Just an hour or two after the events of "The Dragon Awakens".
There was a lot to do. Far too much to do... while he had a handful of loyalists, there were still dozens- perhaps dozens upon dozens -of tribe members that he had to persuade and solidify as supporters. There could be some upstarts out there. They'd have to be dealt with before their defiance could spread. Those that sat uncertain between the past and the future would either have to be swayed or driven out with the defiant. Those that were loyal or could be persuaded into his vision would be embraced, strengthened, and showered with honor to increase their personal investment. If the stakes of failure were high, they would fight harder for success.
For now- he had a captive and a half-dead exile. The tribe would see both. One would stumble blindly towards the border escorted by cowards for all to see. The other would be beaten and left to rot in a holding chamber. He'd have to see those built....and soon. It was likely he would have need for more of them in the very near future. Unfortunately.
At present there was the matter of this....self-proclaimed "blood witch". Whatever a witch was and whatever her fascination with blood was stood beyond his comprehension. Witch wasn't a word common to the realm. In fact he was quite sure it was the first time he'd heard it. There were words, labels, and names that came to him- and defined themselves- in the days following his first breath. Perhaps there was a certain element of madness to her...but he was an opportunist. Anything could be used for his advantage. Perhaps this... blood witch would prove useful to him and to the realm as a whole.
He paced across the polished stone floor of what was once the personal chambers of the former Magus. The former leader...the coward. What a waste. It was a beautiful chamber, fashioned with love and devotion for the sacred post that was dumped to the side like a heap of old, sloppy bones. He had sent a summons to this...Thyra. She intrigued him- and she owed him some explanation.
Hearing soft paw-steps at the door he paused and turned, raising a thick brow. "You may enter."
