Now that they were back at the Prytaneum, things were quiet while everyone recovered from their injuries. Mercy expected to be just as injured, only she wasn't and she certainly had no problems with that outcome. Right now, she was more concerned for her roommate, not that she didn't doubt he could take care of himself but she didn't see him AT ALL during the battle in the Alps which was very troublesome for her. She didn't want to find out she didn't have a roommate any longer, especially since she didn't even get to know the guy all that well. Mercy paused her game and stood up, walking through the bathroom to knock on Edward's door, make sure he was still alive and not some sort of Zombie Ares chosen thingy since every mythology had zombies and clearly if a chosen died becoming a zombie would be the most logical thing for them to do. Since chosen were rare, the Gods would want to make sure they would still get some use out of them right? Hades probably hated her right now. "Edward? You alive mah dude?" She tilted her head and pulled up her Deadpool pajama pants since they were too long for her right now [ ahhh shopping in the men's section was amazing and sad at the same time... ]

Edward, having been conked in the head by a very large chunk of ice after the speakers had blared into life on the slopes, had missed a considerable chunk of things. He'd woken up again to a giant bird trying to eat them all, managed to function well enough to offer some small manner of assistance, and had been thrilled by the prospect of crawling into bed the second they'd arrived back and he'd been cleared medically. That was where he was when Mercy's knock echoed softly through his quiet room. It made him grunt, shadowed eyes opening slowly to stare blearily into the room before rolling towards the door to the shared bathroom. There was the sound of movement, things shuffling aorund, and then the door opened to reveal a shirtless, slightly bruised, raccoon-eyed bouncer. "Mostly alive. What's up?" He sounded a little cranky, but the yawn that followed probably gave away that he'd been sleeping before she'd decided to check in on him

She was totally was expecting a zombie with the way Edward was grunting behind the door (although it couldve been something else, but she refused to think about such things right now), perhaps he was dinning on some poor little bird's brains instead? Either way, when Edward answered the door, she was NOT expecting to get an eyeful of awesome naked man chest. Why is it that every time she met a male Ares, they had to be shirtless or showing some sort of muscle? Mercy reluctantly moved her eyes from the sight of Edward's chest to his face, eyes widening with concern. "Damn....Are you okay?" She resisted the urge to reach up and touch the darker part of his eye, frowning. "Want me to go get you an ice pack? Where were you when we went to the Alps bro?"

He blinked down at her owlishly, as if he wasn't sure what the hell she was talking about. He hadn't gotten hit in the face, it was the back of his head... Then it clicked, and he leaned around her, glancing at the mirror. "Oh, no, it's not that kind of bruising." An injury had been the cause, just not the injury Mercy assumed. "My eyes are fine, but thank you." Her concern was appreciated, and also drew his attention a little more sharply onto her, gaze trailing up her figure as he looked for obvious injuries. "I was there, but apparently I kept missing everyone I'm familiar with." His shoulders came up in a small shrug, and a hand dropped to the waist of his flannels, tugging them up an inch or so on his hips. "Part of that could have been having been knocked out after the speakers went off."

Her head tilted to the side, eyes showing a mixture of relief and amusement. "You were knocked out? Ick...Im sorry." And she really was too. Since she was here...Mercy tilted her head to the side, around him, to see what his room looked like. She was curious. "Are you okay for company maybe?" She shifted from foot to foot, looking around. She could understand if he didnt sant company or anything givien his injuries but she reallg wanted to get to know her roomie. "I do have some board games or maybe I could fill you in on what happened from my perspective?"

Having just woken up, he didn't seem very aware of her amusement, or the way her attention seemed to settle on his bare torso before sliding back up. He was busy stifling a yawn against the back of his hand before her question forced him back to attention. "Company?" It took a moment to click. "Oh. Uh." Did he? He wasn't even sure. "I guess so." He had wanted to get to know more people around here. Brushing fingers back through sleep tussled hair, Edward stepped back to allow Mercy entry. His room was neat, personal effects not quite set out. The room looked lived in, but not personalized yet. Over all neat and tidy, save the bed he'd obviously crawled from.

She didn't think he would even agree, it was quite shocking to her. Mercy smiled and jerked her thumb back towards her room. "Ill go get a couple of board games unless you have a movie or something in mind?" She would be up for anything, to be honest. Getting to know her roomie would be like an achivement~ Plus there is the added factor of making a new friend to hang out and chill with. "I've got....Monopoly, Life, Cards Against Humanity, Plain old cards for speed or solitaire, Cranium, mmmm....I think that's it. I've also got some scary movies and such plus an Xbox one and a Netflix account if you were looking for something other than tits and gore." she snorted at that last bit trying to remain as mature as possible. "if there was a shooting range around here I would offer that as well." Sparing would be a thing, but given Edward's appearance, that didn't seem likely for a long time.

