Personality: Kukiko is a caring girl. Raised by a loving mother and dotting father, she tends to care for almost every person she meets. She is also a bit curious about the outside world; being locked away in the same home for 15 years can do that to you. Although she usually has good intentions Kukiko is too trusting. She tries to help people who need it but some usually use her kindness and take it for gratitude.
History: Before Kukiko was born, her mother Rai Yano was hostess in her uncle's sushi restaurant in Osaka, Japan. Rai's mother left after she was just a week old leaving her father to raise her alone. Doing his best Rai grew up happy and healthy, everything seemed perfect at the time. That was until Rai was 13. After having an argument with her father and storming out of the house, Rai found herself alone in a nearby park
"Stupid old man" she thought "Why can't be like every other father and just let me go out for once". As Rai sat there she thought back to the last time she and her father had an argument, back when she was 8 she really wanted to stay up to watch a TV show but her father wouldn't let her. After a few minutes a bickering Rai yelled at her father "I wish I had a mommy instead of you!" She scream, running off to her room. Rai laughed "I was so angry back then I must have been such a brat". Rai sat in silence for a few moments "Even though I said those mean words to him the next day he made me my favorite pancakes and took me out to the park". A noise of child laughing caught Rai's attention; looking up Rai saw a father and daughter going down the slide together, laughing and enjoying their time together.
Rai quickly got up "I have apologize to him, I have to go back". Turning around Rai ran out of the park and down the block. As she ran she saw fire trucks driving down the street and turning on her block "Please let father be okay" She thought. Running around the corner Rai saw what she feared the most. Her home was on fire; lit up like a candle "Father!!" She screamed. Rai ran in to the crowd, making her way up front "Let me through! Let me through! That's my home!". Rai made it to the front; she tried to go over the barrier "Whoa miss you can't go in there" An officer said pushing her back "Officer you don't under stand that's my home"She wheezed. The officer gave her a sorry look "Well I'm sorry miss but the house is up in flames it's too dangerous to go in there, not even our fire fighters can make it through". Rai stopped squirming and looked around the crowd "Where is father" She thought. Looking around Rai couldn't find her father anywhere 'Maybe he's out looking for me" But Rai saw the car still parked next to the meter across the street. Rai looked back at the house "Father!" She yelled "Officer my father is still in there". The officer's eyes got wide "Are you sure?" "Yes our car is still parked over there" .
The officer thought for a few moments, taking his walkies talkie "Alright listen up we have a civilian inside, I repeat we have a civilian inside" He said. Rai watched at fire fighter went around her house trying to find away in, while a few stayed in front hosing the fire down.
"I see someone in the back window" A voice over the walkie talkie said "We're going in". A few moments of silence fell on the walkie talkie "We're to late he's gone." Rai stepped back, falling on her knees.
Rai doesn't remember much that happened after that it was mostly a blur. Within the next few months Rai lost her home and everything in it. One of the fire fighters were kind enough to grab a photo of her and her father before the house burned down. Being that her mother was gone and can't be found; her only living relative was her uncle Shimo and his family. They were decent people but they weren't very loving towards her. She stayed there until she was 20. It was at the restraint
