As you walk through the dark forest, noticing the deadly plants all along a path way you discovered, something seems wrong. As you walk around a bend in the path, you gasp at what has been spotted, your heart thundering in your chest. What could it be? A darkened, well kept Temple sits before you.
In curiousity, you step forward, noticing the dark cast to the bricks and the wood. Stepping up and walking in, you follow the hall to the end, noticing a dark cherry wood alter sitting at the end of the main hall in front of a Throne, carved with the faces of nocturnal creatures, and night time plants. Sitting upon this alter are bouquets of nightshade, offerings to her.
As you peer through the darkened room, you notice a pair of glowing eyes staring back at you from the top of the Throne. A soft giggle floats through the darkness as something creeps down the side of the Throne before coming to sit fully in it. Congratulations, the Goddess of those of the night is paying attention to you.
Welcome to the Temple of Ratri, Goddess of FaeBats.
Throne room: When in a good mood you will find her sitting upon a gold and ivory throne with moonshade flowers growing around her, the night soft and gently showing through a hole in the roof to let in the sky. On her bad nights you might find the throne black with silver nightshade decorated all around it and black vines climbing over the walls, the moon eclipsed and leaving all in dark but for a few candles on her alter.
