Brielle was wandering the woods alone. Well, as far as she knew. Niall was following at a distance, keeping an eye on his youngest sibling. He was worried; she always seemed to be alone.
Brielle bent and picked up a pinecone. She started to break it open, trying to remove the seeds. She wanted to plant them. The damage team rocket had caused needed to be repaired, somehow.

"Fweeeeee! Come, Free!" Making a delighted ruckus, Mistaya ran as fast as her little legs would carry her in pursuit of a Butterfree. She laughed loudly, and the Butterfree did the same. It was a game of tag. Mistaya often lost, but she never cared. She was just happy with her playmate.
Pushing through the bushes, her eyes widened at the sight of the other child. There was a moment of hesitation as she took in the other's poke-human features. The next moment, she smiled and waved a pudgy little hand. "Hi!"

Brielle hesitated. She was normally shy but this girl was right in front of her. She waved. "Hi!" She echoed. "What are you playing?" She asked, curiously. "I'm planting trees," she added. "Do you think they'll grow?"

"Play tag!" Mistaya chirped. However, the Butterfree was forgotten and Mistaya zoned in on the pine cones. Curious, she picked one up as well, turning it over in her hands. "Twees," she murmured contemplatively. While she had no way of even guessing if they'd grow, she still gave a confident nod. "Yes!" she said firmly and with a big smile. "I wanna help plant!"

Brielle smiled brightly at the confident response. She picked up another pine cone and offered it to Mistaya. "The seeds are inside," she explained. "My name's Brielle. What's yours?" She offered the girl another smile.

Pursing her lips with curiosity, Mistaya held the pine cone up to her face to pick at the scales. The seeds were inside it? Once she had plucked off one of the scales, she looked up again and smiled. "I'm Mistaya! How I get the seeds?"

"You break it open," Brielle said, and demonstrated by trying to pry hers open. "It's really hard! I think the Pokemon that eat them know how to open them lots better than me." She looked up, and smiled at Mistaya. "Nice to meet you."

Brow knit and eyes narrowed with concentration, Mistaya focused hard on trying to break open the pine cone and get to those seeds. Others could do this easily? Crazy!!
After about thirty seconds of trying to figure out what was seed and what was pine cone, she noticed a small bug crawling on the ground. Just a normal bug, but still a bug! Crouching down, she watched it crawl around a little. "Whatta bugs eat?" she asked out loud.

Brielle bent down as well, attention on the big. "I think they eat plants," she said. "Maybe we should find things for it to eat instead!" That sounded much easier than breaking open pine cones.

"Plants.." the little Psyduck hummed to herself. There were plants all over the place. Surely they would find something that the bug liked! "Findin' bug foooood~!" she sang happily, eager to go along with Brielle's plan to find a proper meal for the little bug!
