You venture a bit out into the swamplands, following a strange sound in the distance -- and before you can get too far, you spot a medium-sized animal, floundering around a bit among the trees. As you approach, you notice something strange: some shredded fabric still clinging around one foot, or around its neck, like the remnants of some long-destroyed clothing.
At this point, it occurs to you that this might be a transformed human being. maybe it's even one of you. And you must capture it.
Except it doesn't seem to want to be captured. Your approach spooks it, and it attacks you in blind fear.
Hit Points: 30 HP Damage: 4 HP each time you attack
If you bring this monster down below 5HP, it is injured and can be captured and brought back to the campsite for safe keeping until you can figure out what to do. However, if you drop it below 0HP, you kill it.
Either outcome, once finished witth at least 500 words each party involved in the battle gets 10XP and rolls 1d100 to collect loot according to the following:
1-40: You gain nothing but the victory of having beaten this opponent. 41-99: Moly Flower: a small white flower with a dark root. You're not quite sure what it's for, but decide to keep it. 100: Fine Wine: Why would an animal have a bottle of wine? Considering all that's going on, we strongly suggest you don't drink. If you act rashly and do, though, please PM and be blue for consequences.

Caleb needed some alone time from the others - too many people back at the camp and it was making him uncomfortable. He figured a nice stroll through the woods would be fine - and he kept a careful eye on his path to make sure it would be easy to get back if needed. Everything was going smoothly, as should be expected, until he spotted a moose.
A moose? In the swampy woods? That wasn't right. There was a piece of cloth still wrapped around its hoof - <********>, it must be one of the enchanted ones. The moose was staring him down, its back hoof kicking in the dirt as if it were about to start charging for him. Aw, s**t. He pulled out his greatsword and prepared for combat...

Caleb swung at the moose - trying not to hit it too hard as to not seriously injure the poor fella - as it charged at him, the cusp of its antlers smashing into Caleb's shoulder and causing him to stumble. They both took a hit, but nothing that he couldn't handle as Caleb prepared another swing...

...and a miss! But this time the moose circled back and charged at Caleb and knocked him to his feet. Caleb hopped off the ground quickly, refusing to be defeated by...a moose, of all ******** things. They seemed so innocent!

Another miss and another time being hit by the moose. Man, they were far more accurate than he was... Frustrated, he tried again, not holding back this time in his swing...

...a heavy swing landed to the moose's back and almost toppled over the creature, his antlers digging into the dirt and holding him up for a moment before he was able to correct himself in a wide spinning arc. A hoof kicked Caleb in the side as they both charged at each other once more...

...a strong but equal collision stopped them both in their tracks, blade pressed against the mighty antlers. Caleb pulled back and attempted a swing as the moose came closer in...

At the last moment, Caleb smashed the hilt of the greatsword to the moose's head, stunning it. Its head drooped down and it stumbled, still alive but not in the best shape. He felt a little bad, but he was injured himself too, so at least part of this felt like just retribution.
"Come on, frickin' moose," Caleb groaned, tugging at an antler to steer it to walk. "I'll take you back to our camp and people will take care of you." God, he hoped that this wasn't a Chosen or anyone he would have to meet again, because that would surely be awkward. Caleb led the enchanted moose back to the campgrounds and over to the small animal pen that had been set up to the nurse the wounded charmed creatures that had been found until a some kind cure or way to break the spell could be discovered.
Also along the way, Caleb found an item picked it up, but it was just...trash. He threw it away.
