Nika walked with her hands stuffed in her pockets, in absolute awe of the city. Cheer radiated off the crowd in waves, pulsing along with the asymmetric hum of the crowd. For once, the rising shriek of a child was delight instead of discomfort. Mom, I wish you could've seen this, she thought solemnly. And then, with more amusement, She probably would have tried to invite everybody here to dinner. Nika really hoped her dad was going to be okay by himself. She planned on writing him a letter at least every week, if they were even allowed to send out letters here.
Nika had sorely missed being around people that weren't depressed and solemn. Things had been better after getting to Hoenn, but still there was this cloud of fear hanging over everyone. It made her angry, and she clenched her fists in her pockets. No, Nika. You're here to enjoy yourself. Later. Her fists relaxed, although she didn't pull her hands out of her pockets when she walked up to the Dante Academy booth. "Hi, we're supposed to come here for sign up, right? I'm Nika Tenji. I mean, Veronica Tenji." She always forgot Nika wasn't her "real" name.

Azreal sighed, and yawned softly into his hand. He really didn't want to go to this event, if he had his way he'd just go straight to his dorm room and stay there until classes started. However he had a duty to attend and receive his ID and other necessities. He muttered under his breath, and thumbed the small trinket in his pocked. His eyes turned sad, it was the only thing he had that belonged to his family. It was the only thing that actually made him feel at ease. He was only here for his family, he was here in order to help them. That and he did make a promise, and he never broke his promises ever. He can't say that part of him regrets this promise, however, he was attending for good reason. Even though all of this was boring. All this happiness, all these smiles. They were all fake, they had to be. This was all a temporary happiness, outside of this City there weren't smiles and festivals. No, Azreal would swear his life on it. He laughed, it's so ironic how these people were enjoying themselves even though everyone else outside this place was living in hell. The earring on his ear burned a bit, and he touched it lightly.
If he could, he'd rip it off and throw it away. Too bad he couldn't do that, no matter how much he wanted to it was one thing he was not allowed to part with. He shoved his hands abruptly into his pockets, cursing as he moved by people. He needed to get his head in the game and smile. Even though it was a pain, he had to at least act friendly other wise people might look at him weirdly. So he did just that, he put on a mask and smiled as he walked by.
Eventually he made it to his own school's booth and he noticed a girl standing there. He tilted his head as he caught her name, before he spoke his own "I'm here for the same reason as her, names Azreal Lamar" he spoke. He looked at her, his heart not really into trying to make friends "guess we're classmates" he commented, his hands still in his pockets. Besides making friends was something he had to avoid at all costs, even if that meant acting like a jerk to do it.

A boy spoke up right when she finished, and Nika looked at him. Azreal...that's a cool name. He looked a little different than most people, too. Like he'd come from pretty far. Like me. With inward amusement, she noticed he too had his hands stuffed in his pockets. "Yeah, guess so," she responded nodding to him.
Nika heard her mother's voice in her head, telling her to be welcoming to strangers. Nika argued back that she had plenty of time to get to know him since they'd be classmates. Her mom told her that was a load of mushed corn (aka BS). "Your clothes are pretty interesting," she said, feeling vaguely worried that she'd be bringing up some bad memories. But a lot of people here had bad memories, and she wasn't going to step on eggshells around everybody. Besides, a good dose of genuine truth was way better than petty small talk, in her opinion. "Are you alone too?" she asked, meaning to question whether this Azreal had come to the city by himself, like Nika.

It was a beautiful bright day in Starlight City, at least to the girl who was in charge of the Dante Academy booth. The other volunteers were still present but she was more so in charge of greeting people, giving them their necessities and setting a good example for her Academy. Well, it wasn’t her Academy but she was certainly their first student. It made her feel special and it really helped her to not socialize in any unnecessary circumstances. Teachers were different since they were far more mature and knowledgeable than those her age. It was a bit strange that she felt more comfortable around adults than those around her age. Her younger brother was a different story. He had some issues with adults that she didn’t really pry into. Everyone should be given their space and if they wanted to talk then they could always find her, right? At least, that was her mentality. She was quite a neutral individual, at least to some extent. There were various circumstances that required her to take a stand and make a choice. At those times she was quick to pick a side and stick with it. Much like how she chose to fight for Starlight City in their battle against Team Arcana. Her blue eyes looked to the sky as she recollected some past instances with her family.
