❧ Personality -- ●○● Ursa is vengeful, dark, cold, cunning and spiteful. Her life, and death for that matter, were not pleasing, and since she is forced to live in eternal agony, Ursa wants to share that with the world. Ursa is a hot head, and not just because her body is literally made of lava, but because she's quick to anger and rushes to do everything.
❧ Biography -- ●○● Ursa is a pet-name given to a sweet Greek girl in a well off family who's real name was Umay. Ursa lived in a small city with her parents and twin brothers. Once, during the city week long festival, Ursa met and fell in love with a nobleman's son, Vernados. Ursa was finally in her marrying age, and was dressed in her best clothes, made by her mother's very hand. Attracted to her beauty, strength, and bemused by her pet-name, Vernados courted and proclaimed his love for her. Being sheltered her whole life, Ursa did not see this as a false song and dance and unfortunately fell for the boy. Tragedy struck when Vernados, on his way to meeting with Ursa, was struck and nearly killed by wagons. While the parents of the two children were appalled, Ursa was driven to despair and one night she received a vision from what she thought was a goddess: Narissa. The "goddess" made a deal with the girl: Narissa would give Ursa a potion, if the boy gave her the kiss of love, Ursa would be happy to live with him and her family forever. If his words were not true, Ursa would sacrifice her life for his in servitude forever. Certain of their love, Ursa raced to Vernados' side, and while surrounded by both families, cured him of his afflictions. It was revealed that he never cared about her, and although he apologized for betraying her feelings, it didn't matter: Ursa had lost her freedom. Narissa was revealed to be a witch who worked for a demon who was to be addressed as Himself. Narissa showed up and then engulfed Ursa in a crystalline flame, where her transition to a lava riddled demon began. And so, for generations, her family family prays for her soul to be released from this torment. Ursa does not feel she is redeemable. She seems to hate everyone equally and has only a bit of love for the dragon, Ifrit, who never leaves her side.
