[OOC - please feel free to use this thread to experiment the Moly Flower cures on Turned people! Both successful and unsuccessful cures are welcome, so far as you have a person interested in eating it.]
Izzy swayed on her feet uncomfortably, feeling a lot like some kind of high school drug dealer. A plastic baggie was in her hand, with three weird looking little Swiss Rolls inside. She looked around the empty old dining hall of the inn, which was lit with oil lamps and decorated with camping gear, and tried to find a new willing victim. Most of the human Chosen would find an animal, tame it back to sentience, and then just ditch it at camp. So there was a zoo's worth of animals at the inn now, hoping to stay safe from the real predators of the wood.
She spied a large white and grey hare on the bar table, nibbling at some food left out for it. It wore a bow tie, and so Izzy was confident enough it was a Turned Chosen. Maybe this one would bite. Izzy approached the creature quietly, and in a smooth motion, leaned against the bar table next to the animal, as if she was pulling up to share a drink. The hare eyed her, but did not run.
"What's up, doc?" Izzy said. The hare rolled its eyes. She opened her plastic baggie, and gingerly took out one of her fruit leather cures. "Want to give this a try? Might turn you back human."
Izzy was hopeful when the hare took a hop towards her. It (she? he?) sniffed the possible cure in her palm, twitched its nose, and then turned tail and hopped away, into an old pile of barrels.
"Come on!" Izzy banged her other fist against the bar, then looked around the room. "Someone here must have liked being human. Any takers for a mystery cure? It shouldn't kill you, I think."

Lex was a bit nervous as he fiddled with the crumbly brown sugar cubes that contained his cure.... he really hope they work. Specially with small tiny Beth running out there, as a tiny itty bitty mouse.
But he stilled had to find her, but first? First he wanted to make sure she could turn back. "You sure about this?" He asked, rocking slightly on his feet in the old dining hall of the inn.

"Yeah, I'm sure." Rob looked around the dining hall at all the other animals -- turned Chosen, he reminded himself -- that had been collected. Hopefully there were enough cures to go around. Hopefully the cures would work.
He approached the garishly-dressed girl who seemed to be running the show. "Hi, I'm Rob. This," he pointed at the bright macaw perched on his shoulder, "is Sid. She's a turned Chosen of Apollo. We'd, um, like to try one of the cures. Lex here has some too, I think." He nodded at the Hermes Chosen's sugar cubes. "I don't know which we should experiment with. What do you think, Sid? Since you're the one who needs it."

Sidney, wearing a very fetching coat of red, blue and yellow feathers, was comfortably settled on Rob's shoulder when he entered the hall. She watched everything with bright eye interest and just a touch of smugness. Being a bird meant people did things for you, like walk around carrying you, and she was fully enjoying the attention.
Her attention was drawn as she heard Rob start to speak and she angled her gaze to the new girl, giving her a once over with her head tilted to the side.
"Hooowrdk. Hoowwdy." She managed, clucking in amusement and frustration afterwards. Sure, Parrots could imitate human speech, but it was an entirely different method of talking when you didn't have lips. It was all... back in the throat, worked by the tongue, and it took some practice.
So. They had two versions of the cure here to deal with. She glanced between Lex and the girl she didn't know, flaring a wing out in a bird version of a shrug. There was no telling if either of them worked any better than the other, or at all, even. Probably didn't matter which she tried.
Pushing off from her perch, Sidney fluttered down to one of the tables and landed with a scrabble of claws, her wings flared opened till she found her footing. Head stretched up, she shook herself to settle her feathers, tail wagging.

The jingling of the "collar" the wolf wore announced her presence before she entered the inn's dining hall as quietly as she could. She felt odd entering human places as a wolf, but Tara didn't see the point in just... sitting around outside or something while others seemed to be going in and out with relative ease.
She'd followed Izzy's scent, though other scents in the air made her nose twitch and ears flick. Scents weren't that familiar to her yet, but voices were. She heard Rob's voice, and heard him say Sid's name, and her ears went right on up, claws clicking on the floor as she trotted up to the forming group.
Giving a small--ish... ok it was a lot louder than she'd intended--but friendly bark, she shoved her head against Rob's leg before moving over to-- ...well she had been about to sit beside Izzy, but the flutter of movement on one of the tables had the wolf going over to the large bird instead, muzzle poking up over the edge of the table to sniff curiously at the avian. Wanting a better look, Tara got onto her back legs, front paws on the table so she could support herself to look properly at the bird. Her head titled this way and that, trying to make sense of the scents she was getting in the air. The bird smelt odd and she wasn't quite sure why... but her tail wagged in a curious, but friendly manor. Friend?
[Note: Failed cures only please! I don't want Tara to turn back yet~]

