 Bridgette grinned really happy that Tam has seen one of the kids. "Nice job Tam! These kids are seriously fast. I hope we can catch them soon." She smiled more and walked over to the other hybrid and offered her hand. "Hi I'm Bridgette its a pleasure to meet you. I'm sorry I didn't introduce myself earlier." She nodded her head and frowned. "Do you need help?" She looked over at Coralie. "Did you happen to have another walking stick to help out?" She was worried this one had a injury or something else bad. She looked around more flicking her ears to try to catch any sounds that might be the kids. She kept taking deep breaths to try to catch their scent and then took some fast shallow breaths to see if that would help or not. She kept looking around her ears moving a lot to try to catch any sounds they might make.

 Aurora wiped her face off, it was amazing how fast these kids were, she once again wished that she could fix her ankle. Aurora sighed if wishes were horses everyone would ride. Aurora held the walking stick in her hand, grateful for the team that had come together, Tam, Corelie and Bridgette were really kind to Aurora and Rei who had also gotten hurt. Aurora got up to go look for another walking stick for Rei, after all just because she was hurt didn't mean she was going to quit on her team. Aurora started looking for a thick sturdy branch that would make a good walking stick. She leaned on her own walking stick, so she would stop putting so much weight on her own hurt ankle.

"Yeah I have a second stick," she offered it to Bridgette, then going for her journal and writing utensil. With the stick out of her hand now, she found a place to sit and began to write up another entry.
Entry 3
So we braved the hike to the barrier. We had to survive falling rocks, bees, and falling. I was lucky enough to not get hurt, but a few others were not as lucky. Aurora for example could of possibly sprained her ankle, and is making it worse by walking around on it still. Tambre is trying to help her with that, and I even found a walking stick so it could help her keep off it better.
When we came to the barrier, I was partnered up with Callixtus, and we both didn't have any trouble getting through. A few others took quite a while, but we all managed to get through.
Then a thought occurred to her. Should she write up how Tomoe had brought down the barrier and asked them to help find the kids they had lost? Coralie decided it was best not to write those details down for now, as to try and keep Tomoe safe if this journal were to be found out by their village.
Now we are walking around and trying to see what we can find. At the moment we are resting for the sake of Aurora and Rei, which I feel the two of them are appreciating! I am as well, since I do have that injured ankle from a trip a while back. However, it isn't acting up as much as I thought it would. Perhaps it is getting better?

"Rei..." She replied with a soft smile that faltered only when she attempted to step forwards. At this rate, she was hurting it more despite her attempts to put minimal pressure on it.
"I do not...have a stick...." She admitted, again leaning onto a tree. Her gaze shifted to Tambre as she winced once more. "I slipped...on the boulders....back a ways."

Bridgette beamed at Coralie and bounced a bit happy about that. "Oh good!" She took the stick from Coralie and nodded. "Thank you so much!" She went over to the other injured one in their group and held out the stick to them. "Here you go. This should help you." She smiled and kept it held out hoping it could actually help. She kept clicking her ears around wanting to hear those kids and to find them. The sooner they found them the sooner they could take them back to Tomeo and Tomeo could calm down or be happy about the kids being found and no longer running around loose. She kept taking in breaths to try to catch that strange scent. She sighed really waning to find these kids they wee so crazy fast maybe some sort of trap would help to keep and catch them? "It's nice to keep you Rei and I hope this will help

Aurora came back to and smiled at Rei "Don't feel bad, I hurt my ankle doing the same thing." Aurora said with a bittersweet laugh. "I'm Aurora." Aurora then took her flashlight and searched the darkness again, hoping to catch sight of the kids, or maybe next time they could brainstorm a trap of some sort. Aurora rubbed her eyes this was certainly a crazy, amazing journey. Aurora would have a lot to write about when she got back to her bookshop.

After finishing her entry and putting it back in her bag, Coralie began to look through her bag for something sweet to eat. Children like sweets, so maybe that would be something to attract them closer? Only one way to find out "Anyone have something sweet, like chocolate or marshmallows from when we camped? I can't seem to find any, only granola bars and healthy trail mix."

"Um...well..."
Leaning on her new walking stick- after thoroughly thanking those around her for it- Rei fished in her backpack, producing a bag filled with something colorful!
"I have...fruit...they look like candy....and they taste very...sweet to me...perhaps we could...use them?" She inquired, offering the bag out to whomever wanted to nab it.

In a flash of color the bag vanished from Rei's hand.
The culprit was a colorful and familiar child, who had landed a few feet away from the group. The bag was held in their mouth like a feral animal, hands reaching up to grab the bag and raise it to their nose for a quick sniff. Looking at Rei, they gave a playful wink.
"Thanks for the snack!" They called before fleeing into the darkness. Damn. A good bag of snacks now wasted.
The group has successfully spotted Naoki!
