The radaku snarled at Talisia. Frowning, the hybrid slowly took a crouched step forward. Would it try to attack or bite her? The stubborn thing had started a fight, but didn’t seem to want to actually engage her after stealing from her bag. “Come on…what’s wrong?” She asked while reaching out a concerned hand. Of course – if only she wasn’t so easily duped by an injured expression on a creature – what Talisia missed was the forms circling around her.
Two more radaku then had jumped from the trees and towards the hybrid girl. Cursing softly under her breath Talisia swirled around and reached for the whip that hung at her side, “Okay then. I see the game that you’re playing.” She commented with a faint grin, “I suppose you didn’t want that type of help after all?” She glanced back towards the radaku who had suddenly gotten back up on its paws with teeth barred. Oh they were angry alright – super angry and ready to fight for their territory.
I suppose I have a knack for walking into the party at the wrong time. Quipped Talisia quietly to herself as she slowly started to back away with her whip in hand, “Come on now. No need to fight.” She spoke softly as if an attempt to appease the wild creatures who were looking at her like some challenger or better yet a potential meal to devour. Now this was not the type of afternoon that Taliisa was looking forward to. Sighing, the hybrid flung back a stray piece of hair before moving her hand into a pouch hanging by her side. Quickly before they could continue their snarling, the girl tossed something out of the bag which distracted them. A treat?! Their gaze followed the strange snack as it flew through the trees and while one inched towards it, Talisia inched backwards.
If only they could keep their gaze on that and away from her for a bit! Still, the woman had to curse as one of the trio -an older male with a ragged scar across his maw- came towards her instead. “Not wanting any of that are you?” Talisia joked towards the gleaming eyes, “Alright then.” Sighing she flicked out her wrist so that the whip could snap in the air. A fight it would be then. If these boys were willing, then she would be happy to oblige – honestly it had been a while since she had some fun anyways so Talisia was grinning with some anticipation after all.
The loud noise of course had gained the attention of the two who had almost been distracted by the treat. Instantly they were back with a snarl as they climbed over roots to chase after her. Of course in the case of three radaku lunging after her Talisia figured that running a bit would help to ease the strain. They could wear themselves out trying to catch up with her. Smirking, Talisia only stopped to twist through vines that she slapped back towards the creatures along with her whip on occasion. Eventually the first would stumble and the girl would swing around on a vine to land a good kick in the snout to discourage it from chasing anymore. The next would find itself slipping in the mud and Talisia without hesitation would twist so that she could send a rock flying towards it. A whine filled the air making certain to note the radaku’s failure in the chase.
While two faltered one managed to actually keep pace through the forest floor. It was the older one who seemingly had the experience to track down a fast prey and not falter when her whip stung his side. Instead he jumped from a taller root to latch onto her side with his claws. Wincing, Talisia ended up dropping to the ground before tumbling away. Okay then so this guy isn’t to be messed with. That would definitely need some bandages later. Flicking out her whip Talisia circled the older radaku before smirking, “Fine. You win.” She called out teasingly before removing her pouch. She just hoped this ploy worked…
Tossing the slightly heavy parcel forward so that it could distract the radaku -last time it had only been one small treat rather than the whole bag- Talisia was thankful to see that it was enticing or even perhaps simply just surprising enough to catch the beast off guard. Now all she had to do was just run and keep running until she saw a familiar campfire were she could finally rest and doctor her wounds…