Character Name:Tara O'Connell Brief description of character: An always smiling, cheerful sort, Tara wears her heart on her sleeve. A keen eye makes her a valued photographer, and an improving shot with a bow, but her temper makes her surprisingly stubborn and too willing to dig her heels in when she feels it's needed.
As he watched Sid ponder her choice of medium with which to consume a cure, Rob heard a loud bark, then felt a heavy bump against his leg. He looked down, puzzled, and nearly jumped out of his skin. "What the actual bloody ********> he yelped, "it's a bloody wolf." Then he realized that the large black canine must be somebody or it would have bitten him, and he felt a little bad for freaking out at it. "Hey," he started sheepishly, moving over to where it was on its back legs sniffing at Sid. "Sorry about the bloody wolf bit. You just startled me. Who are you?"
As if the animal could actually answer his question. He ruffled the dense black fur on the wolf's neck, and his fingers found what felt like a collar. Looking at the wolf's throat, he saw an Artemis pendant, and his eyes widened. "Oh my god, are you Tara?"

"Howdy, Sid. I see you started to figure out how to speak," Lex said and walked over and sat down on a table, laying out the cubes. "Hopefully these will help fix that problem."
He started slightly at the loud bark and looked down. "Hello," He murmured, nodding to the wolf, looking at the collar in interest. "Does anyone know how many of the chosen have been turned yet?" He asked. "Or how many animals we have brought back?"

Izzy offered Tara a friendly little scritch on the head before she replied to Lex. "Dunno. Maybe someone's keeping a spreadsheet or something." Izzy set down her cure as well, the weird, powdery Swiss Rolls made of crushed flowers and fruit leather. Between her and Lex, they had a sad little buffet set out.
She smiled at Rob, Lex, and Sid - particularly at Sid, who was so brightly colored that Izzy could not help but be endeared by the bird. "I'm Izzy, in the Artemis Lesbian Cult with Tara.". She grinned especially wide at Rob, since she enjoyed his surprise at the wolf very much. "Yeah, that's her."
((OOC - Izzy's cures work! Only eat if you want to return))
Busy preening, because by GOD SOMETHING WAS ITCHING, Sid failed to catch a lot of what was going on around her. It meant when a big doggy head suddenly popped up over the edge of the table, she was startled into an inelegant squawk as she flared her wings open.
Her beak gaped as she hissed, watching Tara clamber up to get a good look at her. After a bit, when nothing untoward happened, she relaxed a little, her feathers slimming down. Head tilted curiously, she got a better look at her 'attacker' and decided it must be one of the Chosen. No one was going to just let a wolf in here...
Tara? Was that the name she heard?
She glanced around the group, watching as people began laying out offerings that were supposedly cures. She eyed them with a measure of skepticism, but they'd never know if they didn't try, right?
She waddled over to Lex as he came to join her at the table, leaving Tara to her own doggy devices. Couldn't exactly scratch behind the ears at the moment. Instead, she reached out to nibble on his shirt as a sort of greeting before she turned her attention to the sugar cubes he'd brought. They looked slightly more appetizing than the rolls, if only because of her size.
"Shhhugar." She garbled as she scuttled closer. Being a bird was kinda cool and she wouldn't mind doing it from time to time, but this was not how she wanted to be while out here in danger. Small... vulnerable... barely able to talk. She wanted her bow back in her hands so she could protect herself.
Reaching out, she daintily nibbled up one of the sugar cubes and crunched it in her beak. Much of it ended up on the table, so it took a bit to get all of it down her throat, but she managed... and made a face at the herbal taste of it.
Yech. Hmm... was something supposed to be happening? Was she supposed to feel something? Were these duds?
And then the world went nuts and exploded, her vision blurring and jumping about as her body suddenly expanded, growing up and out as feathers fell away. Instead, swaths of tanned skin appeared, and rather than bright red, blue, yellow, rainbow sweeps of hair fell into dark eyes.
Sid sat stupidly in place for a bit, naked as a jay bird, before she crossed her eyes and reached to touch her human nose.
"Oh, wow... that was a trip and a half..." She breathed, her voice rough and raspy. She glanced down and that was when she realized everyone was getting a really good view of her piercings. And everything else for that matter.
"Um, Rob... you didn't bring my clothes did you?" She said as she looped an arm over her chest, casting him a look. This wasn't so bad though... not like she didn't regularly dress near to this anway. "I guess the sugar cubes work."
She flashed Lex a smile and a thumbs up, keeping her knees carefully together.

