Sage tagged along Thyme as they scouted their terrain. He'd grown a little more bold in leaving where their mother had set them and pushed the boundaries til he found himself and his brother on another adventure. His gangly legs were no longer shaky and wobbly and he strode out ahead looking back at his darker brother with a lopsided grin. it seemed to run in the family, that grin. his father had it, their half brother Shilo had it.
"Lets not get lost this time kay thyme?" Their first big adventure, all three brothers had found themselves in quite the pickle. They'd gotten lost some how and had to be found by their older sibling. This was admittedly their first real adventure since and Bay wasn't able to come. It was a little sad but well, he had his own things to worry over right?
His stride picked up, ending in a trot with his tail flagged up behind him. He went ahead, boldly seeking adventure till he came to a brook. It wasn't very big and didn't look very deep at all but still it bubbled and seemed to laugh as it tumbled and flowed over the stones and other things laying at it's bottom. stopping, he took a few steps back and taking a running start he leaped into the air only to come crashing down into the very center of the brook.
The water was chilly and bit at his legs. It wasn't too deep at all where he was. Barely brushing the underside of his belly really. Still it was a shocking difference from the heat that had been lingering around them today. "It's nice and cold Thyme!" He bellowed as he sloshed around in the water tossing his head about and laughing deeply. "Come on in! You can cool off and play all at the same time!" His tail flicked and wiggled as he grinned wider at his brother. It really was a nice find. Cool crisp running water, and not so deep you couldn't play. Lowering his head, he watched the mud swells from where he'd disturbed the floor of the book. he could still feel the stones and pebbles under his hooves and every now and then he'd find a slick one causing him to stumble as he walked. Finally, he settled for waiting for his brother to join him. Once the water had started to clear again, he took a sip of the cool water, watching to make sure there would be no 'sneak attacks' from his sibling while his guard was lowered. After all, it wouldn't be good to wind up fully submerged in the water rather than only partially. No matter how refreshing the water felt, he wasn't ready to take a full on plunge.

Stepping outward with a whimsical approach Thyme was grateful they weren't going to be reprimanded for their adventures. Possibly depending on the severity yet they knew a bit better then to traverse outward without a plan this time around. Making their mother and father worry over them was something the bold foal didn't care for. Adventures were amazing while learning the ropes of galloping while getting lost in an unsuspecting area was a bit foreboding to him. Now standing there watching Rosemary he pondered if he should really wade into the cold water or not.
"You remember last time what happened when I fell in that cold water. I was cold for days" he shook his head looking at his brother with concern. Bubbling water though always intrigued the spirited colt to doing rash things as his wispy tail flicked back and forth. Motioning into a step forward his hoof submerged letting the chill of water soak into him again. Being spring days receding toward summer it wasn't as bad as his mind told him. Taking the next hoof he placed that inward repeating the same process till all four of his strong legs were rushed by with bubbling water.
Leaning his head downward the fox colored colt drank from the brook letting the coolness quench his thirst. Looking at his brother he pondered mischievousness then paused, "So, what do you think we'll find today?"
Grinning playfully he waited for his answer as a hoof pawed into the mud releasing the murky hued water mixed in mud. Without warning he playfully mae more mud swirls then laughed, "You like mud Sage?" Snorting he pranced about then tossed his head in the water splashing the brown mixture toward his brother. Never did a moment pass by when Thyme couldn't resist a moment of capricious nature whenever Sage was about. The siblings then would chase each other in and out of the brook or one would fall in. Thyme thought to himself it was Rosemary's turn since previously he had been the one to get dunked in that awful cold pond. Curiously, standing a distance away was another colt that graced Celendia's herd sometimes. Like the siblings he was a bit older but still gracing the world as a foal still new learning his surroundings. This particular fellow was playing with a butterfly blowing outward as it landed playfully on his nose. Blue orbs stared back at the little creature with generations before him both adventurous and ambitious in nature. His great grandmother was even said to fly in stories even if she carried no wings. His laughter was indeed whimsical as his nature was playful in no matter whatever he did. His namesake was an Elven tongue carrying him from moonbeams and overly imaginative muses much like his family.
