Appearance: ((inaccurate face shape but general idea)) -- Blaithe's face is slender and rather boyish or androgynous, which is something she quite likes. Teal and pink (either with stars or a circle around the pupil), her eyes are large and curious, always gleaming with excitement. She often has a bandaid, sticker or paint on her face -- usually in the shape of a star. Her skin is stark white. Blaithe has a tendency to dress boyishly, preferring shorts and pants over skirts and dresses any day. However, she loves to dress in loud and obnoxious colors. Her straw colored hair is kept in braids draped over her shoulders, resting just at her navel -- at the ends of each braid are gradients of color; her left holding cold colors from green to purple at the tips, her right, red to yellow. The girliest thing she usually wears are bows decorating the ends of her braids.
Personality: With a love for most things, Blaithe is generally a quite happy person. She's had her rough patches, troubles and worries to work through, but in her determination she managed to pull through. It's quite hard to get her down and she's quite trusting to the point of naivety. Art is her life and she loves to make things for other people whenever she isn't busy with Academy. She finds it easy to make friends, but she won't bend over backwards for anyone she doesn't particularly like -- though she really tries to like you. Despite her cheery disposition and general positive attitude, Blaithe is very relaxed and tends to be more stationary than active.
History: Despite being very much loved by her family, the difficult decision to put Blaithe up for adoption was made as she turned three. They were unable to care for her, being nearly below lower class and barely able to even take care of themselves. Jin Ho Kyon adopted her at the age of four, and she was raised happily. As it turned out, her adoptive father was also psychic, but he did little to expand it, being a dual English and Health teacher at a regular, public high school. The first ability Blaithe developed, around the age of six, was photokinesis and stemmed her love for color and art as she mostly would bend colors. Jin Ho was absolutely ecstatic and supportive. He vaguely knew of the Psychonauts but hadn't attended any psychic schooling, himself, but jumped at the opportunity to send Blaithe to camp as soon as she was old enough. The young girl excelled. She became very invested in art shortly after, devoting her free time to improving her painting, makeup and any other art related skill she could. Ending up going to the same school that Jin Ho taught at, she did very well in the creative arts. Her junior year, however, Blaithe and Jin Ho were involved in a car accident; Jin Ho losing his arm and Blaithe losing her leg. The two went to physical therapy together and were each other's strongest support, keeping the other going through their hardships. Having been very into skateboarding before the accident, Blaithe became depressed. Her art teacher, Tsura, became very close to Blaithe after the accident, resulting in Tsura and Jin Ho becoming close – they eventually decided to pursue a relationship when Blaithe became a senior, and she was very receptive and supportive of them both. After graduation, she began experimenting and expressing herself with her hair. The older she gets, the more Blaithe questions her gender, considering herself genderfluid but generally stuck to female or feminine pronouns as they were most familiar and easier – though she does like to switch it up sometimes. Jin Ho is still very supportive.
