She just wanted to patrol. She just wanted to patrol (and take up Amphitrite's energy quota, too, just because her sister had seemed - distant, lately, the last few months, and it really wasn't hard to meet quota if she brought along another outfit - a hoodie, legwarmers - she stayed in public places and never started a fight, and nobody started one with her). But Chrysocolla'd started wondering, lost in thought, and she'd gone off her route (predictable, she'd need to vary it soon) and --
Captain aura? Captain aura. Someone she didn't even necessarily recognize, either - or someone who didn't recognize hers, judging from the fact it barely moved when she got closer and closer, lightfooted across the rooftops, hair flaring out behind her every jump and -
That's a lot of blood, was Chrysocolla's first thought; her hands drew up to her mouth, unbidden, and her eyes grew wide in horrified realization. "S - stop, you're killing him," she cried out unbidden, not even thinking to call her magic to her hands before she jumped down, trying to pull Wolfeite away from his unfortunate prey. "You're killing him, stop it, stop it!"kuropeco sorry it took me a few days, hope this is alright?

The blood was everywhere.
He could taste it on his tongue, coppery and tangy, familiar. The scent of it hung in the air, and Wolfeite dragged it into his lungs, inhaling the breath of it, gold eyes glinting with a wild sort of hunger that seemed to burrow deep inside of him, tearing through his very veins.
The senshi - nameless, faceless, and slumped against the alley wall - wasn't dead, not yet. But he'd put up a fierce struggle, unwilling to go down without a fight, and Wolfeite had given him exactly that. The senshi's magic had managed to slow him, but Wolfeite was faster and stronger, and the senshi's aura was weaker than his own, which meant he had the advantage.
He liked having the advantage. It meant he got what he wanted.
All Wolfeite had been intending to do was rip out the starseed, which would have left less of a mess, but the struggle meant no chance of that. Wolfeite stood now, the senshi pinned to the brick wall behind him, one hand on his neck, the other buried in the center of his chest.
He barely noticed the second power signature, close to his own - not until it was right on top of him, arms grappling with his hands, and Wolfeite let out a snarl that reverberated throughout his entire chest.
He yanked his hand harshly back without a single moment of hesitation, the starseed glowing dully as the senshi collapsed. Wolfeite flung an arm out, violent and quick, shoving at the person trying to get them away, curling gloved, clawed fingers around his ******** off," he hissed, "Who the hell are you?"

Chrysocolla might have had the advantage of a higher power rank, but Wolfeite was stronger than she was physically (would have been without the magic, no question, and even with it she was nervous and not-good-enough), and he was much larger -- she skidded backwards when he threw his arm out, offbalance, breathing stuttering. "Y-you're going to k-kill him - he needs to get to a hospital, what were you thinking - "
She stopped. Stuttered. Fingers stretched, closed, stretched again as her brain restarted, going to the first thought it could.
"Who's your General."
She lunged for him again, desperately trying to wrestle the starseed away, trying to use her smaller size to her advantage best she could.

He would have liked to hear her bones snap under his fingers, but there would be time for that later, Wolfeite tearing away from the senshi. She had an aura similar to his own, but she was not Dia, nor Adamantine, which left her free reign.
The mask that usually covered the lower half of his face was pulled down, Wolfeite's sharp teeth flashing white in the dark as he grinned maliciously. The question seemed to amuse him, a ripple of barking, wild laughter escaping from the Captain's throat.
"Oh. Oh, and what will you do if I tell you, little senshi?" he crooned, his tail lashing behind him, ears flat against his dark hair. The golden wolf's eyes were glowing in the black pits of his eyes, haunting and hollow in the shadows of the alleyway. "Will you run to daddy and tell him that I've been a bad child?"
His grin turned malicious, maniacal. Wolfeite jerked his arm away from the senshi's prying grasp, and leapt backwards, still holding his prize, feet skidding on the slippery, bloody ground.
"Are you trying to get me in trouble, little senshi? I'll tell you a secret," said Wolfeite, putting a gloved finger to his lips as though they were sharing a secret. The expression on his face turned ugly, monstrous, a snarl escaping from the back of his throat.
"My general doesn't give a ******** about you so leave me be."

