Xian had just started her journey from the water tribe, it had been a long journey but one that had be fulfilling one. One that was far from being over, and had yet to fully start. No, it was just the beginning and something she felt would only truly start once she returned home and back to him. However, at the Water tribe, Mirro te Weavia, or in their language she learned it directly translates to 'The Mirror of the Weaver'. It was there that she had meet a b'alam name, Chaucer and it was he that taught her how to read and write. Along side those lessons, she meet her first Nahtlil friend; Tyra a water b'alam. She too was learning to read and write just like her. The Nahtlil seemed to have some determined and great aspirations just like her. Xian could recall Tyra's motive to read and write was done so she would help her chances in being enlisted in the water tribe army. Before Xian had left the water tribe, it seemed her friend's dreams had started to come into fruition.

Xian found herself being happy for her friend. That and it only motivated her more in completing what she had set out to do...

Long elegantly her tail carefully held on to the handle of a finely crafted fan. Swiftly and regally it was brought to her nose with thoughtful care. Fanning it carefully, the Nahtlil released a soft sigh as her thoughts started to gently wounder. It had been so long since she had seen the fire-tribe, and felt like a even longer time since she had seen Oni....

Longing found her thoughts as it tugged softly at her heart, she missed him. Easily her thoughts went back to when she had first placed her eyes upon him. A soft chuckle left her maw at the memory. She had been newly woven, and wasn't really sure what she was seeing when her gold eyes first set themselves on him. How he had shielded himself by that strange shinny outer skin, he had called it 'armor'.

A large shadow caught Xian's careful yellow eyes and quickly tugged her thoughts out of her day dream. Curiously they watched as the large shadow shifted and drifted around her and encased all around her. Dark head tilted in thought as the fan paused from it's fanning and any ponder or wonder. All of and any of last thoughts were taken away as he head tilted upward to see were the shadow was being cast from.

How curious....

Looking up, Xian's yellow eyes peered past red ginger locks to spy on the large rock floating over head. Yellow eyes squinted, as her thoughts turned to more curious ones. It was one of the floating islands that was said to be the hovering land of the wind tribe. However, this one was a lot smaller, and seemed-from what she could see-was intentionally carved in some manner...that and far from it's birth. Eyes shifted about the rock, as Xian puzzled out where or why there was such an island so close to the water tribe. The fan remained close to her maw and remained poised.

A curious rattle left the fire tribe b'alam.

Hm...

The Jolly Roger had been sail far ahead, when it's captain and spotted a lone Nahtil. A beautiful lone and perhaps lost, Nahtil. It would have been simply just rude to let her pass by with out at least asking if she wanted directions or even better: a ride aboard his vast and mighty ship. She did look to be traveling....

With ease, the Wind b'alam leap overboard. White wings spread open to cetch a gust of wind to help lower him to a floating decent. With a soft flap of his wings, the tan b'alam remained aloft, a notable metal hook for an appendage glinted in the sun.

"Ahoy!" The b'alam called out to the Nahtil with a smile. Tilting his head down he looked at the white and black b'alam, her beautiful golden horns remained him of valuable golden scales. A trinket he found, he enjoyed when he aspired to be a merchant. Now, he just enjoyed collecting scales....and the mementos of a passing Nahtil, that found him deserving on something of hers.

Xian's careful yellow eyes fallowed what looked to be a large bird jump from the large floating rocks. Dark ears peaked, and her careful gaze widened sightly as the bird, was in fact another b'alam. One with white wings, and a hook for a paw?

Instantly, the Nahtil was intrigued with curiosity. The fan once more shifted over to conceal maw and a polite smile and he head tilted ever so slightly. It wasn't the first time she had seen a winged b'alam. In fact her teacher, though he claimed to be a water triber, had feathered wings like a wind triber. Admittedly it was a bit strange at first to see another that was born of one tribe that resided and claimed to be apart of another.

"Greetings, Tah." The Tactician answered to the stranger, that had floated above that came from the stray island. The fan she kept careful to cover maw, and the amused smile that rested on her features.

How curious, why in b'alam would this strange suddenly come down to greet her? 'Ahoy' was a word she didn't recognize, but it seemed to be a greeting of some sort and it was only polite to answer in kind. Or so she thought.

It was admittedly really odd, the white winged b'alam was in a strange place. She couldn't help but ponder if she would have seen such a sight if she had remained at her home tribe. Most likely not, that was apart of the adventure after all.

... For now. The Fire triber Nahtlil, would wait to see what would happen, and why this Tahtill thought it fitting to leave his loft to talk to her. Perhaps he was just friendly, or perhaps lost, maybe even wandering...?

With a light flap of his wings the lofty Tahtill bounced a little in his flight. Turning his body he twisted himself to circle back to where the Fire Nahtil was at.

In a swift 'thud', Hook's metal paw and three other fleshy ones landed a lit ahead of the fire b'alam. A relaxed smirk rested on his maw, as his white wings shifted and laid themselves on his back. They rose just a bit more in a slight ruffle, before settling down and back completely.

"Fire burn with in you." Killian grinned with a little swagger of his head, a single eyebrow of his rose with savvy arrogance. He had repeated something that he had heard was a greeting of sorts in the fire-tribe. Either way, Hook didn't think too much on it, after all he was just seeking an impression. Which, he was pretty sure he had gained with his entrance. Hook hadn't seen very many Fire-Tribers outside their lands. Except one, however-that one lived in the Sands with her bound and was already taken. Not that, Hook would be interested, he did however simply just enjoy Nahtils....

though that very same enjoyment, not only caused him to loose a paw, but broke his heart as well. It was a endless torment it seemed...

Xian's brow raised as the Tahtll landed and shared a very tribe specific greeting. Such a notion pulled at her curiosity and her yellow eyes fell to the metal hook, that was attached to his paw? Or lack there of. how strange, had he lost it some how? Xian's golden eyes raised to look at the Tahtll's maw, something inside her told her it was not polite to stare. However curious of a sight the stranger was...

"You seem well taught, and ventured Tahtll." The Nahtlil started in a unsure tone. It was a probing one, one that sought for more knowledge to why the Tahtll not only decided to stop her, but why he was the way he was. Xian had yet to see another so....maimed? Though, however he seemed quiet content with himself.

"After all that is a greeting that is far from these parts." Xian stated with a kind smile, long elegant paws continued in her walk. Her pace slowed from before, though it caused her body to inwardly shiver. The water area, where the ones with orbs dwell, it was a beautiful land-however such clement for so long was noticeably taking a toll on her fire body. Her horns felt brittle, and her body was sluggish. The last time she had set her eyes on reflection on the Mirror-de-weaver, her coat had even seemed paler. The back's of her pelt were not as crisp and even the whites on her coat, seemed to have a ghostly glow to it.

The Smile on Hook's maw only grew in roguish delight, his tail shifted and remained high above his hunches. His slightly uneven paw steps carried him closer to the Nahtlil. His alabaster wings placed themselves comfortably on his back and letting them drape handsomely at his sides. His uneven saunter moved him closer to the Nahtlil, Percing azure eyes drifted from her golden horns to the delate and regal looking fan she held so dearly to herself.

"Well, I am. Call it something of a hobby." The Wind b'alam answered with a delivish smirk. The greeting may have been far from 'these parts', however the same could be said of her. At least it made since for a wind b'alam to not be in one forever destined area.
