After several days of driving and pretty much camping out and eating horrible food from gas stations, Moira finally drove up to the main gates of Sanctuary, the entire area giving her a mixed feeling of dread and coming back to a place you once called home. She had decided to not go down the roads that lead to her home that she had once shared with Vic, fearing what had become of it while she was alone as she wasn't fully ready for that whole package of emotions. Driving the car into a small lot across the road, she parked the jeep and turned it off, unbuckling and pocketing the keys before making her way through the main gate. It was going to be one hell of an emotional journey just walking through the grounds, as she had lived a good chunk of her happy memories within the grounds, while most of the ones she couldn't fully remember were in the mansions that wasn't too far off. She'd still have to visit that at some point.

Walking further into the grounds, she was happy that she had decided to take a break a couple hours away from the grounds, as it allowed her to arrive just around noon, which wasn't too bad, time wise. Though she was getting a little hungry. Maybe she could get something that wasn't awful gas station food.

"Will you please just look into it?"

She narrowed her eyes. #You will stop right now. Just because I spent time with the renegades does not make me your messenger. As for the other two points, you talk to Mirabelle. She is better equipped to find that out rather than myself. I am done with that. I just want to take care of Paige and Xeizii and that is final.# she signed furiously at him, a stern look in her eyes as she slammed shut the drawer on the desk and moved into his office to retrieve some items.

"Delilah, I need you." he spoke as he followed her into the office.

She turned on her heel quickly, #What you need is a reality check! You thought you could get away with pretending not to be her father and now you want to be one. Do not talk to me. You're repulsive the mental olympics you perform just to insult me. And even still you want me to search around for Deskri and Andy. Are you insane? Let your husband handle it. He's the one that's out their risking his life to keep places like this safe. So why don't you just sit tight, actually listen to Kreios and worry about yourself and the safety of this place. If you keep up with reckless behavior, you will end up dead and then where will be.#

Rhun was silent and sighed. "..Okay..." he answered, reaching behind his desk for some papers then moving to the front desk to fill up the drawers.

Making her way to the main building, her height and her general speed increase in general making it easier for her to traverse longer distances with relative ease, Moira opened the doors and looked inside. "Hello?" she called out, wondering if anyone would actually be here. She could never actually recall anyone being in any of the buildings before, aside from other kids and some random adults, but couldn't remember actual staff running about. But, if there was a headmaster, that would generally put him in the main building, right?

"Is anyone here?"

"..n-nobody of w-worth.." a faint voice came from the office.

Rhun shot a glare to the door. "Delilah!"

Delilah walked out of the office, glaring hard before noticing that the person who had asked the question wasn't Mirabelle, blinking with surprise and placing her hands over her mouth as she dropped the papers she was holding on the floor. She stared slightly wide eyed at Moira. "..y-you..."

Rhun shifted his red eyes to the woman who had entered then back to Delilah. "A friend of yours?"

She shot a concerned glance to Rhun. #Idiot, that's Alice's daughter. Are you kidding me?# she signed quickly then moved to Moira with a concerned look. "A-are you.. alright?"

Standing in the door more than a little awkwardly, Moira waved at Delilah, almost having forgotten that she worked and lived here at sanctuary. "Hey. I was given two choices, and out of the two, this seemed the less.... aggravating." she walked forward a bit, looking over to the man who was near her aunt, "I was told to come and check up on a man called Headmaster Rhun, is that, perchance, you?" she asked, tilting her head and holding out her hand for him to shake, if he so took it.

Delilah couldn't help but grin from beneath her medical mask as she held back a snicker.

"...check up o-..." he seemed perplexed and glanced at Delilah then back to Moira. He blinked for a bit, looking confused. "Yes, I am Headmaster Rhun.... may I ask who requested that you check up on me?" he quirked a curious eyebrow, not exactly sure what was going on.

Seeing as he didn't bother to take her hand, she ran it through her mess of hair, changing her stance a bit as she leaned harder on her right leg, her pose now making it quite obvious that she was lacking a left arm. "They would like to consider themselves a benefactor of sorts. It's just something I was sent out to do and as this area holds a lot of memories and things I'd like to do while I'm here and on the way back, I decided to take this task over the other one. I must say though, it has been quite awhile since I've stepped foot on these grounds, what all has changed since it was once called the Academy?" she asked, tilting her head a little bit, smiling.

Delilah moved forward to take over the conversation as Rhun seemed utterly confused. "...not m-much has changed h-here... Just a s-sanctuary now... n-no classes..." she commented calmly. "Are you v-visiting or s-staying?"

Rhun ran a hand through his hair as he tried to wrap his mind around it, almost completely caught of guard by the mention of it. Blinking a bit, he exhaled and collected himself. "...I recognize you... You're Moira... Alice's daughter?" he asked, glancing over to the large painting of her that hung on the wall of the main entryway.

