Tambre wasn't very good at this. In fact, socializing at all was beyond her skills as a person. Usually, she just barked and people did as she said, or didn't and faced her wrath. This... this was something different, this was more or less... terrifying. Tambre was completely new to the idea of actually having a friend and she had heard that this kind of thing was pretty normal among friends anymore, but how did she address it without sounding completely strange and pathetic?
She was the type that felt that friends were family already. They should be. But she knew that not every held that belief, even if she did, even if she was more or less terrible at showing it. Would Bridgette laugh at her? Would she think that Tambre was trying to come on to her? These thoughts were swirling around in her head as she waited for her friend to meet her at the restaurant they had agreed upon. Gods, she hoped this went well.

Bridgette looked around she wasn't sure what was going on. She didn't know what would happen but she was just so happy to have a friend. She had never had one before and it just made her want to squeal in delight at having a friend. She got ready and headed to the restaurant hoping Tambre would be there. She knew her friend would be but it was still hard asjusting to knowing she had a friend and that her friend wouldn't ditch her. She chewed on her bottom lip as she looked around then spotted Tam and walked over to her rapidly. She stopped next to her and smiled. "Hey I'm sorry if you were waiting long. I really hope I'm not late."
She wanted to hug her friend but remembered Tambre didn't like touch too much so she just smiled at her widely to show her happiness to spend some time with her friend. "I'm really glad we decided to do this. Dinner with a friend sounds like a lot of fun. Oven ever done that before." She shrugged and looked around. "Ready to go in?" She tilted her head at Tambre not sure if she had something on her mind of if she was just nervous about having dinner with a friend too. She was curious about how it would go and how the food was here. She hoped it would be good. "How have you been?"

Tambre watched when she saw Bridgette arrive. She slowly stood from the bench she had been waiting on outside the restaurant and smiled lightly, being unusually quiet, even for her. "No, you're fine, I haven't been waiting too long." She held the door open for Bridgette and told the hostess her name. The restaurant was nice but not too fancy, she definitely couldn't afford something too high class on her budget, but she did well enough for herself. She nodded a thank you to the hostess as they sat down at their reserved table.
Tambre couldn't help but draw in a deep breath, still very nervous about what she wanted to ask. There was a part of her that wasn't even sure if she had the gall to bring it up. "I'm glad we did too. I've been alright, work has been busy. How have you been?" She guessed it was best to keep the conversation light for now and try to work up the courage while they conversed. She was glad that Bridgette was having fun already, maybe if she kept her in a good mood it wouldn't be too hard to bring up?

Bridgette tilted her head at the slow rising and her friend being so quiet. Yeah Tam had to have something on her mind but she wouldn't pry. If Bridgette wanted to telll her if not then she would try to take Tam's mind off of whatever it was. "I'm glad you haven't been waiting too long." She smiled and nodded at Tam as she went through the door. "Thank you." She looked around the nice restaurant. She was glad it wasn't too fancy. She didn't really know what to do in really fancy places and they didn't usually like her looks. She went with Tam to their table and she nodded at thanks to the hostess as well. She sat down at the table with Tam and waited.
She watched her take in a deep breath and frowned slightly. She was worried about her friend but wasn't sure what to do to help with it. She smiled at her more and waited. She nodded her head. She was happy Tambre was happy too! She nodded her head. "Glad you've been alright. Hopefully it's a good busy at work. I've been alright. Just taking a few classes at the university and trying to figure out what to do still." She shrugged. It was hard to know what she would be good at or what she should do. She watched her friend then looked down at the menu trying to figure out what to get.

Tambre tilted her head slightly, smirking just a little a thought that went through her head as she studied the menu in front of her. "With the way you handled... you know... I thought you might be pretty good with kids?" She did her best to not mention the names or any sort of indication of what had happened just in case, though she couldn't help but feel the irony as the words passed her lips concerning the question she wanted to ask. She shook her head slightly to herself, "Where are you going to school at?"
She took a moment, nibbling her lip from behind the menu and slowly put it down, trying to clear her throat. She supposed she might as well get the question over with. "I... I was thinking about imbuing some stones. I think I'm ready for more kids. Kiessi and Lorek are getting so big and I think they'd like some siblings." She tried to make the conversation sound nonchalant, but she knew it wouldn't come out that way. "I... I was wondering if you might imbue the stones with me? It might be nice to have someone else help raise the kids... and you are pretty good with kids... from what I can tell.."

