The sun was sinking and taking away her light as she worked in the greenhouse. Fallon should have turned in some time ago since she still had evening prayers to do before she could go to sleep. She would just need to make sure to ask for forgiveness about being late when she did them. It was just that she wanted to get all the herbs hung up to dry out before she left for the night. So she worked as quickly as she dared since she didn't want to make a mistake.
A noise made her pause. Was someone in the greenhouse with her? Fallon turned her head to look around but the place was empty. "Strange.. I thought I heard someone." Her glowing eyes looked left then right before she finally shook her head and turned back to what she was doing. A moment later and she was putting the last of the herbs up to hang. Fallon grinned at her work and looked at the sky through the glass above. It was definitely too dark for her to do anything else. So she would need to clean up first thing in the morning. The young priestess was about to turn to leave when she heard that strange noise again.
Only this time when she turned around to look she felt a tingle in her spine. Why did it feel like she was not alone? Out of the darkness came some type of odd creature and it flew right at her. Fallon stood still like a child caught with their hand in the cookie jar. Not that it lasted. Once the insect landed on her, clinging to her dress and using it's feelers to smell her, she started to panic. Color drained from her face and she let out a shriek. Her hands waved in the air for three seconds then she slapped the thing away. "Ahh!! Get it off! Get it off!!" Was this punishment for being late to evening prayers!?
"Dafiel save me!" She cried out as the maglardilla came at her yet again. Fallon felt the fear in her form a lump in her throat and she turned tail to run from the flying thing. "Help me!!" Her yell came out in a high pitched squeal as she did her best to run without tripping. That alone took a lot of focus since she was not so good at avoiding those air stones that took out many a clumsy person. Frightened tears had started to gather in her eyes as she left the greenhouse in a flurry of hair and skirts! One hand flew to her beads that hung at her waist and she started to say a prayer to the god and goddess. With the maglardilla hot on her heels she couldn't help but to squeal in fright yet again before she managed to duck into the living quarters of the priests to escape it.
Fallon collapsed against the wall in a heap of hysterics as she did her best to catch her breath and not let her heart explode within her chest. To say that she was fully afraid and traumatized by whatever had come at her was very much an understatement.
