Eziya hadn't wanted to fight the beast at all. In fact, she had been planning to do the exact opposite of that. The poor Quhar had been all injured and she had simply wanted to go over and heal it up so it could go about its way. That had apparently not been a good idea. While she had known her intentions, it had most certainly not known hers and had decided that it didn't like her coming near it one bit. Which is why she was running away so much now. Being a healer, especially one in a skirt, did not help this situation at all either. The great beast was injured, sure, but it was still much faster than her little legs could carry her. It was gaining on her, and it was now or never if she was going to make it away from the beast unscathed. She had to do a distraction tactic or something. Glancing over at the tree near her she formulated a plan, one that would hopefully work. As it charged at her she quickly, well as quickly as she could, ran and hid behind the tree, hoping its momentum would get it stuck. Luckily her plan seemed to be at least a little valid as she watched its horns get caught in the tree. She felt awful for harming the beast even more, but she had to smack it over the head with her staff to knock it out. At least that way it would cause no harm to her while she fixed it up. Its head fell forward a bit as it went unconscious, and she quickly used her magic to fix up its wounds. Whatever had gotten a hold of it had not been kind, and she could understand why it was being hostile. With creature healed and removed from the tree, she could happily make her way home at least.