Moira smiled, listening to Delilah talk patiently, "Visiting for a couple days, I do need to do a couple things here myself, then I'll be off. I wasn't actually given a set..time as to how long I was supposed to be here, so just a couple days should be fine." as she finished talking, she turned to look over to Rhun and nodded, though her expression changed a little bit, squinting at him. "Yes, Alice was one of my biological parents. I had originally wanted to talk to her about things once I had gotten out until I found out she had died." she followed Rhuns glance to the painting, a small frown creasing the edges of her lips before she looked back.

Delilah shot a glare to Rhun for mentioning Alice like that. Insensitive little-.. A slight exhale of exasperation for having to deal with this utter buffoon, she looked to Moira. "I c-can set you u-up in one of t-the spare h-houses... it has b-basic furnishings... if you'd like..." she offered then. She then frowned at the comment about Alice, regret hanging within herself.

Rhun frowned, "...I'm sorry for you loss, even if it was a long time ago... I don't think anyone expected it... I hope.. you enjoy your stay." he voice was soft, almost pained and defeated as he bowed and moved back into the office.

Delilah watched him then looked back to Moira. "I... had m-more to say... w-when we l-last spoke... m-maybe we should.. t-take a walk.." she suggested, then skirted around the desk and paused, looking down at the papers she dropped. Yeah, Rhun could pick that up... Give him something to do over sulking about being an idiot. She sighed and continued moving, hoping to lead Moira out of the building and out towards Alice's grave.

Looking over to Delilah, she nodded, "That would be wonderful." though as she looked to Rhun, he wondered if he was unaware that she was never really on good term with Alice, even before her death. She was fairly certain that was more than likely on her files, if the still had them. If not, most people who had interacted with her family would have realized that easily. "Ah, right, you did. I was going to ask about that, but a lot o things just sort of happened all at once, didn't it?" Moira asked with a chuckle, following Delilah as she lead her to the grave.

Once they were out of the building, she looked over to her aunt, "I'm sure you can guess it was Zaku who sent me. He just said to check up on the headmaster to make sure he didn't kill himself, s**t himself, or both. I'm not sure why he couldn't just call." Moira sighed and rolled her eyes. Well, at least she was getting some fresh air.

They walked along the paths for a while, as she listened to Moira reveal the mysterious benefactor was exactly who she thought. Not only that the comment that followed caused her to stop immediately in her tracks and she cracked up laughing hard. Honestly, she hadn't laughed at all in almost a decade now. Maybe Zaku wasn't so bad after all. His humor certainly was something she welcomed by this point. That was great. "...kn-knowing them... th-their phone calls are l-less than c-civil..." they continued along for a bit more before breaking off toward a patch of tree that opened up to overlook the ocean. On the cliffside, sat "F-first... this i-is where her b-body was b-buried... L-lucy and I b-buried her when e-everyone l-left..." she explained.

She took a deep breath, looking at Moira with a frown that could be seen at the corners of her mask. "T-the thing I w-wanted to t-tell you.... w-was I th-think she c-came back... I spent t-twenty years alone r-reading Dr. K-kae's journals... about M-manes and Malices.. I am f-fairly certain that he s-spirit returned in the b-body of R-rasiel's daughter... " she spoke softly and calmly, her gaze shifting to the grave covered with flowers. "I k-know that it s-seems impossible b-but Kae... she w-was trying to g-get her back l-like that b-before... either s-she some had a h-hand in this and s-succeeded.. or this is a v-very rare c-coincidence..."

Still following, Moira smiled when she heard her laugh - it was always nice to listen to someone laughing, more so when it seemed like it was desperately needed. Though as they walked over to the grave, she looked it over and she just stared. It was still something that she was coming to terms with herself, knowing that her own mother, no matter how much she had originally hated her, was dead. Moving to sit in front of the grave, Moira listened to her talk, brows furrowing a little bit as she took it all in. "I don't...even know what a Mane or Malice is.." she admitted, her eyes just glued on the grave as her thoughts ran off on their own, trying to figure out what she would even say to her mother if she had the chance to actually talk to her again.

Delilah seemed to frown as she closed her eyes and carefully removed her mask from her face, her expression growing quite serious and stern. "Th-they are spirits of th-those that once l-lived... If the s-soul is strong enough.. Th-they can force th-themselves to stay in th-this world. Metas l-like you or I have s-some kind of pocket in our s-soul that a-allows those st-strong spirits to c-connect to each other... Those that die with a-anger in their h-hearts turn to M-malice's.... and those that die w-with regret become M-manes. They st-stay to fufill a p-purpose... If they c-complete why th-they stayed, they g-get to pass on... But if th-they garner enough p-power within their h-host, they can s-separate and continue the l-life they once h-had...R-rasiel's daughter.. I met her... she has a Mane that b-barely remembers her previous l-life... but I'm c-confident that it's A-alice..." she explained calmly, her voice steady and absolute as she showed no doubt about what she spoke.