"N-no," Chrysocolla stumbled over her own words, heart stutterstepping like it was lightning in her blood. "I don't - you can't just hurt people -" it was obvious she was cowed, from her posture, from the blood that'd pressed onto her from contacting Wolfeite's uniform (and didn't she look like she wanted to run, too, like she wanted to tear her own skin off wherever blood was). Fifteen or sixteen, maybe, any further precision on her age hard to tell in the darkness of the night.
Her teeth barely showed, lips thin. She was terrified.
In times like this -- and she would do it again and againn, because she would never learn -- Chrysocolla always went to her base instinct, the only thing she could do that was Hers and Special, the only thing she had -- her magic, so -- she thrust her hands out in front of her and called "Warhol Mood Prism," voice hitching, and the energy that flooded out of her hands lit up her face bright white.kuropeco Effect: When hit with this attack, a person's emotions become almost cartoonishly exaggerated: mild anger to berserker rage, fear to utter paranoia, the like. This attack lasts one minute if it hits someone, and while a target may be aware their emotions have been altered, they cannot calm themself down. It's a ten-foot cone radius, so he could be out of range if you're not feeling it~

She was so young. So naive. So wonderfully, breakably naive. Granted, most of the Negaverse was breakable to Wolfeite, but it felt like a long time since he had met someone tainted with Chaos who still believed in something so...Order.
It was vile.
He heard her words, felt the magic hit, but it was subsumed into the anger, the amusement, the hunger. Wolfeite was always hungry, but it consumed him now, spreading violently through him like a disease, like a poison searing hot and cold simultaneously in his veins, overtaking his senses. The greed for everything was thick in his throat, and Wolfeite turned dangerous eyes towards the senshi, teeth glinting sharp, sharp, sharp.
"Oh, little senshi," he crooned, and lifted the starseed, because he could no longer help himself. It was pushed into his mouth, those teeth crunching down on it before it could be stopped, the fizzle and snap of energy shivering through him. "You really...really shouldn't have tried to stop me."
He lunged at her, a snarl ripped from his throat.

"Oh, s**t," Chrysocolla said breathlessly, staring horrified at Wolfeite and at what her magic had just done -- this always happened, it always happened, and she should know better -- but when she was scared, all of her logical thinking seemed to shut off, and she couldn't know better.
A cry ripped itself out of her mouth when the starseed crunched into so much sparkling glitter between his teeth, and she wasn't focused enough for teleportation -- she couldn't get out of the way when Wolfeite lunged, trying to push him off instead, trying to knee him between the legs because she didn't know what else to do.

He could taste the starseed on his tongue, could see nothing and feel nothing except the hunger twisting in his veins; an insatiable, all encompassing, sweeping greed, magnified by whatever magic the senshi had used on him, his smile stretching manically across his face.
Her attempt at kneeing him missed the crucial part of him, Wolfeite twisting out of the way, but it caught his side and spun him, his fingers slipping on her arm where he'd grabbed her. He hissed out a sound of pain, staggering, and lunged forward again, clawing at her wrists to grab them, ears flat back against his hair.
"Little lost senshi, trying to do some good - " Wolfeite crooned.
"You're wearing the wrong colors for that."

You know how to fight, Cinnabar taught you, this is -- this is stupid, you're stupid, you're pathetic -- any attempts her mind made to restore order couldn't be heard in her panic, and any semblance of form Chrysocolla had was lost except for the basics - he was on her he was holding her wrists -
She kicked out again, eyes wide, and tried to headbutt him as best she could because she didn't know what else to do.
"G-get off!"