A white haired girl with vibrant blue eyes came to the booth. She was interesting and appeared very much like a Trainer considering her tone of voice and attire. Whether she was S-Rank material was another matter altogether. ”Welcome Miss. Tenji, let me take a look.” Alana said in a cheerful voice and scanned through the papers that listed the students of Dante Academy. ’Tenji….It is a ‘T’ so it is going to be in the T section.’ The girl flipped a couple of papers before spotting the name. ”Ah, here we go!” Alana sounded quite delighted as a smile naturally came to her face. ’We will just check her off and then get her ready!’ The S-Rank Trainer checked the girl off before another student came up to the booth. ”Mr. Lamar, just a second please.” The girl went back to her list and look through the ‘L’s this round. There weren’t a whole lot of ‘L’s’ so it was easy to find him. ”Thanks you two, just one moment as I get you prepared.” She placed the list down, picked herself up from her seat and went rummaging through some boxes.
Overall it took 5-sih minutes before the girl took out four boxes. Placing two boxes in front of the students she began to explain the contents. ”Here are your ID’s, they have your information on it so if it is ever lost we will be sure to get it back to you. It’s important to keep these on you because it lets you access into your dorm room and it already has money on it. To be exact it has 100P in it to spend to your heart’s desire. You don’t have to worry about paying for food or board here as that is already paid for so there is no need to pay for it with your card.” Alana handed them their IDs and went on to continue her explanation. ”Your uniforms, Rulebook on the Dos and Dont’s in Dante Academy and Starlight City, Class Information, your Dorm Assignment that you can access after the welcoming event has ended...let see here.” The girl dug through her pack and took out a device. ”This is your Pokedex, it is just a Basic one where you can see the name and type of Pokemon you have seen. And then we have your badges that show your current Rank, since you are all first years you are a D-Rank which is the lowest rank at this school. Ah! But don’t worry,” Alana sounded a bit panicky. ”After a number of missions, classes, and time then you can definitely go up the ranks. Oh! And we also have some Pokeballs, Potions, Paralyze Heal which is a medicine that cures your Pokemon when it is paralyzed. OH! Your Pokemon!” She went back to digging and took out two Pokeballs. ”These are your starter Pokemon! Miss. Tenji your Starter Pokemon is a Starly and Mr. Lamar your Starter Pokemon is a Togepi. Please take care of them as much as they will take care of you.” The girl stood up from her chair and gave each of them a bow as the Pokemon were given to their new Trainers. ”Any questions?”

Azreal waited for the girl to gather up their things. His attention shifted back to Nika, as she stated that they were classmates. That much obvious since they were both here, guess that was a waste of time to state the obvious... what a bother. He shoved his hands into his pocket, before his eyes moved back over to Nika as she stated that his clothers were interesting. That made him remember bad memories, and he looked at the ground "Yeah... it's apart of my families culture, helps me focus on the task ahead you know" he said, shrugging. He didn't feel like going into anymore details, after all it was personal. That and it was a bother, everything usually was though. He pursed his lips, as she asked if he was alone too. He took the question as a surprise, and blinked at her. Was he alone? Memories and thoughts filled his head, and he clenched his fists. Yes, he was alone. He rested a hand on his hip, and ran a hand through his hair "yeah, you could definitely say that" he answered a bit sadly.
His attention shifted to the female at the booth, she seemed to be the one running it. He listened to her explain what the items they were getting where, before going on to state that they didn't have to worry about paying for food or board. That was sort of nice, considering Azreal didn't have any money as it was anyways. He took the pokeball that was handed to him and stared at it, before he released his pokemon. What greeted him as an egg, or at least it looked like one. He raised a brow as the pokemon looked back at him, why did he get stuck with this pokemon. He held it, staring at it before looking up at the girl. Once she was finished with explanations, he opened his mouth "how was our partner pokemon decided? Because I feel like I got stuck with a bothersome pokemon... it literally looks like a baby..." he said, muttering the last bit. Not that deep down apart of him was happy, and curious about the fellow. It was just that he'd need powerful pokemon to get to his goal, after all a lot was riding on his success.

