Hobbies: reading: It's to the point that you never see Aaron without a book in hand. Whether its a history book for his class or a horror book for personal pleasure, this man is very interested in anything with pages and actively searches for new books to read. He mostly likes to learn new things, so the books he usually reads are research books. Fantasy and adventure based books annoy him sometimes-- They're just pretend, nothing that would actually help him in real life. He tends to lean toward things that will help him in the future.
weight-training: Aaron has made it his hobby to gain some muscle. He goes frequently-- at least four times a week-- to train his stamina and gain some body strength. Having heard that Destiny City isn't exactly the safest of places, he's striving to learn how to punch and/or kick some major butt. He lifts and does stamina training, and goes to a few martial arts classes in his gym. He finds exercise one of the only ways he can focus on something else than his personal life goals, and feels liberated during each of his training sessions.
Virtues: does what's "right": Aaron doesn't really care if things are morally right or wrong. His personal feelings have nothing to do with his life threatening decisions, and while and if he's able to gain from it, even better. If it needs to be done, he will do be the first one to volunteer and win it it. If its something others hesitate to do, Aaron will. He doesn't mind not following the crowd, pushing himself to wide distances to do what he knows is "right," in his mind.
self-sufficient: Aaron is very independent. He doesn't enjoy relying on others in any sort of activity, feeling like doing so is a weakness or a show of desiring some sort of attention from another. His mind is focused generally on his duties and his profession, following the rules to a T unless he can somehow benefit from changing them... and bends them to how he'd like them. This is not often, however, as he enjoys having a shiny title to his name and takes pride in what he does when working toward something, as he knows he does it well. He pushes to finish any given task alone, and would prefer not to work with others, as he feels uncomfortable with new people in his environment. Having people around is a distraction, after all.
focused: Should Aaron say he will do something, he will do it. You can count on that. He is the type of person who detests people who get easily distracted, and when he begins something, he works on said thing from start to end. He's someone who sees something through until the very end, and hates leaving things half done. He makes it a habit to focus on his duty, and doesn't let petty things such as emotions or other people get in his way. He pushes all his attention on the specific project/idea, and searches for things to make it better/get it done more efficiently/etc.
Flaws: selfish: Aaron first and foremost thinks of himself and his wellbeing, not very concerned over others that have nothing to do with him. He learned the hard way that it's best to look out for yourself than another, and is a firm believer in the phrase "You never really stop meeting someone." He is wary of everyone, and is paranoid of the friendly, believing they're the most likely to stab your back from how unassuming one would think they'd be. He tends to lack consideration for others, and believes that his personal gain and/or health is worth more than the well-being of another.
jealous: If you're going to be close to Aaron, you'd better commit. Once you become more than an acquaintance, which is something hard in itself considering how guarded Aaron is, he will watch out for you personally. If he sees you spending more time with a person other than him, get ready for an even angrier, easily pissed off Aaron. When it comes to someone having better things than he does, Aaron will also get jealous, feeling like he deserves it more than they do because he is better and stronger. He is petty and easily irritated. He tries to reel this in with his students, however.
guarded: In the past, Aaron made mistakes by trying to help and be there for others, but after a while of abusers and one huge ******** up that ended someone he cared for dead, he now shuns that part of his persona and focuses solely on himself, so as to not involve anyone else in his life-- He believes that others get hurt because of him and his ways, so the easiest thing to do is simply to keep them away. It's hard for him to trust others. He goes out of his way to keep people at bay, and is always on the defensive. Any accusation will be defended or pushed away somehow. Any desire to approach or spend more time with him, good or bad, will be ignored or simply get on his nerves.
PHYSICAL DESCRIPTION
Eyes: Narrowed crimson eyes that constantly look serious.
Hair: Completely straight long black hair with bangs-- one large and long strand reaching in between his eyes. His hair reaches his upper back.
Face: Narrow face shape with a set and firm jaw.
Clothes: He usually wears formal and proper clothes, and always, ALWAYS WEARS his gloves. Not only does he not like touching dirt, he dislikes looking at his hands in general.
