Name: Jason Wolf

Nickname: Jase, blondie

Age: 16

Birthday: April 14th

Sign: Aries

Gemstone: Diamond

Blood Type: A+

Fav. Food: Cheesy dishes, such as quiches.

Hated Food: Anything with beans, cauliflower, liver.

School: Azure Valley Academy

Hobbies:

Astronomy: Often times Jason can be seen outside with a telescope looking out at the stars on clear nights or early in the morning. He doesn’t stay out too late, but he’s had to put an alarm on his phone to remind himself when it is getting too late. In California he could look from his own backyard as they were far enough from the city to have a clear view, unobstructed by city lights. He will also read about stars and the constellations during school too. Surprisingly he’s made quite a few friends doing this, though some of them not interested in astrology, but he isn’t so obsessed to where he’s unwilling to socialize at night. Often times he’s thrown small astrology gatherings for his friends back in California so they would have a chance to look through his telescope or just hang around with each other and talk to each other.

Outdoors: Often goes camping for his astrology trips, but like his brother he really likes the outdoors. If he can go out and tough it out in the woods for a few days he won’t pass up the chance. He even started an outdoors appreciation club at his school so that he and other fellow enthusiasts could go out camping, hiking, etc. together, though with adult supervision of course. He was even able to create and fund a trip to Yellowstone for two weeks during the summer. Although he has traveled all over California hiking and camping he has wanted to travel to other states to explore the outdoors too. He sometimes hikes by himself, just so that he can get a bit closer with nature, but he knows that it’s better to do these activities with other people. Not only is it safer but it’s always nice to get together with others who appreciate the outdoors.

Soccer: Loves the sport, starting with seeing how much fun his brother was having with it. His favorite position is a defender and although some may find it boring if their team is doing too well against their opponents, he likes the thrill of being the last line of ‘defense’ against the ball reaching and going into the goal. He won’t say he’s the most amazing player of all time; he does have some confidence in his skills. And whether his team wins or loses, as long as he did his best he’ll say it was a good game.

Virtues:

Amiable: It’s pretty simple for Jason to make friends. He has such an easygoing manner that it makes it easy for others to approach him even if they don’t know him too well. He’s willing to listen to those who want to talk to him and make conversation to those who may be looking for a friend but are too shy to speak up. Of course he respects other’s feelings and will take the hint if he knows that someone doesn’t want to be approached. But with his friendly manner he has gained quite a few friends and hopes he can make more in D.C. Tends not to listen to rumors or gossip about others

Impartial: Jason tends not to judge others or situations prematurely. He likes to get all of the facts from both sides, if possible, before coming to a decision and so he doesn’t participate in gossip or rumors that may be spreading around about someone. Even if it’s towards people he doesn’t particularly like, he will give them the same impartial treatment that he gives others. He knows that sometimes if you don’t have all of the facts first, if you punish someone who may be innocent then they might not be able to recover from it. And even if the rumors are true, unless they are truly harmful, he knows that humans are prone to problems and won’t judge anyone for them.

Flaws:

Follow the Leader: While Jason is quite self-confident and happy, he tends to defer to others more often than not. He has ideas himself, but if someone feels more confident about their plan or what they should do as friends as a group, he usually follows what they want. Unless asked or no one else having an idea, he will stay silent whether he agrees to the idea or not. This is a habit that he picked up from his hero-worship of his older brother.

Secretive: It takes quite a bit of poking and prodding by others to get him to open up about any negative feelings he has. Even his own family has had trouble with this. Jason wants to cause as little trouble and hurt feelings as possible so he tends to hide anything that may be perceived as negative or disagreeing with others to himself. He has been like this ever since he was a small child and looking up to his brother so much caused him to learn to hold his feelings back. His brother really doesn’t like him locking up his feelings so much and has been quite sad that Jason refuses to talk to him about any problems he has. This has caused problems with friendships too because he won’t say if someone is bothering him until someone else starts to complain about them.

Knight Title: Alphubel, Page of Polaris

Challenge: "For the Protection of Polaris!”, maybe something different later

Uniform:
Color 1: Here
Color 2: Here
Colors are from the Polaris Swatch and Gradiant. The second is from two of the swatch colors being blended.

For his Page stage
Top -- Simple Robe, perhaps fur-lined, Robe should be fully closed! Not partially opened or a split in the middle thing, but a full you have to put this over your head to put it on thing. Symbol could also be a pattern on the robe.
Bottoms -- Pants
Gloves -- Yep
Belt -- Simple belt
Shoes -- Boots
Shoulders -- Sort of a fuzz shoulder wrap, if not then a wrapped scarf
Accessories -- Scarf should cover mouth, and make it a bit fuzzy on the sides and ends. A symbol of Polaris can be shown on the scarf or somewhere on the robe or the belt or all of them.

