Ever since a large majority of the gems on Earth had been corrupted and every other gem evacuated, very few had avoided corruption.
Sometimes Clear Quartz felt lonely being one of the few gems left... well, not unscathed by any means, but at least he was still himself. Now he just wandered Earth, hoping to find any survivors like him besides Rose's team. For now though, he sat in the grass in a field somewhere, watching the clouds roll by, and enjoying the warmth of the sun.

Sinful Archives Ever since a large majority of the gems on Earth had been corrupted and every other gem evacuated, very few had avoided corruption. Sometimes Clear Quartz felt lonely being one of the few gems left... well, not unscathed by any means, but at least he was still himself. Now he just wandered Earth, hoping to find any survivors like him besides Rose's team. For now though, he sat in the grass in a field somewhere, watching the clouds roll by, and enjoying the warmth of the sun. "Target located." A voice blared out from Beryl's earpiece. "Does she appear to be a hostile entity?" Beryl asked her subordinate. "Are you sure all gems are female? He appears to be male." "Probably just a form preference." Beryl said dismissively. "Retrieve him." A sound pierced the quiet peace around Clear Quartz. From out behind a large group of trees rolled a medium sized all terrain vehicle. Driving it was a man in very corporate attire. It stopped fifteen feet away from Clear and the man got out. "I have come to pick you up. Please come along." The man said in a clear and concise tone.

Clear was jarred out of his relaxed state and whipped to his feet, turning towards the man. He was obviously uneasy, but didn't react with hostility. He spoke in an unusual, monotone voice that didn't match his expression or body language at all, "pick me up? To go where? Who are you?"

"Don't worry I have no maligned intentions toward you. Someone wants to meet you and I have been sent to fetch you." The man said in a stoic tone. He seemed undisturbed by the strange being before him. "I was told to tell you to remember the battle of Anatolia." The battle of Anatolia was one of the larger battles of the rebellion and happened near the end of the war.

Clear's eyes widened, unsure who would be asking about such a thing, but something told him the man was sincere. "I remember it, I was too damaged to be on the front lines, but I supported the rebellion from the back," he nodded, but started to approach him and relaxed his stance, "may I ask who wants to speak to me?"

"A former member of the rebellion. She has been keeping a close eye on the remaining gems on earth." The man said as if from a script. "Your safety is guaranteed as beside my employer and maybe her pets there is nobody where we are going that could hope to fight you."

"Are you flight sick?" "I see," Clear nodded in understanding, "I'm not, though. I'll be okay, but... if we're about to fly, the difference in the atmosphere might mess with my physical form a little bit. My physical form is..." His cheeks flushed grey, embarrassed, "fragile by gem standards."

"That's fine." The man said as he pressed a button on his phone. "They should be here to pick us up in about...Thirty seconds?" The man sat there silently while in the distance a faint noise could be heard. Not like any a man made vehicle would produce.
