Popple dragged her little feet across the floor of her and her twinnie's bedroom until she reached the edge of her bed. The little grimmlin was tired of the day and flopped onto her bed most unceremoniously. Doing as such sent her stuffed animals flying all over the place, and even a few bounced before falling to the floor. On a normal day, Popple would leave them alone, but since she was feeling rather crappy right now, she went hopped up and grabbed her poor little plushies from the place they landed. Her arms wrapped around them tightly as her eyes teared up. It was a very rare occasion that she felt bad about herself, and today happened to be one such day.The pink lil grimmlin pulled herself up onto the edge of her bed carefully this time, but even then, as she settled back down on her bed, she noticed something about one of her poor plushies! It had a rip! "Awww man! Nooo!" she let out, falling into a teary eyed fit. Why was this crap happening today of all days?! School sucked, she tripped at lunch and all her food fell on the floor, plus she got saddled with a super lame essay. There was all that stuff, on top of the fact that she just felt really badly about herself today. Flopping lightly on her side, she cuddled the ripped toy closely. "It'll be okay lil guy..." but those words were mostly to try and encourage herself.
As Popple lay there, her little tail flicked and flopped on the surface of her bedspread. As it did so, her eyes narrowed. The lack of fluff on her tail made her angry. Why couldn't she have fluff like her twinnie? In an attempt to brush off her jealous fit, Popple pushed herself up and sniffled before going to the closet and digging around for her little sewing kit. She had a little someone to fix up and needed to try and get rid of those butthurt feelings she had going on. The grimmlin plunked herself back down on her bed again and began to dig about her supplies to gather what was needed to fix the poor plushie in distress!
It took some time, but when all was said and done, Popple held her plushie up and examined her handy work. Not that was some good stitch work if she said so herself! Which she did... in her head anyways. Giving a pleased nod, the grimmlin hugged her toy before setting it on her bed. Hmmmm... Wouldn't it be something for her to fix animals for real? Her family had so many pets and it was always something else when they got into trouble and hurt. Maybe doing something like that would be cool when she got older. After all... she was forever around all sorts of critters! Plus her daddu took care of people, so they really needed someone who could take care of their precious pets!
T'was something to maul over, anyways! She was now distracted by her naked tail again and decided it was time to do something about it! Back to the closet she went to try and find some things she could use to give herself some fluff!
