Alexandra was playing around on a playground at the school waiting for her mommy to get off work to pick her up, normally her big sis kailey would pick her up but she was in the hospital right now.
It made Alex really sad that her sister wasn't there so she tried to take her mind off of it by pretending she was one of the magical girls she loved so much and was saving the world from evil. That was when she spotted something walking across the playground.
It was a really cute and fluffy looking kitty wearing an adorable hat. She hurried over to the cat, she like most little kids was obsessed with cute animals.
"Hi miss kitty! What are you doing here alone?" She questioned the cat as she reached out to pet it.

Julienne had felt the soft warmth of an unawakened senshi nearby, and when the warmth made its way over to her, she paused and sat down, allowing the child to pet her. She nuzzled against the small hand, and wanted to say something…to make the offer to awaken her, to unlock the power that she held inside…but this girl seemed so…
So young.
She knew that there were older senshi who hated the idea of chibis being in the war to begin with…but one so young…
If this had been…
…Well. It wasn’t. And this was a dangerous time for all people she awakened…though…
Thoughts ran through the large cats mind as she nuzzled against the hand again, meowing loudly and happily. Hadn’t she just awakened another chibi not too long ago? And she had awakened so many others so…
“I’m not out alone. Well, I suppose I am, but I can take care of myself…what are you doing out here alone? You seem so young.” Cat was out of the bag now.

"You can talk!?" She squealed in an excited high pitched voice. "Are you a magical kitty?" She asked even more fascinated by the now talking cute animal. It was so vindicating to find a talking animal, like getting to meet Santa Claus or catching a Leprechaun, and mommy had said there weren't really things like talking animals.
"Oh um, usually my big sis picks me up by now but she's in the hospital and won't wake up. Mommy has to work late but she should be here soon." She said a little sadly, wishing her sister was here so that she could show her this amazing discovery.
She didn't know however that nearby was lurking a real monster. A wolf youma lurked in the shadows nearby the school, hunting for prey.

“I am a magical cat, yes. Thank you for noticing.” Julienne rubbed against Alexandra once again, though paused, fur standing up on her back. Well, damn. Now she wasn’t really going to have a choice in the matter…there was a youma nearby, and it felt strong enough that she wasn’t quite sure she would be able to take care of it herself…but if she could get the girl away…maybe she could avoid the inevitable.
“She’s in the hospital?” The words hardly really registered with her and she moved closer to the child, turning her head around, trying to find just where the youma was.
“I’m sorry to hear that…but why don’t you wait at home for your mother? Why would she let you stay out here all by yourself…?” When ther were monsters around…when she could get hurt.
Julienne would not let this little girl get hurt. She would not lose another senshi. She would not let the darkness keep creeping closer and closer to a victory…

"Um She said that it is too dangerous to walk home alone. And a teacher is supposed to be watching me til she gets here, but he said that he needed to finish up some paper work so to play on my own for a bit." She said pointing to the a window in the school building that overlooked the play ground.
"So if you're a magical kitty does that mean magical girls are real too? Do you work with them?!" She was bouncing at the thought of some girl fighting evil along side this cat, or maybe they searched out some magical treasure together like Cardcaptor Sakura or something. Her thoughts were interrupted when she heard the low growl.
She looked over towards the source of the noise and saw a wolf like creature walking out from the bushes. It was scary, like something out of little red riding hood. Alexandra took a step back from the creature, she knew enough to know that big animals like that were dangerous and this one looked really mean.
"Miss Kitty I think we should go." She said a bit nervous. She would go get her teacher, he'd know what to do.

Julienne seemed half alarmed and confused when the girl asked if she worked with magical girls. “You know about the senshi? They’re not all girls…but yes.” She bristled again, letting out a low hiss in response to the growl. “Stay behind me, child. I’ll protect you. Don’t worry. It’s just…it’s just a youma. A monster, I can handle it, don’t you worry.”
She would awaken the girl only if it was really needed. Only if it was really, really needed…but this was just a youma. She could handle a youma…though she did wish that Lenka was here to help. Or Goretti…anyone.
Swiftly, Julienne ran towards the youma, givng a smalli leap and twisting in the air, letting the henshin pen that would be for the girl drop to the ground, before she fired a beam from the star mark on her forehead, aiming right for the monsters face.
There. Now if this didn’t work, she had produced the pen. That was important…if it came to it, the child could awaken.