She had way too much energy, or at least that was how Ed was feeling right that moment. He still felt groggy, his mind running at half the speed it should have been. It took a moment for him to process everything she'd just said, and a moment longer to form a series of responses. "I don't have anything in my room that could play a movie." He had forgotten his laptop at home, and had not yet made plans to return. He was waiting for the fogginess in his head to settle first. Next weekend, perhaps. "I'm not sure I could manage a game at the moment, but if you have netflix, I think that'd be doable." They didn't have to be in Ed's room, Her's would do just fine. So long as she didn't mind if he claimed a section of the bed in the name of comfort. Gun shots probably would have killed him.

"Alright, I can do that...If you'll follow me~" She wasn't expecting to have any company in her room if she were to be honest with herself, but since she wasn't exactly a messy person, there was nothing for Mercy to worry about as far as appearances go. She didn't bring EVERYTHING she had from home, just whatever she could manage to gather just before heading out the first time. She pointed to the bed "You're more than welcome to sit down while I get things set up. Any movie you want to see or haven't seen yet?" Hopefully, the lights were soft enough that it wouldn't make things worse for him. She didn't really like using the lights that came with the room anyway since her lights were bright enough to allow her to see things but not give her headaches. Eventually, she would have to see about making a trip back home to get the rest of her stuff, or to buy some more in a nearby town. For now, this would have to do. She was missing her BB-8 plush, though. Beejoux The bed, lights and the quote on the wall are all she has. The dresser and the other set of pictures on the wall, as well as the TOM flag, are not there.

He glanced around the room as she beckoned him inside, noting the differences between her attempts to make things more personal, and his completely lack of care in that regard. Later, he'd worry about making things more homie. Right now it still didn't quite feel real yet, and their trip to the alps helped him realize how temporary their time here might be. Her bed felt like his when he sank down on the edge of it, then slid back until his back was resting against the wall. A conscious attempt to stay awake, at least at first. But because of just how tired he was, there was every chance of him dozing off again. Also, for that reason, he didn't have a preference for what they'd be watching. "Whatever you feel like watching is fine." Mercy was, now that they'd passed that initial exchange in the bathroom, turning out to be a perfectly pleasant roommate. There was the occasional shouted explicitive at odd hours, but he assumed those were slips, and fueled by whatever game she happebed to be playing. It didn't hurt, either, that she was damn easy on the eyes. And that seemed to be a bit of a trend among the chosen.

Since the ball was in her court, Mercy had decided to think of what movie she wanted to watch. She grabbed her controller and made her way back towards the bed, tilting her head at how Edward looked. "I'll be right back~" Having your back against the wall can become painful at times when watching a movie, so Mercy decided to go grab an extra pillow from her closet, holding onto it while she climbed onto the opposite side of her bed. "Here, for your back. Just let me know if you need to lay down, I got ya covered." She set up the movie and crossed her legs, grabbing the pillow on the other side of her that wasn't taken, holding it close while the movie began. "I'm gonna apologize now...I tend to jump sometimes. Not a screamer, but still, I didn't want to startle you~"

The offered pillow was taken with a grateful smile, and he sat forward enought o tuck it behind him. It was certainly more comfortable, but it wasn't going to help him stay awake, that was for sure. "I hope you realize that I'll probably fall asleep at some point, so you better be alright with that." He gave her thigh a small poke as she sank down on the bed opposite him, and as if on cue, had to raise that same hand up to stifle a yawn. Head cocked in her direction, he lifted a brow at her. "Does that mean we're watching a horror flick, then?" By her explanation, it would certainly seem so.

She already had a feeling he would fall asleep, which was okay by her. She would just have to give up her bed for a bit to let him sleep for awhile. Mercy jumped a bit and smiled at the poke to her thigh, selecting The Conjuring 2 and scooting back a bit towards the wall. She gave Ed a big cheesy grin before confirming; "Yep~ I haven't seen the Conjuring 2 yet but the first one was the s**t. I loved it!" She would watch any movie as long as it wasn't any of the Paranormal activity shitfests. Ugh, those were laughable, but she hated mockumentaries.

Ed hadn't seen either movie, but that really didn't matter, since he really didn't think he'd make it that far into it. Whatever Mercy wanted to watch was fine. He just hoped she was a kind woman, and wasn't the sort to take advantage of a guy when he passed out. He didn't see a sharpie lying around, but that didn't mean she didn't have one. "I apologize in advance if I snore. You can just elbow me in the ribs if it's distracting." It had never been 100% confirmed whether or not he did snore, but there was a chance. Some of his exs said he was a buzz saw, some said they never heard a peep out of him.

Mercy was mean, but she wasn't so mean as to draw on some one's face with permanent ink while they were sleeping AND injured. She wouldn't want it done to her, so why would she do it to someone else? She was about to wave her hand at the snoring when a jump scare involving a crazy looking doll got to her first, making her squeak while she gave her pillow a tight squeeze. "S'ok, I won't mind. I can easily ignore snoring." At least it wasn't like the time she had to endure her neighbors screwing loudly even though her apartment had some pretty thick walls. "If anything, the snoring will keep me from getting too immersed in the movie and you won't have to find me clinging to you in the middle of the night because I saw some scary a** doll~"