So the clothes were a cultural thing? It made sense, now that Nika thought about it, but she wouldn't have guessed. Since she hadn't spent a lot of her childhood in cities, she still kind of thought that fashion was just...unexplainable. It was cool he had a reasoning behind what he was wearing. A bit less cool to think he might be the last of his people or something equally depressing. Nika was totally getting that vibe from him, something to do with loss. Not like that made her psychic or anything- almost everyone here had something like that.
Alana introduced herself, and Nika was struck by how genuinely helpful and friendly she was. Although as she waited for Alana to get their stuff Nika started to get a bit impatient, rolling froward and backward on her feet. She always felt so clunky when she wore shoes and was looking forward to getting somewhere she could peel the things off. "Uhh, are you..." Nika trailed off, twisted her lips, and decided to wait. Finally, Alana plopped everything on the counter. "Woah. And we get to keep all of this?" Nika could hardly believe it. "I mean, I expected it, but..." Well, she was agreeing to join the academy so it made sense for them to prepare the students. Sorry Mom, but nobody gives things away for free anymore.
More importantly was the pokeball, which Nika took with excitement. Here was the key to being able to fight back. With pokemon, she could do something, finally. Nika released her own pokemon, which she immediately recognized as a starly. "Okaaay." The bird was kind of cool, and it evolved into a fighting type which she liked, but she'd been hoping for something with a few more...arms. "Here, birdy birdy," she said, raising her arm for the starly to land on. It chirped and flapped right over her arm to land on her head instead. "Ow! Stop!" Nika tried to smack him away and received a sharp bite on her hand. When she stopped waving her arm at the starly, its talons (which had been digging into her scalp) relaxed. Nika sighed, accepting her fate.
When Azreal spoke up about his pokemon, Nika snorted. She turned to look at him, the starly atop her head turning with her. It was hard not to grin; the togepi did look pretty small, and paired with Azreal's tone it was too funny. "Its barely even out of its egg. But you know, at least you wont have to live in fear of bird poop," she joked, trying to cheer him up. Nika was just glad she got a pokemon she liked. She did listen for Alana's answer, curious if the pokemon had been random or not.

’Hmmmm I think those two might have some rough waters ahead. At least I’ll be able to keep an eye on them if anything progresses. Maybe...maybe some romance~’ Her thoughts were professional to start off but when it came down to looking at the two the world of the impossible opened up. ’Ah, Veronica seems more like the dominant one in the relationship. With that tone and the way she dresses I could definitely see her dominating the relationship. Oh, but that doesn’t mean Azreal can’t have a trick or two up his sleeve. Maybe he is the type to switch it up with something exciting. OH! Perhaps he likes to punish those and with what Veronica is wearing it looks like she loves to be punished.’ The contents of her mind were going haywire while she gazed fondly at the two. A toothy grin was spread across her mouth while two Dante students chatted. ’It’s so nice to be young and energized. I can’t wait with what sort of relationship blooms between these two..or three….or FOUR!’ Internally the woman giggled like a little school girl while checking off the items on the list. There were to be some new additions to the Academy including some teachers. None of the adults had yet to come and there had yet to be any sort of call or text from these figures. ’If they don’t come then I’ll have a handful with teaching the classes. I’ll need to think of a syllabus for the children and be able to formulate some assignments and lessons.’ Her mind instantly clicked back to work mode as her eyes scanned the list of names. ’Though I suppose that depends on how many students actually appear and check-in.’ ”Yes, all of these are yours. They will all help you better be trained for the days ahead.” Alana responded in turn to Veronica’s comment.
It was the student’s time to summon their Pokemon. The two summoned their Pokemon nearly the same time. Veronica didn’t seem disappointed with the Starly that she was given. The girl looked to try to communicate with the bird Pokemon. ”It looks like the two of you are already getting off at an interesting start. I can’t say that this isn’t a normal reaction. Pokemon have various reactions when they meet their partner for the first time. Some like to run away, cry, get mad, tease, and etc. It all depends on their personality. But it seems like you and Starly will get along like two peas in a pod.”
