 Clothing: Armor Transport: Shire Horse With: Entourage of 20 guards Cash: $1000Going: Visit King Zalto Mood: CalmThoughts: "This is going to take forever"The newly crowned emperor Azazel had ridden all day and a bit into the night, the heat had caused his sweat to rest on his body under his armor, making him feel sticky and unkempt. A company of twenty guards had come with him for his own protection, some of them still had blood on their armor from the war they had fought, but they had all come to protect the Emperor as he came to Zalto. A guard stopped and stood in front of him and the Emperor looked down from his shire horse to stare down at the guard who dared impede his mission, he knew why, but it did not stop the annoyance from rising in his throat. Azazel moved slightly, swinging his leg over the horse and jumped down with a loud crack his feet hit the ground "I am Empperor Azazel Leon Drosselmeyer, Emperor of Epsilon and ruler of Lionis. I have come to speak to your King; Arthur Llewellyn." he said to the man loud enough that his voice would carry though the door and serving maids would start to rush to get ready, it was after all an unexpected visit. The Emperor would look back at his horse and hand the reins over to one of his men, he had no desire to enter the large golden castle, only to speak to the King.

-King Arthur Llewellyn-  The King of Zalto walked out with his hands in pocket. His eyes scanned the men in front of him till they settled on the Azazel sighing his took one hand out to scratch his head before letting it drop to his side. Bowing low Arthur's hair fell around him as he stayed like that. "What do I owe for this surprise visit Emperor Azazel? Has my kingdom done something to offend you? Or has someone from my kingdom wronged you in one way?" His tone was even and steady, no fear or emotion really escaped from his mouth. Standing up his eyes met Azazel's face and Arthur just seemed..bored? The a few servants where standing behind him with eyes downcast so that they could go and fetch something if they were required too.

Emperor Azazel looked at Arthur and moved his hand slightly as a symbol that he did not need to bow "Come now, Arthur, their is no need to bow so low to me. At one time I was below you and you still welcomed me into your house" he said as he would wait until he was no longer bowing before he went over and hugged Arthur tightly, the taller man almost a foot taller then him nearly crushing the white haired king before he pulled away "I came here to ask for the loyalty of Zalto and to personally to ask you for your fealty" he said to Arthur "You are like a brother to me, Arthur, it is the least I can do"

The guards were doing their normal routine until they spotted Kaiden appearing then he slowed Isara down as he pets her neck,"Sorry girl.." then she neighs back while one of the guards,"Prince Kaiden, Glad to see you are-" then Kaiden said,"My brother and sister are behind me, please send a couple guards to escort them safely back.." the guard nods while 2 other guards were on horses and exited to be with Princess Athena and Prince Aldon.
Kaiden then said as he gets off his horse as he gives the reigns to the guard,"Take her back to the stables and make sure she is taking care please, also if mother and father and my siblings were to ask of me, please tell them I do not wish to be disturbed.." the guard nods his head,"Of course Sire.." Kaiden soon walks off with Crys landing on his shoulder as she remained quiet on his shoulder then he continues to walk by himself with Crys on his shoulder as his hair drapes over his emotionless gaze while the people walk by him but he simply ignored them as he heads to the castle.

A familiar and loudly excited voice comes running to the prince and from the sidelines he is hugged. A surprise attack that came from a clumsy girl who accidently fell to the ground with the prince, and a maid who acts rather close to a royal who was out of her class. "Ouch, that was a rough landing...Oh on, Kaiden! Are you alright my prince?" Though she was glad to see him again Sarah worried she may have hurt the prince and checks him with the utmost care, and with cheeks burning with embarrassment.

Kaiden was thinking about what had happened today until he heard Crys screeched as she flies off his shoulders then the next thing that he heard Sarah then he and her fall to the ground but his arms wrapped instinctively wrapped around her waist so she won't be hurt but as she said to him if he is alright, he just hugged her slightly tight like he was afraid of her disappearing.
Kaiden wanted to be with Sarah, he loved her, he felt so safe with her and she was okay with him being blind unlike other people of Zalto, she treats him like a human being like he is alive then his body shakes as he buried his face into the crook of her neck then he mumbles"S-Sarah.." he wanted to say more but his body was shaking from him crying softly.

"Kaiden." She coos before having one of her hand pet his head as if a mother telling her child that everything is fine. ". . .Do you feel a little better, my sweet prince?" While only two guards looked at them questionably the rest of the onlookers knew that Sarah is familiar and close to the royal family. While many seen this as the maid innocently attending to her job her heart wanted to know how it could help the prince she loves.

Kaiden heard her voice then his body soon started to calm down then he said,"thank you..for being here for me Sarah.." then he lets go of her then he lifted his head up alittle so she can see his silver eyes but if they had any emotion then they will be filled with pain and sadness as he wipes the tears away from his eyes,"Here I am a prince of Zalto, cries like a small child.." he chuckles at himself.

