It wasn't very often that Magnolia was found away from her brother, they were usually stuck together like glue and she tended to like it that way. However, there was something even she hadn't been able to tell him yet. She was dating one of their best friends from back home; Odell. He had stood up for her when she needed help in the hall one day and since then...well he had called her his girlfriend! And in front of all those people! They had made plans the day before to meet at a bench outside in the courtyard. They both needed to figure out how to break this to Atoris...
She was making her way toward that bench now, occasionally sighing at the thought of telling her brother. She knew her brother well, and she knew this news would probably upset him. I mean, just the thought of Atoris having a girlfriend was enough to ruffle her own fur! Her tail flicked in annoyance behind her before she took a deep breath and continued on her walk, arms crossed in front of her.
It wasn't too long before she was at the bench outside. She climbed up into it and got comfortable in the corner. At least it was a nice day outside with a cool breeze blowing in the air, off settling the end of summer heat quite nicely. The weather was actually helping her to puzzle out her own thoughts in her head.

 Apollo shifted the glasses on his nose to get a better look of his surroundings. He took a look down at his paper, wondering how exactly he had ended up outside. The layout of the place wasn't exactly what he'd call ideal, and was very confusing for new students. He thought he'd be set with the little map, but he was even having a hard time reading it. At some point, he had decided to just see where things led him, but even that wasn't proving very functional, he was pretty sure he hadn't learned a thing with everything being so similar.
Well, that was it, he wasn't going to continue to waste his time in this labyrinth anymore. He glanced around to see if he found anyone that seemed welcoming to a new student. Unfortunately, he didn't see any teachers about, mostly just other kids around his age and most of them looked involved in their own things, he didn't exactly want to invade their space. His eyes moved around to spot a single Neko on a bench. He nodded assurance to himself, a fellow Neko was exactly what he needed! He wandered over to her, cleared his throat and said in a calm voice. "Excuse me, I was wondering if you might be able to show me around campus? I'm new and this place is a bit much to get used to..." His face was slightly blushing as he wasn't used to talking to such a pretty Neko, much less admitting that he didn't know what he was doing.

Odell was pretty nervous about today, he'd been friends with Maggie and Atoris since they were all very young. He was nervous about going to the Academy, but Maggie and Atoris were going as well. He had always sort of liked Magnolia, but when this kid tried 'flirting' with her in the hall and she didn't like it, and they wouldn't stop well...things just sort of happened. Next thing he knew they were a couple. He made his way toward the bench where he had told Maggie they would meet. They had to break this to Atoris...oh...how would this go?
As he made his way over he noticed someone else walking up to Maggie as well. Another Bakeneko. When he got close enough he heard him asking about directions. This could be a good distraction and they could put off figuring this out for another day! Okay, sorry. He wasn't exactly ready to face Atoris just yet. He smiled and hopped onto the bench next to Maggie, wiggling close to her. Okay, so he could be a bit jealous sometimes as well.
"We could do that! Why don't we show him around Maggie?" Odell smiled and looked at the other freshling in front of them. "My friends call me Odie by the way, nice to meet you."

 Atoris was nibbling on a snack that he had gotten from the cafeteria. He hadn't had much thought about anything else other than the sweet little candies. He was hardly even paying attention to where he was walking, though he knew that Maggie was in this direction somewhere, probably waiting on him. He pulled out a grape flavored one and popped it in his mouth when he rounded the corner and spotted his sister on the bench, however, he had not been expecting to see two other Neko children with her. He had recognized their friend, Odie, but he didn't know who the strange purple Neko was. He frowned, already feeling himself getting a bit jealous.
"Hey Maggie." He stepped up closer, putting himself between the boys and his sister. His eyes danced across the other two carefully, as if challenging them to make a big deal of him cutting them off from her. "Hey Odie." He added. "So who is the new guy?" He asked as he shoved another candy in his mouth as if the scene didn't bother him at all, even though it already had his skin crawling. He hated the idea of this many guys being close to Maggie, and he'd make sure they weren't going to do her any harm, she was his sister and that was his job!
