 Caramel had gotten off a long shift at the bar, but he was pretty happy anyway, he loved his job and he loved the tradition he had started where he would go to the coffee shop near the bar. There he would order a black cup of coffee, silly perhaps since he really should go to bed and get some sleep, but seeing the pretty gesit who worked there was well worth staying up a little bit longer. Caramel had spoken to Sariya many times after he had gotten off work, he had told her about his kids he didn't get to see as much as he would have liked, and she had told him about her kids wanting siblings. It crossed Caramel's mind, wondering if she would be willing to imbue stones with him, Caramel still cared about Cara and his kids, but it just felt like they had drifted apart. Cara was his business teacher, maybe it was better that he had broken things off with her and never followed through with the deal they had made at the wedding. Caramel walked into the coffee shop and smiled, walking up to the counter to order a black coffee and a cherry danish. Caramel smiled at Sariya and said "Hey Sariya do you have a break coming up that we could talk??"

 Sariya had gotten up for a rather early shift that morning, she wasn't all too happy about the alarm going off so soon, but she was becoming used to it. There was usually only her and maybe one other person opening the shop so early, a few more employees would come in periodically before their rush, but for now it was pretty quiet. She pulled some fresh baked cinnamon rolls from the oven and placed them on a plate, ringing a bell for the person who ordered them. She turned to wash her hands and smiled a little when she saw Caramel walk in. She waved at him, "Your usual?". She began making his order as soon as he stated it, sliding the plate over to him.
She couldn't help but tilt her head to one side as he sounded rather urgent. She looked toward the other person behind the counter and motioned, "Going to talk to Caramel for a moment, if you need something get me, okay?" She then took off her apron and slid it behind the counter, looking at him with expectation. "We can talk for a few minutes, what's going on?"

Caramel smiled and nodded, he considered how to ask her. Caramel thought a moment before just asking her straight out. "Sariya, you've mentioned wanting more kids, and I've told you about my kids.. I was wondering if you might want to imbue stones with me?? I really want to be more are part of a child's life and I feel like we've become friends over the time we've talked." Caramel said hoping she felt the connection and friendship that he felt.

Sariya couldn't help but blink, of all the questions he could have asked her, that certainly wasn't one she had thought it would be and it had completely caught her off guard. She slowly began to notice that everyone in the shop was currently staring at her as if Caramel was asking her to marry him. She drew in a deep breath, trying to get herself to calm down and to think about what was going on rationally. Sasori had stated that they wanted a new sibling, but how would they manage with two new siblings and another person in their life? It had been just the two of them for so long. "I... " It really wouldn't hurt anything, would it? Maybe having more people in their home wouldn't be so bad. "I think that I'd be okay with that. It would definitely help having someone else around to help raise them, rather than just by myself. Sasori would be happy too, I think." Was she really doing this?

Caramel smiled warmly, he wasn't sure what else to say, thank you didn't feel like enough. He couldn't profess love and he would lie to Sariya like that, she was his friend if they got to know each other more and that happened Caramel would count himself a very lucky fey, but having her as a friend was wonderful talking with her, imbuing kids together would be great. His only fear was losing the kids again, but Caramel wouldn't let that happen this time. "Alright so we can work out the details, of where they will live and stuff like that together as a team, I want to be part of their lives." Caramel said softly.

Sariya actually smiled, which was kind of rare for her. It wasn't exactly that she was unhappy, but she was usually so serious and constantly thinking that she rarely gave a moment's pause to smile. She was becoming more and more acclimated to the idea when she caught on to the last of his statement. She hesitated, the smile disappearing from her face. "Well I... I have a home already, and I wouldn't want to uproot Sasori. It's a large home, it was mine when I was a child... and honestly, I have no intention of moving. I'm sorry if that's a problem..." She sighed a little, almost figuring it was too good to be true. "I mean, I have plenty of room... if you and the children would like to live there until they grow up?" She hoped her roommate wouldn't be too mad about the decision.

Caramel nodded "I'm a flexible guy, as long as I get to be part of their lives, maybe I could help you take care of Sasori too." Caramel smiled "If they are anything like you I'm sure they are worth getting to know, I've enjoyed chatting with you after my shift at the bar." Caramel said warmly. "So yea I'll agree to raise the kids with you at your house if you're ok with that." Caramel said he was amazed that Sariya would let him that far into her life, it was in such a sharp contrast to the arms-length relationship he had had with Cara.

She smiled a little, thankful that he was still willing to do it despite her unwillingness to move. Her parents' house meant a lot to her, especially now that they were gone. She just hoped he would respect that and that she wasn't making a mistake by allowing him to move in with her, but she had little concern about it, he seemed like a nice guy and he wasn't trying to pressure her into a relationship with him as far as she could tell. "Sasori keeps to themself a lot. They're pretty quiet like I am. I'm sure the two of you will get along. We're both pretty independent, though, so it might take a bit for both of us to get used to, to be honest, but I'm sure we'll make it work somehow."

Caramel smiled and held out his hand to Sariya and said "Then we have an agreement Sariya." he said warmly.

Sariya drew in a deep breath, a flood of anxiety fluttering around in the pit of her stomach. She hoped this was a good plan and that Sasori really would be happy to finally get some siblings, that was of course if the Stonebank approved their application. She nibbled her lip and shook his head, feeling like this was more of a business arrangement than an arrangement to have children together, but the more she thought about it, was there really that big of a difference? "It looks like we do." She reached out and shook the hand he offered, meanwhile the butterflies were still swimming in her stomach.