Bridgette titled her head confused a little surprised. She smiled softly. "I like kids. I've never really taken care of them before much but I like them. I just worried kids will take one look at me and scream about the big bad monster." She laughed happily. "Not sure I handled you know what the best out of everyone but I tried my best and I suppose that's all anyone can ask of anyone else." She smiled. "I go to Levantian and Asterion. I'm trying to figure it all out. So hopefully I'll figure it all out. And you seem really good with kids. You seem like a really good mom." She smiled softly.
She went back to looking at the menu trying to figure out what to eat. She flicked her eyes back up to Tambre and tilted her head more. "Oh. That sounds really nice. I would like to one day maybe meet your kids. I know how much you care about them. And any child would be lucky to have you as a mom. Id like to one day imbue a stone." She didn't know how good she would be at being a parent but she wanted to do it. Her eyes widened in shock when she heard the question. "Me?" She took a deep breath and smiled. "I'd be honored if you think I'd make a good co-parent with you. I would really like to imbue stones with you and raise our kids. It would be nice. It would be nice to have a family. Do you really think I'd be a good parent?" She smiled at her and beamed.

vampireluver123 Sorry it's so crappy... I'm feeling pretty bad today, but I wanted to get this done. @.@;; Tambre's head tilted to the side and she smiled lightly. "Those are actually the same schools I went to. Asterion for Law and Leviathan for Medical training." She tilted her eyes back to her menu, trying to hide her nervousness. "Nah, you'd be surprised what kids overlook. In fact, most of them would love it, they'd think you'd chase them and play all day." She blinked when she heard the compliment, she never did very well with them, but she actually felt a slight flush on her cheeks. "Uhhh... thanks. My kids are my everything..."
When Tambre had finally settled on what she wanted to eat, she put the menu down and smiled gently. "I'd like you to meet them too, I'm sure they'd both love you. They spend a lot of time at the Academy now, Kiessi more than Lorek though, I sometimes worry about Lorek since he's so shy." She nodded gently and took a drink of the water the hostess had provided her. "I think you'd make a wonderful mother, Bridgette, I wouldn't be asking you if I thought you wouldn't. I think it'd be nice for the kids to have two parents, I'm not always the easiest to get along with and I'm sure they could use an ally on their side." She half chuckled at herself, noting all the times she yelled at her kids already. She was surprised they didn't hate her when she let her anger get in the way.

Bridgette watched her and waited unsure of what Tambre would say. Her eyes widened a bit in surprise. "Oh? That's pretty cool. Did you enjoy the two universities?" That was pretty cool to hear. She went back to looking at the menu and trying to figure out what she wanted to eat. She didn't know yet what since so many things sounded good. She laughed and shrugged. "I guess you'd know more about what kids think and like than I would. It would be nice if they thought that way but I don't know." She smiled a bit and then waited to know why Tam blinked like that. She smiled when she saw the flush and watched her. "You're welcome. Yeah it sounded like that from how you talk about them."
After a little bit more Bridgette finally figured out what she wanted and put her menu down. She looked up to see a gentle smile on Tambre's face and smiled back. She beamed looking really thrilled about getting to meet the kids. "I'd really love to get to meet them. And I hope they'll like me. They sound like amazing kids. I'm sure he will gain confidence as he grows" she took a sip of water and watched. She blushed and looked down. "Thank you for your confidence. If you believe I can then maybe I can." She laughed and shrugged. "Or maybe I'll seem like a demon to them and you'll be the good cop." She teased lightly. "And yeah two parents sounds good. More family to love and care for is always nice." She shrugged. "You're who you are and it just takes you a bit to open up to people but I don't think you're so hard to get along with." She smiled happy to have a friend to imbue stones with.

Tambre traced her fingers over the rim of her glass absentmindedly, giving a slight nod. "It was enjoyable enough, but I'm glad it's over. I'm not very good academically. Sometimes I think I only finished because I'm so stubborn." A slight smirk pulled her lips from her own jest about herself. "I'm sure you'll do a lot better than I did there." She knew a lot of people who missed that life now that they were older, but she definitely wasn't one of them. "My kids are so much smarter than I am, I'm really happy about that."
She just smirked and straightened herself against the back of the booth. "Kids have a funny way of seeing the intention of those around them, despite what they look like. I'm sure kids would love you. You're a lot sweeter than I am, so I seriously doubt I'd be the 'good' cop anyway." Not that she really had a lot of room to talk, she was a bit of a pushover when it came to kids. "I'm really glad you want to do this with me, it'll be the first time I've imbued with someone, so it'll be new for both of us. I want them to have what I didn't, parents who care and want them." After say that, however, she stopped speaking, not really wanting to delve too much further into her past.

Bridgette watched her finger tracing the rim and sipped more of her water. She listened to her and smiled. "Yeah I've seen just how stubborn you can be. So far so good but I've got a little bit meow to do. Hopefully I'll end well and get everything done and figure things out. I'm always impressed with people who know what they want and go for it." She grinned at the jest and chuckled slightly. "I hope so." She chuckled and smiled. "I think that makes most parents happy, to have their kids do better than themselves." She smiled more and looked down at the menu again. She grinned. "I'll be excited to meet these smart kids and see what they think. If they like me then my own kid will too."
She watched her straighten up and listened to what she said. She nodded. "Yeah I suppose you're right kids do tend to do that." She laughed. "I'm a little sweeter than you are. But you care and are sweet when you want to show it and be if. I'm sure there will be times you're the food one in their eyes and when I am." She stared in shock for a moment and felt honored to be the first Tambre wanted to imbue with. "I feel very honored and happy to be the first one you wanted to imbue with. I'd like that for my kids too." She didn't press Tambre about that and instead just waited to order food and would have a light conversation with Tambre after this.