Looking at the Togepi that came out of the blue haired boy’s Pokeball was a cute sight to see. Alana fondly remembered hatching the eggs so that the students within the Academies would have strong partners. It was also a time that tested out her Breeding capabilities for she couldn’t acclaim that she was a Breeder without doing any type of Breeding with her Pokemon. Ah, those were fond memories~ Finding matches between her Pokemon, hooking them up, watching them flirt, getting a bit naughty. ’Hehehehee~’ The woman could easily be drunk on such acts but even her fascination with what went down in a dark tunnel or a patch of grass was not strong enough to prevent her from having been insulted! Alana looked to the boy named Azreal, the mind was no longer in a blissful state when incompatible words spewed from his mouth. Her face quickly darkened with a dangerous glint in her eyes. It was a lot like the ocean. Her eyes could be calm and easy going but once someone insulted the Pokemon she raised with love and lust then a very thick line was drawn. ”These Pokemon were chosen based on a close evaluation of your character, your needs, your weakness, and by what is needed in your life.” Alana grew closer to the boy, towering over the child. ”If you aren’t able to see past its appearance, then you are going to get exactly what you want to see. But when you are actually are competent enough to look past its ‘baby’ appearance then you will notice that you’ve been paired with a Pokemon that is great for deception.” Alana’s eyes trailed to the white-haired girl, her demeanor calmed down significantly as she distanced herself away from Azreal. ”I don’t believe your Starly has a mischievous, naughty or impish nature. But you will have to put some extra effort in reminding Starly that you two are a team now. Though it might be hard I think you can do it.” She smiled pleasantly, quite opposite of her demeanor of just a few minutes ago.

Samuel was doing hand stands as he slowly made his way towards the booth. Sweat running up, or down his body since he was upside down. He was softly panting as his legs were bent to keep balance as he listened to someone lecturing, probably young ones on pokemon.
As he got closer he leaned back and landed on his feet and inhaled slowly and exhaled quickly as he gave the three people, two female, one male as he pushed up his sunglasses up his nose. The sun shinning off his sunglasses to hide his eyes.
He gave them a quick scan of the three as he looked at the pokemon and gave them a toothy smile as he spoke in a excited and happy tone "A Starly and a Togepi ? HAHAHA! What great choices for the kings of our generation!" Samuel gave a nice barrel laugh when he talked to them.
He gave there pokemon a look over as he placed his thumb under his chin, his index finger knuckle rubbing his chin as he studied them. It seemed as though the boy disliked his pokemon and the girl starly didn't listen all to well he guessed. Either way he chuckled.
"HEY! LISTEN!!" He randomly shouted without warning before he spoke in the same tone as before "Both pokemon you were given hold great potential. They are like clay, build them up anyway you deem fit but always prepare for the worst case scenario. That starly will undoubtedly become a fierce pokemon in its domain." Samuel paused and pointed upwards to the sky to suggestion the skys will be its domain. Looking at the young lad as he spoke "As for you boy. Yes, your togepi may look like a "baby" but then again i could say the same for you. You are a lot alike your pokemon, both wet behind the ears. But when properly cared for by your teachers and by your actions and reactions to the trouble you endure, both of you shall become quite the opponent. I fought many a 'toge; evolution, each one more fiercely happy and proud to help those in great need."
Samuel looked over at the booth and walked over there with a sense of pride as he sat down on the booth counter as he smiled happily at them "I look forward to see how both of you rule over your respected domains in the sky's~." Samuel pulled out of his pocket a trail bar filled with nuts and what not as he gave it a big bite and began to observe the three people and there pokemon.
As he munched on the trail bar he looked at the young lass as he spoke, with food in his mouth of course "Ya know... Iff has gonna staff(Stay) onth(On) you're heath(head)" He paused momentarily to swallow his food before continuing "I suggest a thick hat... Like cotton, though honesty a word from the wise, cotton not good for anything, sure its comfy but it doesn't trap your heat inside your body like wool... So.. Keep that in mind. Just don't clip its talons, otherwise its kinda up creak without a paddle."
