Aegis had only one option when the war began, join the side with the most just cause. Shen was not just, his methods were wicked and cruel. That was not how a leader should deal with their subjects. Aegis had unfortunately not been around when Shen had made his declaration. Perhaps he could have done something in kind. So here he had joined the group who sought to overthrow shen and restore a fair and just rule. Aegis was a warrior and a protector he was not a healer, or advisor. He only knew how to live as he was. He sought to help others in the best way he could. Recently he had caught a glimpse of something, or someone following the group. It was his turn on guard duty once again and this time he would find them. So through the familiar tropical forests he traveled through the tropical underbrush.
"Hello!" he called out in his strong deep voice. His voice was kind though intimidating "I know you are there I've seen you, would you come out?" he paused listening to the silence he flicked his ears back "I won't hurt you." he added trying to sound softer.
