 Aurora smiled Bridgette had caught sight of one of the kids, thank goodness since Aurora hadn't been having any luck with her sore ankle it was really good that she had teammates who were healthy and fast enough to keep up with these nutty kids, Aurora wondered if they were kitsunes with magic and skills that were helping them to avoid detection from the group. Perhaps though it was her imagination and reading to many books, for all Aurora knew kitsunes were just myths, nothing more than ancient folklore, on the other hand, she was a grimm and her kind had once been thought to been long gone, so anything was possible.

 Bridgette was just so relieved to have seen one of the kids and know it was unharmed. The kid was so cute but she couldn't catch it. The kid had been so fast and she wasn't really sure how it was able to get away. She was pretty fast too but it seemed she hadn't been fast enough. She shook her head and sighed. It was time to start to search again. Maybe they would even be able to see the other kid. That would be nice. She smiled and closed her eyes trying to catch that strange scent again but this time it seemed a bit harder. She frowned and kept looking around. She looked over to make sure Aurora was okay since she knew the other was injured.

After catching up whatever group she spotted first, Rei hobbled along behind them, every once in a while stopping to take a breath and take weight off her injured ankle.
At least she could add her eyesight to the group. Seeing in the dark came rather easily, and she would be sure to alert the group to anything! Granted, the twinges of pain she felt...Well, her eyes weren't as good as they could be this night.
"Anything...?" Rei questioned the group just before her as she leaned against a tree to catch her breath.

Aurora saw someone coming out of the darkness and heard what she said. "Bridgette spotted one of them a little bit ago, we are hoping eventually they tired themselves out and stop running sooner or later." Aurora said with a sighed. "Doing this on a bum ankle isn't easy as I'm sure you know." Aurora looked around looking for a cave to see if she could find one of them hiding out somewhere nearby. "I'm Aurora, somewhere around here Tambre, Fidel and Coralie are looking as well."

Bridgette looked over at the new person and waved. "Not yet. Saw one of them a bit ago and they were fast! Trying to catch their scent again. I'm Bridgette by the way. It's nice to meet you." She smiled and frowned when she heard what Aurora said. "If you need breaks let us know. There's no use in you hurting your ankle more. Maybe you can help me try to scent them out. It's kind of hard though. Their scent is nothing I've smelled before so I have to keep forcing myself to focus and stuff." She smiled hopefully and kept looking around hoping to spot one of them again. Her eyes darted around as she spotted them. There! She tried to follow the kid but again it was too fast.

"I...fully understand...Heh."
Pushing herself off a tree...Rei thumped the trunk with her tail. She did this to every tree she passed, as if trying to flush something out of them.
"Rei...I hope we...can find these....children and bring...them back." She hoped she was heard, but her priority was the children.

It seemed Rei had thumped the wrong tree! When their tail collided with a rather large one they were met with something hard thrown at them. A rock? What was a rock doing in a tree? Luckily, questions were answered as two very large and very angry blue eyes peeked from the tree.
"I was trying to nap!" Came a tiny and offended voice. However, it seemed to hear something, ears perking up and body going still. Oh no. No way, he wasn't getting caught today! Before anyone could react the child was bolting from tree to tree, losing the group in the darkness.
The group has successfully spotted Naoki!
