Röte marched about the pride taking in all the sites. Even since he was born the pride seemed to be constantly expanding, heck one of their leaders had recently had a litter of her own. Röte couldn't be happier the adolescent male had been raised in a home that had an endless supply of pride when it came to their home and traditions.
Röte smiled thikning of his parents, he had always loved hearing their stories of how they met, the time apart, the time in a different pride and then finally coming back here to home where they finally started their family. The white and pink male smiled, he was a big romantic at heart, just barely a teen and already imagining a life and family of his own in the pride.

Muhuri`Hatma was up early and out as quickly as she could. There were days where she found herself glued to her Mothers hip, not by choice, and typically given tasks she'd rather not do. Though her Mother tried to make it seem innocent she knew there was more to the actions than were let on. She was determined to make this day different, to make something of her time. Her leaving was success, during that time she hadn't noticed that Röte was also out and about himself already.
In fact it wasn't until she spotted the familiar pelt that she realized she hadn't been the only one to get out, so to speak. "Röte!" The adolescent lioness gave a quick holler, a friendly smile spread onto her maw. "Enjoying the morning?"

The white and pink male turned quickly at the sound of his name. A smile spread on his lips when he saw one of his sisters coming his way. He was a little surprised to see Muhuri out and about on her own. He changed corse and headed towards his sister, he didn't have anything planned but to bum around looking a things it would certainly more fun with his sister around.
"Muhuri" he greeted her giving her a nuzzle as he came up to her. "I see you have ditched the parental units." Röte said with a laugh in his voice. He wasn't sure how Muhuri felt about always being with their mother but he figured now was as good of a time as any to find out.

When the smile was returned she felt elated - he wasn't about to turn around and send her right back to the den. If that had come up she'd have likely chosen to run, though she wouldn't have the foggiest where as it seemed that their Mother and likely their Father had eyes all over.
"Finally." Muhuri spoke with a deep sigh of relief that was likely far more dramatic than it needed to be. "I've been looking forward to a day away from responsibilities for a while now. This was my first opportunity." She had half a mind to ask him his opinion on the matter, but decided to leave it at that.
"Did you have anything exciting planned for the day?"
First day off and her mind was drawing a blank. What were her own ideas for the day? None, there was nothing, oh what a bore she had turned to.