He smiled happily as he pushed his sunglasses up again with his index finger knuckle as he went back to eating his snack bar.

Azreal didn't really mean to sound offensive, he just didn't know how he was supposed to train this... this baby of a pokemon. Why couldn't have have gotten a Growlithe, or even an Axew? His attention shifted towards Nika as she stared to speak, but then trailed off. Azreal wonded just what exactly was wanted to ask, but whatever she was about to say was lost as Alana showed them their own items. Azreal made sure to store the items into their respective areas, before he waited for Alana to answer his own question. Nika seemed rather surprised that they got to keep all the stuff they were given. Azreal had to admit, it was a bit shocking that they were getting all this stuff basically for free. He didn't know how he felt about that particularly. It was then that Nika went on to send out her own pokemon, a bird type pokemon he didn't recognize. He stared at it as Nika tried to bond with it, Azlreal looked down at his own pokemon. It seemed to have its small hands crossed and its cheeks puffed out. Was it... was it pouting? Really? He sighed, groaning inwardly.
At least he wasn't the only one who having problems with their pokemon, Nika seemed to have her own issues to deal with as the bird pokemon tried to sit on her head. At least he didn't have to deal with that. It sort of look painful, those claws looked awfully sharp. His attention turned back to Nika as she stated that it was barely out of its egg, and that at least he wouldn't have to fear being pooped on by a bird. He thought about it, and the image of it was amusing. He tried not to show it though "I suppose so" he answered. When he heard some creepy giggling, he turned to see Alana smiling at them. What was wrong with her, and why was she looking at them like... like THAT. He fiddled with his fingers a bit uncomfortably under her gaze, what was she even thinking right now?
However, he once giggling girl seemed to turn cold after he asked his question earlier. He gulped, shrinking down a bit as she stated that the pokemon were based on close evaluation and that they were based on everything about them. She went on to say that the pokemon were based on what they needed in their life. He frowned, why did he need a baby in his life? That didn't make any sense. However, her next words seemed to make him freeze up. She went on to state that the pokemon that he was paired up was great for deception. He turned a bit pale, they couldn't have known right? He was sweating a bit, but he did his best to keep his composure "right" he said weakly. She was scary... this chick was definitely scary! If he knew anything about girls, it was that when they got like this then you need to back off and fast. His elder sisters taught him that very well, so he kept his mouth shout.
It was then a male voice boomed behind him as that man laughed at what great choices they were for the kings of their generation. He frowned confused, what the heck was that supposed to mean? What the heck was with this guy? He just went on to talk about their pokemon and their potential. He blushed embarrassed as the man pretty much made fun of him and stated that he was the same as his pokemon. The man stated he was a baby, and wet between the ears. He really didn't like either of these people, the girl was scary, the the man was just plain rude. He sort of just wanted to leave now. He was surprised to see his own pokemon squirming in his arms, as it raged on pointing its tiny little hands at the man. It shook, before speaking words Azreal thought were probably insults of its own before the small pokemon crossed its arms. He blinked, this pokemon certain was sassy.

Nika's new starly fluffed up visibly when a loud voice rose behind them. Nika pivoted, facing the new man quickly. She instantly regretted in as her starly's talons dug in and his wings flapped to keep from falling. "Hhhrk." Her hands whipped to her head to steady him. Experimentally, she tried to pull him off, but his feet remained stubbornly planted to her head. Then, the man yelled again. Suddenly. Starly's talons curled into her scalp, and Nika was sure she would be bleeding when the bird finally left her head. She would've probably liked what the guy was saying if she didn't feel like he was the cause of the excruciating pain on her head. Her starly didn't loosen his grip until Samuel was seated.
"Is he done shouting yet?" Nika mumbled to Azreal.
Nike felt pretty defensive for Azreal- she felt like these people were being too harsh on him for his snap decision which, in her opinion, made sense. Sure, what these adults were saying made some sense, but geez, get off the high horse. Nika was glad she hadn't said anything worse than she did. The way Alanna switched from cold to warm had her shivering even though she addressed Nika with the warmth. "I'll train him. I only just got him, you know," she felt like she had to point out. It wasn't like she was going to be an instant team with her first pokemon, after all.