He had gotten ahold of her wrists, and Wolfeite yanked, savagely, twisting one of them sharply to the side with the obvious intent to snap one of them. He was hungry for the feel of shattered bones under his fingertips, for the delightful pain it would bring to her.
The senshi's forehead slammed into his own. Wolfeite let out a howl like a wolf and staggered back, his mind spinning, practically spitting with rage.
"Get off? Get off?"
He was laughing now, high and maniacal, Wolfeite regaining his composure, tail flicking behind him as he stalked towards the girl once more. The all-encompassing hunger was fading a little, but he was always hungry, always greedy for violence and more.
"You think you can tell me to stop when you're the one who was trying to keep me from what I was doing? What can someone like you even do? What can someone so pathetic and so Order do to someone like me?"

Chrysocolla cried out sharply in pain when something in her wrist caught and snapped - it was a new feeling to her, but it was one she'd have been perfectly happy to have never felt at all in her life (or, at least, if she wasn't under the influence of heavy pain medication -- then, maybe, it might have been alright). But it wasn't -- it wasn't alright.
She tried to look smaller than she already was when Wolfeite came towards her, again, breathing coming too-shallow and too-fast. "I'm n-not -- I'm not one of them! I haven't been! I hate them!" All the while, Chrysocolla held her injured wrist defensively with her uninjured hand, shoulders tight. "A-and you can't be, very good, if you're not a General...!"

Oh, how he loved the sound of bones snapping.
Wolfeite could still feel the adrenaline rush of the starseed in his veins, energy pulsing through him, a quick, fast way to get high. Labyrinthite likely wouldn't be pleased by his caving in and eating another; but the magic had forced his hand, and Wolfeite was nothing if not easily addicted.
He licked his lips, grinning maliciously at the senshi.
"I don't need to be a general," he said, voice low and crooning, almost serene, edged with a volatile heat threatening to explode at any second. "You seem to protest a great deal for someone who just tried to stop me from doing what it is we do here."

"M-maybe it's -" she licked her lips, dry, chapped, bitten - "m-maybe it's what you do, but I don't -- I don't hurt anyone like that. I could never do that, I --"
Chrysocolla swallowed again, trying to look even smaller, tears forming in the corners of her eyes. She hated this, hated the way she couldn't control anything she did, hated the way her emotions showed on her face so easily but she couldn't help it - she couldn't help anything.
"The White Moon just -- they think they're doing the right thing, that's no reason to kill them, we can help them! We're b-better than they are -- but doing this doesn't make you any better at all...!"

He laughed, and the sound was maniacal and cruel in the shadows.
"Do you think, little senshi, just because you sprout wings and spout nonsense that you know better than I?"
Wolfeite's tail lashed behind him, movements as sleek and fast as a snake in the grass, ears pointed up now, catching every little sob, every shift of the senshi's body, his grin stretched and twisting across his face. There was no good anywhere to be seen, only pure chaos.
"You know nothing and you will be nothing," he spat out, the words venomous and scathing, laced with disgust. "You can live in your happy little world and pretend you can do anything and all the while this world will eat you alive."

Chrysocolla wasn't really hearing him anymore -- well, she was, but. She wasn't. Her eyes were squeezed tightly closed, her breathing being forced to even out, her injured wrist held stiffly as she - remembered. Focused.
She was a soldier of the Negaverse and she would not let one little fool Captain kill her.
When she looked up again, it was with determined eyes. "...you're making a mistake. None of us will help you when they kill you." Her lips moved, almost silently , words under her breath - and then there was magic in her hands again, glittering light in the half-shape of a sphere that she thrust at him.
"H-have a good night, you d**k."
A deep breath, again -- and she teleported, settled herself, teleported again - a few repetitions and she was out of reach of his sensors, heading back to the buildings where she slept - she'd see a nurse in the morning. Maybe. If she slept right, propped herself up, she'd be fine, she could play it off to the uninitiated -- but.
There was nothing to say, really.kuropeco If this attack connects, it temporarily reverses the enemy's primary emotion for twenty seconds; i.e., bravery to cowardice. If someone realizes their emotions have been altered, they can shake the magic off. shes using that attack on him! fin on yrs?