"Really butterfly? Really you land on my nose in a game do you?" he laughed again blowing outward trying to get it to fly somewhere else. Suddenly, it flittered upward like the flutters back home then it disappeared. Looking around he was dumbstruck for a moment wondering where this perky little fellow had vanished to.
"Where did you go?" he asked turning his head this way then that.
As his head turned to look behind him there sat that little creature right on his rump its wings fanning inward and outward. Teíuivae then laughed shaking his head, "You are silly my friend".
Then he heard voices coming from the bubbling brook catching both his and the butterfly's attention. Perking his ears he caught scent of two colts playing in the water intriguing his curiosity. The butterfly on the other hand flittered off toward the opposite meadow knowing the colt had other things to contend with. "Goodbye butterfly" he mused then started trotting off toward the siblings having fun.Thyme wc: 349 Teíuivae wc: 287

Isolde had taken a moment o boldly wander from her brother's watchful care. It was a fairly easy task when she started asking how some of his contraptions worked. It never failed to spark Cad's enthusiasm for his work and thus her protective brother's careful watch would laps. it was his bunny Musette however that was the more difficult creature to give the slip. That blasted bunny was relentless.
She'd wanted more time to instigate, learn and play out right without being told she shouldn't bother because she was a filly still. He meant well her older brother, but she some times got the hint that He fawned on her overly much due to the age gap they shared. It was apparent that she and her brother Seren were considered great blessings to this family. They'd been told as much at least twice since emerging from their wicker prison. Their mother had had a complicated first time with her foals and thus the thought of them having more had been more of a question of if they could, that was until her wish had been granted by the mysterious star that night. It lead to both he and her brother's arrival for the family which made them all the more precious. Miracle bundles as her mother's familiar sweetly explained one night at bed time.
Shaking her head wit an amused chuckle at the thought, she hadn't had to go too far before she heard something in the distance. It sounded like voices in the distance. Two at least, and they seemed to be coming from a brook she knew to be not too far off from where she was now. She'd traveled this way a few times on her was to see one family member or another in the past. With her ears perked, dark gray eyes set against black pools steadily watched the direction she'd heard the voices. "Perhaps it wouldn't be too much for me to take a peek?" She thought to herself as she slowly edged her way towards the brook.
Slowly and carefully, the ice bound filly made her way towards the sounds she'd heard in the distance. She didn't want to barge in and make her presence known till she was ready for it. After all, as one little mischievous racoon that hung around her grandmother's gardens said once, her appearance might come as a shock to those who were not accustomed to seeing her. She even had to admit that her eyes seemed strange when she looked into a pool of water and first noticed how they differed from those of the rest of her family. But they still held nothing of the difference that her brother Seren's eyes held. To have living plants in place of eyes she couldn't imagine how he managed. She'd always promised to keep him safe from harm so that other young soquili like herself couldn't taunt him and if they did, she'd give them a sound thumping.
Sage cast his brother a cheeky sort of grin, flicking his tail about some. "I remember.. but it's so much warmer now!" Throwing his head about as he splashed some more in the water. He was contented to play in the water as his brother made up his mind. When The fox colored foal asked him what they'd find, he paused. Truly he hadn't been looking for anything really. It never occurred to him that perhaps they wouldn't be the ones to find anything but instead would be the ones found. As long as it wasn't the same sort of disaster that they'd gotten themselves into the last time. The three brothers had been scolded well for worrying their parents. "I'm not sure, Thyme. Maybe we'll find some new things to surprise momma with.. you know a new herb or something."
He paused thrown off by the abrupt redirection. "Mud? I suppose I'm ok with it.. After all it's fun to tromp around in the sticky mud and hear the suction give as we pull our legs free." Still, he gave his brother a quizzical look all the same. Something told him that this wasn't going to end very well.