Nika raised a hand and found that her starly seemed content to let her scratch softly at his belly feathers. His grip even loosened a little bit, and Nika found herself able to believe she could figure out a way to get along. She even felt a bit more friendly about the man that had seated himself down at the booth, now that he wasn't startling starly. Although his talking while he was eating didn't help. "Uhh...thanks. I'm going to train him to sit somewhere else though. I want to, anyways." Nika crossed her arms. "And of course I'm not going to clip his talons. I'm not an idiot." Nika was annoyed. Sure, these adults had way more experience and knowledge and plenty to teach them, but they didn't have to treat her and Az like children. Samuel's happy grin looked more like a condescending smirk because of her mood.
"Thanks for the help," she said, maybe a bit too abruptly. "Az, let's go." Nika reached out and grabbed his elbow, not caring that they'd just met. She intended to pull him away so they could talk without these two staring at them. Nika was pretty sure Alana had been eyeing them with a weird look early, too. So far, Nika really wasn't sure what to think of the school's staff. She had sort of been expecting something...different.

When one sees a pair of legs in the air instead a typical face in the ocean of people, then you know something strange is happening. It was indeed strange when a white-haired male came upon the Dante booth drenched in perhaps his own sweat. ’I don’t need a carnival show at this time of day. I’m already going to have a field trip with this boy, I don’t need anything else added into this.’ Patience was one of the good traits that stuck with the girl over the years. Though a trait such as patience varied from one individual to another. Alana could have more patience with a child than an adult, as adults were one to at least be able to have a sense of time and place when it came to acting like that of a child or as someone who knew their place in society. It felt as if this white-haired man just reworded what she said to the two children. Certainly his tone and demeanor were different but the message was the same. Once this man’s lecture about the potential and skills of their chosen Pokemon came to pass he began to give them advice, or at least the girl with the Starly. ’An irritating man has come into the picture.’ The woman began to think of potential reasons why this white-haired male was here. He most certainly was not a student and by the way he spoke to the kids he was not a mere citizen walking by. ’He’s a frickin teacher, isn’t he…’ The woman sighed as it was the most plausible explanation she had at this time. And do you know what irritated Alana the most? The fact that this man was eating and talking at the SAME ******** TIME! Pardon her...or my language but she just couldn’t handle such indecency. Forget the fact that he was shirtless or was sweating, those kinds of things could be overlooked since he was probably working out. But speaking and chewing food at the same time was a big no-no in her books. ’I don’t want to associate myself with this man. Keep note in your mind Alana, stay away from him because he is a terrible influence and clearly is not considerate of others. I don’t want to know what he is chewing, at least William has better manners than this man.’ Let the day end or this meeting with this man just come and go so that she could just be on her way.
For the time being she ignored the kid in the adult body and looked back at the two kids. Azreal appeared to shrink back from her cold demeanor and though she wouldn’t show it, the girl was pleased. ’That’s right, you better not insult a baby in front of its mother.’ More than likely, it may be an understatement to say that Alana was protective of the Pokemon that were bred in the school. Yes, there was going to be the day where all the Pokemon were going to be handed out to the various students in the Academy but at least they would grow. The Pokemon wouldn’t be stuck in the DayCare for the rest of their lives. At least the mother had hoped that everyone would appreciate the fact that they were all getting a Pokemon at all. ”Indeed, I sure hope I’ll see how you two progress when I see you in class and throughout your time here in Dante Academy.” Alana may have smiled calmly but those wild thoughts of romance were still present within her mind. ’What if it’s their Pokemon that bring them together! Oh~ My babies will bring two love birds together who could go on in making more babies in the future~ I definitely have to write a story about this when I get back to my room. Maybe it will give some inspiration or spark to some people’s relationship.’
”Have fun you two~” The woman waved the two away before directing her gaze at the man. She visibly sighed when she had to talk to him. ”Name and profession?” She didn’t want to waste her time on this man even though she would probably be forced to help in class. ’Why couldn’t there be some more considerate teachers being hired in Dante. I could be content with a woman like Skylar being a teacher but this guy is going to give me so much hassle.’

