A shower of leaves had begun covering the forest floor already, even though it seemed as if the season had just begun. The cool air felt crisp and the lack of humidity allowed scents to travel farther than they did just a few weeks before. Giggles sealed her lips and eyelids and breathed deep to take in everything around her, her lips parting once more as her customary grin breached the white and brown fur on her face. Something familiar was in the air today, it seemed.
Paying the scent no mind, the feline gracefully made her way through the trees, her large paws making less of a crunch in the leaves than her horse counterpart's. After some time, she stopped to smell the air again. Not much had changed, but her tufted ears picked something up. With her grin never waning, Giggles took off deftly toward the sound, her jaws soon closing around their prize. A small churr of excitement filled the air as she dug into the rabbit, disregarding everything else around her for a few moments.

The cat was motionless, orange eyes peering out from the darkness. He was amidst the leaves that were already losing their color and drifting to the ground, hidden in the deepening shadows of early evening. The sun had not quite set, but was sinking lower by the moment. The skinwalker was dully aware of a familiar scent, but paid it no mind. There was nearly no sound breaking his solitude - until the tell-tale shriek of a dying rabbit reached his sensitive ears. The scent of blood pierced the air, stirring his desires. He climbed deftly from the branches and landed softly on the ground, stalking quickly towards the sounds of someone enjoying a prize. His intention was to take whatever it was from whomever it was, but the overwhelming scent of something familiar gave him pause.
When he found the source of the blood he realized it was Giggles, his sister. He stalked around her, wicked claws twitching and mouth salivating. Were it any other creature he would take what he would, but Giggles was an entirely different thing to him. Sister. Family. Somewhat foreign a concept to the walker, despite growing up with nothing else. It seemed there was something within him that felt barely kept at bay. He sat down, watching the female and letting her enjoy her meal. He would hunt later.
**Note to rp manager - these two were charmed at birth, just waiting on the actual charms smile **

Dark nostrils flared as they took in more air, the cat attached grinning madly. She paid no heed to the familiar smell as she continued her meal, noisily snapping at flesh and bone and fur. She was confident that he wouldn't interrupt. When she'd decided that she had her fill, Giggles let out a chuff and flung the carcass toward the male, still grinning. "Hungry, brother?" Her low growl may have indicated distaste toward the other walker, but it was just a little game she liked to play with her family members. The blood on her lips and face felt cold in the autumn air, and it dripped messily down her chin. "You'll have to convince me to share my prize, of course. But it might just be that I'll let you have some." Her smile never waned as she spoke, and her eyes rolled around in their sockets carelessly. "But you wouldn't use those big black claws on little odd me, would you?"

His gaze flicked at the carcass she flung at him, something inside of him urged him to pounce on it and tear apart the flesh and savor the taste of the blood. But he did not. He snapped his gaze back to the female, cocking his head slightly. "If I wanted such a skinny prize I wouldn't simply take it from you." He traced the curve of her wicked grin with his eyes, always intrigued by her strange expressions. "I'd rather use my claws on much larger prey than that." His claws twitched anxiously beneath him. "Are you in?"
