25/25 |Shiloh Beaumont (masked) | Loves life
"Thooorrrrnnnnee...." Shiloh's voice echoed down the hallways of the court as he wandered, hands cupped around his mouth in a makeshift megaphone. It wasn't like him to be so noisy, but hell, he was enjoy the hell out of himself. After his encounter with Chris especially; besides, he hadn't seen his friend for a while.
Scratch that, he had, he just hadn't realized it until now. Funny how things worked out, huh?
"Stop playing with the guests for two seconds and come out here." he called again. Shiloh turned his back for a few minutes and suddenly he's lost track of the man. Well, Thorne was always a lot more free spirited than he was. Shiloh enjoyed playing life a little safer. elkbones big brother big brother where are youuuu

Thorne (Masked) | | 25/25 | | Little brother!!
Thorne slid around a corner at the sound of his voice, materializing with all of the grand elegance that Melany beat and kicked into her servants. He was grinning ear to ear at the sound of his own name, and when he spotted Shiloh, he crossed the distance between them in three long strides and easily hauled the other into a twirling embrace with a wicked, curling laugh.
"I am here, I am here," he said, hefting one arm under Shiloh's legs and balancing him against his chest with a slow, cat-like grin. If Shiloh wanted to kick himself free, he could at any point. But Thorne had his guilty pleasures, and this was one of them.
And after all, it had been so long. And he had been waiting for this moment ever since his time in the Ivory Hall.
"Now you are a delectable surprise, aren't you?" He hissed or purred or laughed. "How are you enjoying the night? Yours has broken rather beautifully, hasn't he?" Melancholies little brother Q Q I MISSED U

25/25 | Shiloh Beaumont (masked) | A Happy Reunion!!
Thorne appeared, and Shiloh smiled. Shiloh always did find it ironic how they'd been switched with a duo that also shared an impenetrable bond. Perhaps it had all been fated.
The happiness was relatively short lived when he was hefted into Thorne's arms, which did result in some squabbling and huffing. Despite his discomfort, he didn't struggle free. Sometimes it was important to let Thorne have these things, a*****e that he was.
"It took you long enough," he crossed his arms in a pout, "I was starting to get bored."
It was furthest from the truth, actually. Watching the guests struggle and roam the halls and the rooms in the Court was kind of hilarious. They all reeked of absolute desperation.
"Has he? I haven't gotten around to visiting him. I'm almost a little sad to hear he broke completely; it's more fun when they still have bite. Y'know, like yours does." he laughed, maybe enjoying the reunion a tiny bit more than he was leading on, "But I met with the teacher again. You've sure done a number on him, haven't you?" there was another laugh there, "Honestly, to think it had been you this whole time. Priceless."

Thorne (Masked) | | 25/25 | | Heart eyes ******** grinned at the smaller creature, his nails biting gently into the skin of Shiloh's thigh as he held him. If anyone walked by, it might seem strange. But everything here was strange. What did one more little scene even mean in the grand scheme of... well, whatever. Melany was the only thing that really mattered here.
Melany, and Shiloh by association.
Thorne gave a dramatic sigh, the mask jangling as he adjusted.
"I am sorry," he said with flourish, "I have been terribly busy. These guests, you understand, like to break in different ways." His smile was amicable, but the sharp edge to it suggested that the viper still lay waiting beneath.
"You should," he said as he stopped moving completely, looking up at Shiloh. "It's a beautiful image. Just what Melany prefers. Mine will never stop biting the hand that feeds. Not that I don't find it entertaining," He added with a soft, wicked laugh, "But that bite only lasts so long before Melany cuts out a tongue or two."
He tilted his head. This way, that. His eyes flickered, and he spun in a slow, gentle circle with Shiloh in his arms. Yes, it was an interesting brand of fate that they'd be the ones that had been chosen to switch. And now they were here. And what a night it would make.
At the mention of teacher, Thorne blew a raspberry and broke into a sweet, poisonous laugh. So much of him was a contradiction. He had been built to be beautiful; built to be violent. This Shiloh and him fit together like puzzle pieces, or tiny, unimportant moons in orbit around a greater being. A grander thing.
"He'll be an interesting part of the party tonight," he said slowly, tasting his words, "Better to ripen him up than to let him simmer in this blind hope for a better tomorrow. After all, Melany never really lets go of what is hers. He's a fun catch though. Have your own fill of entertainment yet?"
A peel of laughter, honey-sweet. Poisonous.
"That little monstrosity of yours had someone he cared about, didn't he?" Thorne tilted his head, amused. "You were sure given an interesting one by the Madam, weren't you? Are you glad to be free for a night? Anymore lives to ruin just yet?"

25/25 | Shiloh Beaumont (masked) | He could weep in joy. But he won't
"Oh god, did he." Shiloh's voice became thick with disgust. Sure, Shiloh cared about certain people, but to play host to such faux affection for so long—to receive it in full—was revolting.
"He'd barely known the kid for more than a month," he snorted, "And yet they were damn near balls deep in each other at any given time. It's repulsive."
But it made sense in the end. "Weaker beings need each other for support," he mused, "Jamie would be nothing without me. I almost feel bad." his voice became sympathetic in the same way that one changes the channel when an animal abuse commercial comes on.
"Believe me," he went on, tone shifting again to delight, "Freedom could not have come any faster. Call it laziness, but I enjoy having a night to finally relax." Sure, he wanted to ruin Chris' day and maybe those two old assholes if he ever got the chance, but he only had so much energy. "Besides, it's always more fun to watch you dig your claws into whatever prey crosses you. I never cared for getting my hands dirty."

Thorne (Masked) | | 25/25 | | Making an offer
"Mmm," Thorne replied. It was noncommital. The sort of sound a sleeping beast made. It wasn't that he was tired. Exhaustion was something that Melany beat into the back of his mind long ago. Something easily forgotten. When there were so many things to do, what was sleep but a nuisance?
"Sounds absolutely tragic," Thorne drawled. "You should have seen the mess of mine. He was a mood-board of <******** off but he just couldn't say it out loud." Thorne grinned, mild. There was an absent disgust in his voice, like he was talking about rotting food or vomit someone had left on the floor.
"Almost," he echoed, and tilted his head. "Well, you always did prefer a different sort of mess than me." He clicked his tongue. Once, twice. Three times. His eyes lidded and he purred, letting the sound bleed between them both.
"As do I, at least before the festivities pick up. The guests don't seem to understand their place." He rumbled. Thoughtful. "It's more entertainment than I get playing pretend. Limits, you know? That place is full of them. Limits and laws." His smile lit his face a second time, amused.
"Have you set your eyes on anyone tonight?" He asked. "Anyone that I should play with for you?"