Samuel munched on his snack bar like a little chipmunk as he listened to the young kings of his generation and the older women roughly around his age? He pushed trivial thoughts to the back burner as the women spoke towards the kids he couldn't help but chuckle despite the fact the air all around these four people, three of them emitted very nasty energy's. "You know... I have a sneaking suspicion that you three hate me!" He spoke kindly, gently and above all else, happily. Un-Phased by there feelings towards this stranger of a man.
He threw the last bit of his snack bar in his mouth and chewed it quickly and let it fall into his gut as he continued speaking "Though i'm sure people hated fire at first too... Till they realized it provided them the means to not only cook there food but keep them warm in moments of great cold." Laughing as he wiped his arm over his mouth to get what little Crumbs off his face.
Hearing the snow white haired fellow of a female teen? He thought she was a teen at least say "Az" he couldn't help but giggle at the cute name. "Hey, son. Don't look to upset. Smile even if its hard and treat your new partner with love and friendship and i'm sure that little buddy will evolve no time flat! Also wouldn't hurt to do the same to your friend... Who's a girl... Nudge nudge wink wink~." As he spoke kindly and happily and full of energy he nudged his elbow at the end and said "wink wink" because he was sure they couldn't see him actually winking.
"As for you my ivory hair lass, since i upset your bird pall, feel free to sick him on me when ever you like!" He gave both of them a toothy smile as he watched the girl pull "Az" away. When they were far enough away he spoke sweetly and honestly "They make a good couple... To be young and in love~... Sadly i was young but never in love!" He couldn't help but hold his sides and let out a barrel laugh till he herd the older women speak up behind him. Causing him to literally jump out of his seat and fall onto the ground.
He suffered a very small scrap on his left elbow, since its size was so small, he didn't care to bandage it up. He got up slowly on one knee and stood up and faced the long ebony hair women and spoke happily and without any thought "You know, scaring a guy and then asking about his personal information a really weird way of asking a guy out!" Samuel let out another barrel laugh, but this time it suddenly stopped.
Lifting his right hand up and re-adjusting his sunglasses with his index finger knuckle. He spoke happily but seriousness hidden somewhere in the tone as he spoke to her "I was hired to be the environmental survival teacher for the sheer fact i have spent five challenging years of my life in the harshest terrain possible for one solid year. Each." He paused for a little while, giving the next's words he'd say with great caution. "My name is... Samuel." He paused only briefly, in hopes that be enough information for whatever she'd give him.
Samuel looked at the women eyes, not daring to even try and look down any lower than he had to thanks her today shirt choice... Then again he was a topless man so maybe he shouldn't judge or worry that much? As he waited he closed his eyes and cracked his neck by moving his head in a circular motion right to left. Then moved his neck as far right as possible to crack his neck then again to his left. When he moved his neck in a half circle mini cracks could be herd but when he did the all to the right then left version movement, loud cracks could be herd.

Azreal looked back towards Nika, and he sort of felt bad that her pokemon currently had its claws in her head. That really must hurt, Azreal was sort of happy he only had to deal with this sassy little creature in his arms. Though the female baby didn't seem all that fond of Samuel. Not that Azreal liked him much either. It was then that Nika mumbled something about him being done shouting and Azreal just shook his head "doesn't seem like it... what a bother, does he have to talk like that?" she questioned back to her. Azreal really didn't want to bother with these two adults, it was just too bothersome. Plus they made him feel so small, not like he wasn't small already as it was. Azreal hugged the small creature closer to him, in which the egg pokemon seemed to protest and turn its attention towards him "shh I don't really wanna deal with her, its too much trouble" he whispered back, hoping the pokemon would understand him. Azreal watched as the pokemon hit his chest, before crossing it's arms. Azreal groaned again "ok ok how about a name? You want one right?" he asked, trying his best not to piss off someone else. His pokemon looked at him quizzically before looking at him as if telling him to continue. Azreal nodded "er... right, so i'm uh not sure if your a boy or a girl... how about basel or Kohaku?" he said. Togepi's face scrunched in dislike and it hit him again "bree!" it shouted angered.
