How long had he been there? Laying awake, thoughts racing? He couldn't really remember anymore but he didn't really care. He was just allowing himself to be.
The stars shone brightly in the sky above him. His pale gaze just watching them twinkle far beyond any distance his brain could compute. An orange leg was draped across his side and he allowed everything that had transpired to sink in. He'd never been with a male before so the whole thing had been foreign to him but while everything was going on it seemed so natural. Everything made sense and nothing felt wrong. It had been exhilarating and truly wonderful. He never knew it could be like that. The raw passion and strong yet tender touch. He wanted more. Turning his gaze towards the male beside him he couldn't help but wonder how fate had allowed their paths to cross. He was truly glad this had happened, he just wondered why now?
He thought back on other relationships he'd had; be they one night stands or something a little longer. None of them had felt anything close to this. The pure power of their emotions still left a tingle across his flesh and he shivered slightly in pleasure at the remembrance of their embrace. He let out a soft sigh and watched the rise and fall of Moscata's chest as he breathed in and out. It was peaceful and he couldn't help but reach towards him and lick the side of his face tenderly. He was never this affectionate towards someone so the action surprised him but he let it go. It felt good and that was all that mattered to him.
Leaning back he allowed himself to doze back off into a world of sweet rapture.
Moscata had watched Besarion fall asleep before him. Their time together had been exhausting but it was a good exhaustion. Every fiber of his being was satisfied and he couldn't help but pull himself closer to the sleeping male and drape a leg across him almost protectively. He was slightly larger than Besarion but that didn't mean the male was weak. Still, he wanted to protect him-keep him safe from any and all harm.
Why now of all times? Why did he feel this way about this particular male? Thoughts raced through his mind and he let out a soft sigh. It would all make itself clear in time and he figured there was no sense in worrying about it now. What was done was done and he wouldn't trade any of it for the world.
Would he say it was love? Possibly, but he wouldn't admit it. Not yet. It was entirely too early for that kind of proclamation. He wasn't about to scare away Besarion with his feelings. As he laid there, watching the other sleep he wondered what sort of life the two of them would have together after this. Would they even stay together? Was this just one of those once in a blue moon sort of things and that was it?
He frowned.
He hoped not. While he didn't like admitting it, he was in love with this male; a guy he barely even knew and he was stuck. He'd been with so many others before and not a one felt a fraction of what this was. How would he bring up something like that though? Just say 'Hey, want to go steady with me?' Who even talked like that anymore? He had no idea what to do but he figured he'd just let all that work itself out. From the males earlier actions this wasn't something he was used to doing so maybe everything was just slowly falling into place already.
Letting out a soft sigh he licked the top of Besarions head and fell asleep, dreaming of the future and what it would bring.
The rising of the sun caused him to open his eyes and blink a few times. Rolling over he felt himself continue to roll and looked around, shocked. Where had Moscata gone? Shock swept through him as he looked around, the rock wasn't cold yet so he had just left. But why had he left? Shaking his head he pulled himself together. What was wrong with him? He had just met him, what had he thought? That the two would spend every minute together after last night?
He felt like some love sick young adult again.
Placing a paw against his face he breathed in for a moment and let it out as he calmed himself. Why had his first thought been that the male had left him? There were a million other possibilities and he automatically assumed it was because the male didn't want to have to deal with an awkward goodbye. As if on cue Moscata appeared with a hare in his mouth and Besarion couldn't help but smile. He had gone and gotten him food. His heart melted a little and he couldn't help but move towards him and place the rabbit aside and show him how much it meant to him.
Moscata had gotten up early. He was hungry and figured that Besarion would be when he woke up as well. He knew where there was some decent hunting spots nearby and he finally tracked down a hare or two. One of which he ate there and the other he was going to bring back to the male asleep on the rock. He figured he would still be asleep by the time he got back but he was surprisingly awake and somewhat worried? He was about to set the hare down and comfort him when Besarion surprised him again and took the hare from his mouth and placed it aside. The look in the males eyes told him everything he needed to know.
This wasn't just going to be a one time thing. He knew it with every fiber of his being and he allowed himself to give in to the pale male for a second time.
