Roll - 65 Location - Jauhar Beast - Perzi Word Count - 515
After an evening of dancing Kalli was ready to go back home. She felt exhausted and wanted nothing more than to lay in her comfy bed. The curvy dancer looked don at her feet and saw her Keldari slithering along beside her. While she was still afraid of snakes she had gotten more used to her familiar being there with her. Lissa would flick her tongue out occasionally, which Kalliope now knew meant she was smelling the air, but otherwise she just continued to keep pace with her owner.
The Oban lifted her gaze back to looking forward and took a deep breath as she let her muscles relax. There was no need for them to do anything other than walk. Then Lissa hurried to get in front of her and raised up slightly. Kalli stopped what she was doing and stared at her poisonous companion before she noticed that there was a perzi in front of them. "Oh! What..?" She was cut off when her snake hissed and seemed to show an aggressive stance. Was the perzi a threat and she just didn't know? Blinking a few times she moved her red gaze from the perzi to her keldari then back. During all of this she did notice one detail about the other beast. It's colors. She'd not seen them before on an Oban beast. Or any beast for that matter. They almost gave her the creeps!
When the perzi took a few steps forward and growled at her Kalli took a step back. Lissa, on the other hand, didn't move at all. Instead she straightened up more and gave a firm hiss as she bared her fangs. "Lissa?" While the dancer might not have the best relationship with her animal familiar she did come to trust it's instincts. So the question was one more directed to the danger before them. Was it something she should run away from? Since her snake was not willing to back down Kalli became very worried, scared even. So she waved her hands in the air at the perzi in an attempt to make it run away. "Go! Shoo!" Since she had no weapon and she wasn't very tall she had no other way to be intimidating. And she was not about to start dancing to tame this critter, not like she had with Lissa. Kalliope had learned her lesson there.
Her keldari took her prompting to get the perzi to go away as a sign that she could strike. So Lissa started to excrete some poison from her fangs as she moved forward and lunged at the air. She needed to coil her tail after ward in order to remain upright and appear larger than she was. This was more than enough to make the perzi rethink attacking Kalli and her beast friend. It backed away slowly before finally turning and running from them. The red haired dancer moved forward slowly, questioning whether or not she should bother Lissa, but when her snake lowered back down and turned toward her she saw that all aggression was gone.