Azreal jumped, wincing a bit at his pounded at his chest "ok ok! Girl, definitely a girl" he said sheepishly. He looked at the pokemon again, and thought about his sisters. Maybe he could name it based off his own family culture. He thought about it, and smiled a bit "Moana" he said softly. Togepi stopped hitting him momentarily, and seemed rather surprised by the name. The little pokemon thought about it, before seeming almost content with the name. Moana seemed to relax, almost like it rather liked being held in his arms. It sort of made Azreal feel a bit fuzzy inside, maybe this pokemon wasn't so bad after all...
He was brought out of his thoughts, as Nika spoke about clipping her pokemon's talons and saying she wasn't an idiot. That much Azreal agreed on, Nika seemed rather smart actually. He watched as she seemed to glare at the two adults, which Azreal understood. He would have glared back too, but that would probably bite him in the butt later on. Plus he just didn't feel like it, too much of a bother really. It was then that Nika thanked them for the help, and turned to him. She had called him Az, and Azreal blushed rather surprised. Had they got close enough to be using nicknames now? He felt a bit embarrassed, but didn't do anything as she grabbed at his elbow and tugged him along. Moana on the other hand didn't seem to enjoy Nika clinging to her new trainer, and she glared at the girls arm. Azreal sighed as Moana then proceeded to hit Nika's arm repeatedly, annoyed that she was taking his attention away from her. Yep, this pokemon was definitely a sassy one. Azreal blushed embarrassed again "sorry... she doesn't seem to like you for some reason" he said sheepishly.
Azreal shuttered as Alana's voice rang out to them, he really hoped he didn't have to meet her often. The way she looked at them made him shiver, it was like he was some sort of entertainment to her. It made him really uncomfortable to be honest. Sort of like both Nika and him were some sort of game pieces, and she was trying to make them play some sort of game. He tried to shake those thoughts away. He looked back at Nika, and he couldn't say he didn't like Nika as a person. He was just hesitant about getting to close, after all he wasn't supposed to be friends with anyone.
The the male adults voice picked back up, and he stated something about them hating him. He wasn't far off, but hate was a strong word. It was more like he disliked him. At this point Azreal made it his mission to ignore the man completely. He nearly chocked as the man stated he had a new partner with love and friendship. He did not just go there, Azreal gave him a weird look "hey we're not lovers! We're just classmates, stop looking at us like that" he said frowning. What the hell? Now Azreal was pink, and he really just wanted to hide in a hole...

"I should name you too, huh?" Nika asked, tilting her head up. Her starly looked down at her. "Huh. Okay so...boy?" He stared. "...girl?" He still stared. "Geez, you're helpful." He squawked. "You goof. How about Calo?" she chuckled. He seemed to be okay with the name.
Then Nika looked down at the tiny hands that were punching her arm. "Err..." She shifted her arm, not yet letting go of Azreal. It would be frowned upon to punch the togepi back, right? "It's okay. Didn't think I'd be a pokemon punching bag today though." She chuckled, looking to Azreal to see if he also thought it was funny.
Meanwhile, Samuel was still saying things. At least Alana had said a pleasant goodbye. Nika was annoyed by Samuel's words and manner. The more he spoke, the more she started to think he was just being condescending and she decided to ignore everything else he said. Until he started talking about her and Azreal. Nika's hand slipped off Azreal's arm. She turned to look back after Azreal did, a warm blush on her face. "Maybe you two should get a room yourselves!" she spat, glaring and not really caring if they were adults or not. She was hyper-aware of Azreal by her side, especially after what Samuel said, but she stubbornly refused to let it get to her.
Once they were a bit further away, Nika made another attempt to get Calo off her head. To her surprise, he rather docilely hopped off onto her raised forearm. He sidled up her arm until he was nestled in on her shoulder. "Whew. That's better. I can't believe they're teachers." Nika used her free hand to gingerly check out her head. Her fingertips came away with blood, but not much. Nika sighed, fixing her hair. "Az, mind if we find a water fountain?." she asked, keeping the nickname despite all the romance stuff the adults had been talking about, "People'll freak out if they see the blood, you know?" She wouldn't have worried so much if her hair wasn't white...pretty easy to see blood in it, even if there wasn't much.
