was someone he trusted for years. Trusted.... was Zaku unconsciously comparing him to a ...lover? Not Raziel, he didn't look anything like the Killer in the leas, so someone else. Someone, going from how he reacted before, he loved very very much. That could be useful.....if he was even in any position to try and gather secrets instead of just ..trying to keep some kind of balance.
There was a flicker of jealousy as he pulled off the pack, showing absolutely nothing as he placed it on a beat up old chair nearby and looked up.
"Staying ...." he responded shaking his wings lightly before folding them back in. "Depending on your answer. " he continues as the glow in his eyes dimmed and he stared back a tree him with a dead-like stare. "Why did you pay off my debt? "

Akash winced in sympathy but stayed where he was glancing toward the door but only hearing the mutter of voices down the hall. "Me too.." he muttered with a glare at the door.

"Mm." he made a noise of acknowledgement. He didn't seem to be paying much attention to Tri's very analyzing nature, appearing to be in deep thought himself.
He watched him pull off the pack, finally looking to see some kind of anger in his face. Jealousy? No, couldn't be. He shook the thought and smiled as he confirmed he was staying, something of a strange sense of relief filling him. Though, his smile faded into confusion when he added that it depended on his answer. Answer to what?
Why did you pay off my debt?
Zaku's expression turned to a more serious one as he folded his arms. "Because you deserve you're own freedom to do as you please. You shouldn't have been punished for saving your own daughter. So I wanted to give that chance. To choose what to do from here. You can go to her, since you spent so much effort getting her back.. Or stay here with the twins... with me." he frowned slightly the sighed. "Or you can go look for Ree, or do whatever it is that you want to do." he kept focus on Tri, a somber glint in his eyes but shook the thoughts in his mind again before rubbing the back of his head and chuckling nervously. "ahh.. pretty much, it felt wrong having you serve a debt to someone for something I probably should have been doing. So I paid it... just consider it a thanks.. or child support. I don't know." he tried not to frown but it was obvious he was holding back on it, trying to seem optimistic.

Two more weeks...// he thought quietly in his mind as he watched Zaku, catching the slight infliction on the words "with me" and the somber look but not understanding what he was trying to say with that.
Zaku should be happy he was not here..they all should have been. Going from the twin's reaction they at least were content he wasn't. So why was Zaku so interested in his freedo-.... of course. He had forgotten who Zaku was...out of everyone he might take what he saw in the wrong context...truth be told it wasn't exactly wrong though.
".... " he frowned at Zaku, not answering immediately, deserve your own freedom...and do what?. Letting out a sigh he shifted his weight and crossed his arms, staring at him warily. Zaku was nervous and he was not understanding it at all.
"Are you trying to get me to see you in a better light? " he accused suddenly as she narrowed his eyes a bit. Truth be told he was surprised after being told the amount Zaku had paid without even knowing. He paid his own bounty, then half more just ...on a whim? "Because your words sound pretty but people don't just drop 1 million dollars on someone else just because they can.Especially when those people are wanted. " he ruffled his wings.
" That was many times my debt amount... so why? Do you want me to owe you since Li likely wouldn't have sold my debt to you. Hope I would be grateful enough to tell or do something for you? Why don't you tell me the truth this time?" he said with a flicker of anger and frustration in his voice. Giving him freedom but also sounding as if he wanted him here ...no it was a trap.