You are nowhere near being a child just because your heart has grown heavy." The maid speaks softly while she lets her arms slide away to allow the prince to move as he pleases but would still pet his hair softly as she speaks to him. "I can tell something is wrong Kaiden. Would you like to take this somewhere more privately and speak about it? No matter what, I'm all ears." The maid wasn't sure what could have happened on Kaiden's trip to the other kingdom but she was concerned for him and wanted to share the burden her master carried if she could.

Kaiden could feel some eyes watching them both then he said,"Sure, somewhere private would be great.." then he stands up as he extends his hand out to Sarah to help her up. If she accepts his hand then he would not let go of her own but he still felt that she will disappear from him, all his life growing up all he saw was pure darkness and to him, Sarah is his only light to guide away from the dark.

It didn't take to long for them to avoid the staff for the head maid, herself, had already known who was performing what task and where they were at. Once at the training grounds she took another look around to ensure no one would see them. Having made sure they were alone Sarah lovingly pulls her prince to her before planting a soft kiss upon his cheek. "I missed you." She says softly near his cheek before kissing him again and again; only to then keep close and ask a question. "Will you please tell me what's troubling you, my Kaiden?"

Kaiden felt Sarah pulling him to the training grounds then once he knows that it was quiet around him he places his hands on her waist as he returns her kisses back to her then he hugs her once more as he places his lips on the side of her head as he sighs,"Aldon, Athena and I were at the waterfall to get away for a bit, we hardly had time to ourselves when we or I stumble upon someone..Ambrosia was her name..A bit odd for a lone woman and a wolf to wonder in the forest..Of course Aldon was hard on her despite on not trusting which I understand.."
He then sighs again as he continues,"Aldon and Athena were injured but not severely only minor, Athena has a bruised ankle but I manage to patch them both but Aldon decided that we pay the new emperor a visit.." then he lets go of her as he then grabs a small rock then continues again as he feels it in his hand,"When we got there, the emperor happened to be there, I felt so weak compare to him..its his presence that made me want to run and hide..I never act like when father is around but this man..he just was not right for some reason..then he started talking to Aldon about him and Athena marrying one of his children like Aldon marrying one of the princesses while Athena marry the eldest son of Lionis.."
He then crushes the rock into dirt then he said,"What was the point on me being there even though I am the second prince of Zalto..Do I matter to them? I am really thankful that I was not selected for this arrangement..I want to be useful to my family Sarah..I want to be recognized for my talents..I want mother and Father to know I can be useful!!" he then grabs one of his daggers then he spins around and throws it which the dagger sticks to a wooden dummy between its eyes then he breathes heavily,"I don't want to be a frighten child!" then his heart started to beat hard at his chest which made him cough and breath hard as he falls on his knees while tears fall off his eyes.
He then takes a deep breath then he said again,"I want mother to know that its not her fault for my blindness..I want father to know that I can defend myself, my family and to our people..I want to protect those that I love..I want to protect you Sarah..you are the love of my life, you are my light that guides me from this darkness that I see now.." he sighs again as his body shakes as more tears fall, he was finally able to let it out after all these years on growing up feeling like this.
Kaiden is very close to his mother and Aldon but he was afraid to say what he truly felt since he is the second prince and he doesn't want them to worry so he acts on being strong for them and for the kingdom of Zalto.

Sarah's own eyes seeing how much pain he's grown up with has never been easy on her. Since they were children she recalls always seeing him as a proper little prince while she was being groomed to be the perfect maid when her mother was alive. As her mother passed away and Sarah replaced her position she began seeing more of this side of Kaiden but in secret. It was almost never whenever she would catch him but when she did her heart always burned wanting to help him and hold him to make things better...but as a maid she had no right to touch the prince, and so she would silently suffer with him in the shadows, prying that one day she could be brave and do something useful for her prince. "I can tell that you're lost in the dark right now...But if I am you're guiding light then it is my fault that you are this way." A hand to sooth his heart and hold his gaze to hers. "I've known that you've felt like this for a long time, that you are week and fragile and useless, and yet I did nothing to help. I always wanted to say something when I would hear you damn yourself in the middle of the night, I always wanted to do something when you would be alone during the day...but I was too weak." It caused a lump in her throat to admit that she was too scared to do a thing for the one she cared about, and even now she feels rather powerless to save him, but she felt that she had to at least try something. Anything would be better than doing nothing again... "You, however, are not weak Kaiden. You do things others in your position would never have been able to have accomplished. You are smart, talented and compassionate. You have the makings of being a great person Kaiden. Remember that night at the ball? They said you fought valiantly along the others and that alone speaks of your strength. I mean for goodness sakes, that dagger you just tossed hit the dummy in the face! ...What I'm saying is won't you please reconsider calling yourself weak."
