User ImageAleis hated these sorts of letters with a passion, they weren’t even sure they wanted to even go to a university. In all truth they kind of wanted to stay at the academy. The academy had been their life for so many years. They knew all the best spots to hang out. They had befriended all the stay vespercats. Here meant Aleis didn’t have to venture out into the real world to grow up. It was unfair.

However staying here meant stagnating. Showing they hadn’t grown up. They were still a childish hybrid that didn’t understand why their dad had to go on the run, that they weren’t ever going to see him again, or at least not for a very long time. Aleis tapped the pencil on the paper again. Yeah wanting to stay was childish. They wanted to show their dad and everyone else they could be something. Aleis was good at getting into trouble and stealing but they wanted to show the world they were good at other things to. Aleis liked being able to read people. They liked knowing what they were thinking. They also liked Criminal law, mostly because it was a way to figure out what not to do to make sure they weren’t caught but still Aleis had been toying with possibly turning good.

There was only one place where they could further their interest in those studies, one place where they could find out if they wanted to make a career out of those things. Basically Aleis wanted to go to Asterion and while it would be leaving the academy they loved. Aleis was also looking forward to moving on with their life.