This is for what I would like his Knight form to look like or at least as close as it can
Top -- Robe. Side, back, front, this robe would have some layers though as can be seen in the images
Bottoms -- Pants
Gloves -- glove 1, glove 2
Belt -- Belt, somewhat of a wrap around the waist
Shoes -- Boots
Shoulders -- Fuzzy wuzzy wraps such as this 1, this 2, or making the head piece (see accessory images) bottom fuzzy/furry
Accessories -- head piece front, head piece side, head piece back, could put the sign for Polaris on the end like on the head piece

Weapon & Magic
Page Weapon: Small circular glass lens such as this

Squire: Weapon: Railroad lantern, held in the hand, such as that more in the shape of the Polaris symbol and with the lenses containing the Polaris symbol
Magic: Channels light from the lantern that makes enemies confused on who they should attack/cannot tell who their allies are for up to 35 seconds by the light emanating from it. The effect of the magic goes to a maximum of 8 feet around the user.

Knight Weapon: Weapon: A staff that looks a lot like a fancy lamp post with a railroad lantern* shape at the top of it, but looking more like the Polaris symbol at the top or looking like a giant crystal, and having 4 distinct sides with 4 lenses. The lantern does not hang off!
Magic: He channels light to show from the staff that makes enemies confused on who they should attack/cannot tell who their allies are for up to 50 seconds by the light emanating from it. The effect of the magic goes to a maximum of 12 feet around the user.

Summons -- N/A for now

If you believe that my character in ANY way could be similar to someone else's to the point where they accuse me of copying off of them please tell me how I can change it! This can mean weapon, magic, outfit, etc.

All right that should be it for now. Of course as I said if I have anything that could be taken as copying from someone else, please tell me and I'm not too good on spells so if the one I have down is wrong, I could use some guidance on that.

Hey, SS!

Jason's civ side looks good, though one minor quibble in the hobbies - what you're describing is astronomy, not astrology! (Astrology is horoscopes and other star-based divination.)

However, his powered side will need some tweaks. Knight magic works a little differently than other classes - both in how it's designed and how it's used.

So, design -- Knight magic must follow the themes of the planet, which for Polaris are "magnetism, diplomacy, guidance"! I can kind of possibly see "guidance" in the powerset you have written for him, but the connection would need to be much clearer. I'm happy to work with you on power, of course!

Second, Knight magic isn't "cast and go" the way Senshi magic is; Knight magic is actively channelled, and can be turned off and on. They operate out of a magic pool, instead of a number of uses, effectively! So, think of seconds in a Knight's magic pool as points in an RPG mana pool; you can cat up to the number of points/seconds you have, but then it runs out! Becvause Knight magic operates in this specific way, usage limits are usually worded a certain way -- grabbing examples from a couple of my own Knights so you can see what I'm talking about, since I know this can be one of the fiddliest parts of writing Knight magic!

Aokigahara Squire
Aokigahara can channel for up to 30 seconds at this stage.

Eleusis Squire
Eleusis can channel for 30 seconds total at the Squire stage.

Mycenae Squire
Mycenae's magic pool is 35 seconds at Squire.

Basically, as long as the wording of the magic indicates an "up to" in some form, it's good! There should be a hard maximum, but it can be divided however the Knight wishes during a battle.

Quote me if you hae questions or once you've made change and I'll be back!

Derp mistake on the astronomy thing xp

Anyway, changed the magic, hopefully I've made it more into a guidance thing, but if you think it is too powerful/has more than one power (though I tried to word it so that they basically do the same thing) then please tell me!

Also tried to word it that he could channel it to have light show from it if that's better.

Unfortunately yeah, his magic has two effects, since it's both helping allies and hindering enemies (so a buff AND a debuff), and that's not going to work, sorry! I'd reccomend going for the misguiding enemies effect, since that's a little more concrete/potentially useful than guiding allies; also, ten seconds at Squire is rather short, but 60 seconds at Knight is a bit long -- I'd reccomend 35 and 50 seconds, respectively!

What you have written looks good to me but I just have one question! In the Squire and Knight magic it doesn't mention how large of a radius the light from the lantern can reach to affect enemies! This can be a really easy fix and I can drop a stamp, but it just needs to say how close enemies have to be for the magic to take affect!

I would suggest possibly eight feet for Squire and twelve feet for Knight, but f you have something else in mind, please let me know! Give me a quote and I'll be back as soon as possible!
