◤ The leveling system here is very simple. For every level you gain, the Exp goes up by ten. So If you were level 5 you would need 50 Exp to become level 6. Once at level 6, you'd need 60 Exp to level up. So below is an example of the EXP needed to level up for levels 5-7.

Lv. 5=50 Exp to Level Up
Lv. 6=60 Exp to Level Up
Lv. 7=70 Exp to Level Up

Now that you know how much EXP you need per level to level up, let's talk about how you get Exp. Gaining Exp is very simple, for every post you make with your character (posting in the OCC or any topics that are not directly involved in posting with your character does not count towards this) gives you 1 Exp point for all your active party members (Pokemon that is currently with the trainer as their active party Pokemon in storage do not receive Exp). So in your post, you should have something that looks like this for the Exp portion of your Pokemon's information:

1/50 Exp [remember, if you need 50 Exp then your Pokemon is at level 5]

So now that you know about gaining Exp from a post, how else can you get Exp? Good question! Students will gain a certain amount of Exp from missions, attending classes, and events. Missions are vital to gaining Exp as well as gaining points to level up your individual rank and team rank. Individual Ranks and Team ranks are discussed in a separate topic, so just ignore those for now. Moving back to missions, after you complete a mission you will earn a certain amount of Exp to distribute to your Pokemon. Please note, your Pokemon do not get that EXP each, you have that amount of Exp to share among all of them so choose carefully! Here's an example:

You've gained 50 Exp points for completing a level D-mission. So you have to distribute that Exp to the Pokemon of your choice. So say I have a level 5 Torchic and a level 5 Weedle.

Weedle and Torchic have 0/50 Exp. I want to give Weedle half the Exp points I've gained from the mission I've just completed. So 25-50= 25 Exp points left. Now Weedle has 25/50 Exp.

Now that I've finished giving Weedle his share of Exp, the rest will go to Torchic. So I have 25 Exp points left unused, and thus the rest would go to Torchic like so: 25/50.

Now that you know how much Exp is needed per level, as well as how to distribute Exp appropriately you've finished up the Leveling system tutorial! Congrats and have fun! ◢