Rob watched in amazement as Sid-bird warped and shed feathers and changed right in front of him back into Sid-girl. He'd walked through Hestia's hearth and had seen the Chosen leaders change, sure, but he hadn't been paying that much attention at the time -- and of course Sid had become a parrot right next to him. But this was different. He was paying attention this time as magic happened before his eyes. He wasn't sure he'd ever get used to magic being real.
Then he realized that his friend, now human again, was naked. "s**t, Sid," he apologized, scrubbing his face with his hands and trying not to gawp at her, "I didn't get your clothes. Didn't think to -- I just wanted to get you back and safe." He shrugged and hoped she'd understand. Shuffling his feet, he pulled off his t-shirt and removed the Dionysus sigil pin before handing the garment to her. "Um, here. At least it's something, yeah? I reckon your s**t's still over by the campfire, unless people moved it," he said, pinning the god mark to the waistband of his jeans. He didn't mind being half-naked in front of everyone, even though he ran the risk of getting bitten by every bug in the swamp.
He looked at Izzy and Lex hopefully. Even glanced at Tara. "D'you know if there's like a place where everyone's s**t's been put?"

Lex gave a warm rumbly laugh as Sidbird nibbled on his shirt. “I wouldn’t, Sid. This shirt has been through hell and back.” He had taken some time to wash it the best he could in the sink but yeah. He didn’t want to cause her to be sick. “Brown sugar, and water, and moly… I’m hoping it masked the taste of moly enough to actually be edible.” He admitted, watching Sid take the first crunch of a cube and then a bit more. It was going to do something right? He let out a disappointed breath before startling as Sid grow?
Feathers shed about, and Lex was exposed to a lot of nicely toned flesh and rather brilliantly dyed rainbow hair and metal. “I’m glad to see that it did,” He did keep his eyes on her face, relaxed, and calm at the naked women on the table. "How do you feel? Besides being naked? Okay?"
“And umm, I’m not sure." Lex said, looking towards Rob. "I brought Beth’s clothing back and put them in one of the inns rooms for safe keeping. Maybe Sid's clothing is there to."

Izzy was somewhat more unruffled than Lex, though she tried not to show it. Her attention darted between Rob and Lex, and then she shrugged off her purple and lime jacket. She offered it to Sid to be used as a skirt or whatever, careful to keep her eyes on the other woman's face. Her eyes were narrowed in a mix of concern and curiosity. "Yeah, are you feeling okay? Do you think the cure is going to stick?"
Moly? It certainly didn't feel like the drug she typically knew by that name, but whatever it was, it really had seemed to work.
"I don't feel any worse for the wear, I guess." She said to Lex and Izzy as she ignored the gaping her friend was doing. That didn't stop a little smirk from curling up the corner of her mouth though. She caught Rob's shirt when he tossed it and she shrugged it on quickly. Luckily, as small as she was, it was baggy and fell well past her hips. It would do, until they found her clothes. She smiled as she pressed the coat back into Izzy’s hands. ”Thanks, but I think the shirt is enough for now. You should keep that so I don’t accidentally lose it or ******** it up or something. We're going to have to go get my stuff, because I don't have my emblem either, or any of the s**t I brought with me. My bow and stuff. I don't really like the idea of traipsing around barefoot and bare handed, so that would be priority one."
As she scooted to the edge of the table on her behind, Sid paused and reached out, cupping Lex's jaw. In a quick movement, she pecked a kiss on his cheek bone and flashed him a smile and a wink.
"Thanks for the cure, Chef. It tasted like a**, but at least it was edible, so you did a pretty good job there. And now we know it works, so you could probably help a few more of the Chosen who got turned." Sidney slipped off the table with a light step and stretched her arms up over her head, arching her whole body in a lazy, comfortable stretch. “I do feel like its gonna stick, too. I don’t feel wobbly or like I’m going to suddenly sprout feathers.”
Man, it felt good to be herself again.
"Rob, let's go check the fire pit, huh? See if my stuff got picked up. We can go check the store room after, if its not there." She waved a salute around the room. "Thanks guys, for helping out and all. I really appreciate it. If you wanna help find people's stuff with me, maybe we can bag it and put it where people can find it when they get changed back."
