Gaia Name: Minron
Character Name: Boba Fett
Codename: None
Alignment: Neutral
Powers: Boba Fett has no unique powers other then the use of his intellect and his expansive line of weaponry. From homing missile on his jet pack to a dart launcher in his armor’s knee pad, Boba Fett is equipped head to toe with high tech gadgets used for killing, stunning, or knocking out an opponent and occasionally, opponents. Fett’s helmet as several functions such as targeting, analysis, communication, a water dispenser, sound detection, and special automatic settings for when the light changes in the environment. The helmet also had a advanced HUD, that allows Boba Fett to see in complete three-sixty vision, allows to map rooms using sonic outputs, and even surf the Holonet for easy information, all controlled by sequences of blinking, eye movement, and voice commands. The Mandalorian armor he wears has built with duraplast; a very strong material and has built in recycling systems, can withstand the pressure of space, has several hidden gadgets such as wrist vibro blades, dart launchers, wrist rockets –which range from frag, concussion and personal-, grappling cable, flame thrower, a utility belt with usually ten pouches, anti-security knife, survival knife, sonic-beam weapon, wrist laser, and a data breaker. Boba Fett prefers the use of a E-33 Blaster rifle with scope and silencing barrel that is said to be three time strong and more accurate than a standard Imperial issue rifle. Boba Fett does not rely completely on his vast array of gear, but rather uses both his mind and expert hand-to-hand skills combined with his strength to sometimes gain the upper hand on an opponent who thinks Fett depends on his gear.
Bio: Boba Fett was the unaltered clone of Jango Fett; one of the most feared bounty hunters of the time. For Boba Fett, his father’s death at Geonosis not only signified the beginning of the Clone Wars, but the beginning of Boba Fett’s career as a bounty hunter. Before the rise of the Rebel Alliance, Boba Fett took several jobs for Jabba the Hutt, as requested by the book left behind for Boba to read just in case of his father’s death. After several encounters for key figures in the Clone Wars –most being generals of the Separatist forces- Boba Fett slowly started to become one of the most famous bounty hunters in the galaxy due to his age. One encounter even had him already going to toe to toe with his father’s killer: Mace Windu. Before either could strike the killing blow, Chancellor Palpatine ordered them to stop and Mace Windu to leave. Once Windu left, Palpatine paid Boba Fett for his information despite already knowing of the connections between Darth Tyranus and Count Dooku being the same person, revealing himself to being a Sith Lord. Knowing Windu’s fate later on in the war, Boba Fett gladly accepted the payment and left, satisfied with the confrontation. At the end of the Clone Wars and the rise of the Empire, Boba Fett turned thirteen; the age in which a Mandalorian becomes a man and Boba Fett’s advancement into a fully fledged Bounty Hunter.
The environment of the newly formed Empire was suited to Boba Fett’s style and he flourished in it, becoming soon the most feared and best bounty hunter in the galaxy. Boba Fett however didn’t simply take the highest paying job; he had a set code of honor that he followed by, just as the Mandalorian Jaster Mereel had done:
"Everyone dies. It is the final and only everlasting justice. Evil exists; it is intelligence in the service of entropy. When the side of a mountain slides to kill a village, this is not evil, for evil requires intent. Should a sentient being cause that landslide, there is evil; and requires justice as a consequence, so that civilization can exist. There is no greater good than justice; and only if law serves justice is it a good law. It is said correctly that law exists not for the just but for the unjust, for the just carry the law in their hearts, and do not need to call it from afar. I bow to no one and give service only for cause."
-Boba Fett
Boba Fett continued bounty hunting across the galaxy, making several deals with Darth Vader and even battled the Sith Lord several times, though he almost lost his first time, he out witted the Darth Vader and escaped. The second time, Boba Fett unleashed a lightsaber and fought Darth Vader on his own terms. Despite Boba Fett not possessing a lightsaber style, his sheer strength and force of will was enough to keep him on even levels with Darth Vader. Despite the battle, Darth Vader used the force and took Boba Fett’s lightsaber, not before he could escape again. When finally being able to capture Solo, Boba Fett takes him to Jabba’s Place on Tatooine, presenting him as a gift, but still claims the rather large bounty on his head. Later on, a rescue attempt is made to free Han Solo, in which results in the death of Jabba’s favorite pet: the rancor. Enraged, instead of letting Boba Fett claim the reward on the Jedi, Luke Skywalker, Jabba has them scheduled for execution at the Pit of Carkoon; a one of the largest Sarlaccs in the galaxy. Despite the fancy execution, Luke Skywalekr manages to escape and start a battle that results in Boba Fett’s jet pack malfunctioning, causing him to fall into the Sarlacc. Not willing to die and his armor protecting him, Boba Fett uses the combination of his jet pack and the Sarlacc’s stomach acids to blow the creature open, leaving Boba Fett scarred and his armor damaged. Later, Boba Fett is almost eaten by the Sarlacc’s offspring, since Sarlacc creatures reproduce similar to the Phoenixes of mythology. Befoore hitting the stomach, Boba Fett enconuters a portal opened by a card he discovered before the events of being eaten by the second Sarlacc…
Extra: Boba Fett has not had direct contact with the Marvel Universe, but the first Star Wars comics were made by Marvel Comics.
