 Savannah was restless, more than she had been in months. She paced and ran and screamed out her energy, but it was boundless. If Ace hadn't been there, she may have raced off a cliff in order to be free of it. Restlessness was her true foe and one that gripped her so tightly that she could do very little do shake it off.
Of course, that didn't stop her from trying. In fact, at present, she was trying to roll it off, her legs straight up in the air, flailing as she rolled from side to side on her back. From a distance wearing a look of bemusement, Ace stood."Let's go running again. If we run far enough, we're sure to run into another Soquili and challenge them to a fight or dare or something!"Savannah's sigh was part exasperation, part shriek. It wouldn't work, it never worked! Who was she going to find all the way out here!? No one! She had been running all day and they hadn't been very lucky so far, so why would that change so abruptly now? Huh?
But she could rarely say no to her familiar, since the feisty goat would surely ram her horns under her belly in order to get the mare moving. So, grumbling words of profanity, the mare rolled over, shook some of dirt from her back and stretched.
"Hope you realize I'm doing this for you, Ace. The only way that we're going to find someone out here is if they pop out from under the ground and I run them over." Her familiar shrugged and started running ahead of Savannah' giving the buckskin no choice but to follow. Who knew, maybe she would trample someone on this run. Maybe accidental murder would be the key to solving her boredom. Yeah right.