Senshi? youma? Those were really weird sounding words, she thought she was pretty smart but she had no idea what those words meant. But she did understand what a monster was, now she was even more afraid. A mean animal would be pretty bad but a monster was terrible, did it want to eat her.
She watched as the cat jumped into the air and produced something. The girl picked it up off the ground and clutched it in her small hands unsure what to do with it. She looked on in awe as the cat fired some kind of beam from her forehead at the monster.
Unfortunately the monster moved quickly and was able to jump out of the way of the beam save for it's back half which did get hit. The back legs seemed hurt as the wolf monster had to limp foreword but it looked alot angrier as it howled in rage.
Alex was really worried for the cat's safety so she looked around till she found a pretty big rock that she could throw. So she chucked the rock at the wolf it hit the monster right in the head. "Leave her alone you big bully!" She yelled at it. It turned it viscous eyes towards her. She took a step back as it limp towards her.

Julienne felt exhausted and absolutely disheartened that the youma had escaped most of her best defense…though that was nothing compared to the overwhelming fear that gripped her when the child she was trying to protect threw a rock, and gained the youma’s full attention.
Perfect. If she had just stayed put and let Julienne handle this…well, perhaps this part of it all could have been avoided…as it was however.
“Child, that pen you picked up, you still have it right?” If she dropped it while picking up the stupid rock, Julienne was going to be quite cross indeed.
“I need you to hold it tightly and say Arthuradel Power, Make up!”
The cat ran at the youma, extending her claws and going right for the awful wolfish face. “You have the power to become a senshi, it’s time to use that power now!

"Ok." Alex stuttered as she held the pen up in the air. "Arthuradel Power, Make Up!" She yelled. She spun around in a ballerina-like dance as she was envelouped by light and warmth. She felt...stronger and faster, and she also felt like she had power now, the power to fight.
"Arthuradel Honorable Pistol!" The words to her magic appeared in her mind along with the motions she needed to follow to use it. As she held out her hand in the shape of a pistol at the youma, light and force coalesced at the tip of her finger. A blast of light fired out from her finger and stuck the wolf youma blasting it back from her and the cat. It howled in pain, as it struggled to stand back up. "Wow." She said looking at her hands in amazement. Was that real magic? she thought before noticing the wolf still trying to get back up.
Arthuradel ran up and delivered a jump kick on the youma like the heroes she loved watching on tv. Thanks to the cat's efforts the youma was already pretty injured and the kick was all that was needed to turn it into dust.
"Is...is it over, is it gone?" She asked no one in particular. "Miss kitty are you ok?" She asked turning her attention on the cat that had saved her.

Julienne was tired, but unhurt. She was glad the fight was over, and even gladder that the youma hadn’t been as powerful as it had first seemed. “It’s gone, Arthuradel, not to worry. You did a very good job, thank you for listening to me.”
Well…for listening to the powering up instructions, at least.
“To get back to your normal form, just think of who you are, think of who you are when you aren’t Arthuradel, and you’ll become that girl again. Now, you must be careful when you power up. There are creatures…creatures and people who are much worse than what we just fought. For a while at least, you should try to find someone stronger to go with you so you don’t get hurt. You are a chibi senshi, so your magic and strength are less than that of a fully fledged senshi, so you really must be careful, all right? I don’t want anything to happen to you, you’re my senshi now, so I feel quite protective.”
The Siberian got up and made her way to the chibi senshi, rubbing against her legs and beginning to purr. “I never want anything to happen to any of my senshi.”

Arthuradel nodded as she followed the Siberian's instructions and powered down back into Alexandra. "I promise I'll be careful." She agreed to the talking kitty though she didn't really think it was necessary. She had magic now what could possibly hurt her, after all she had taken that scary monster down hadn't she. "Thank you so much miss kitty!"
It was then that Alex heard a familar woman's voice. "Alex sweetie time to go home." Alex turned to see her mother dressed in her pantsuit, clearly just gotten off from work.
"Mommy!" Alex ran over and threw her arms around the older woman's waist in a big hug. Bending down Caitlin returned the hug giving her daughter a tight squeeze before she took her hand. She didn't like leaving Alex at school this but without Kailey it was probably the safest place. She looked around for her teacher and didn't see him, she would definitely be talking him about that later. She walked over to the bench where Alex's school bag had stashed. She noticed a strange looking cat, it didn't look feral but she also had never seen this cat around here before. Was Alex playing with her? She thought to herself, she didn't like Alex playing with strange animals what if she got hurt. but then again this cat didn't seem bothered by humans, maybe it was someone pet that ran away. Well none of this was really important she just wanted to get home and relax.
As they turned to leave Alex looked back and silently waved to the cat that had awoken her powers.
