Eyes flashed open as he thought he heard a twig snap but he was quickly assured it was just some local wildlife as the wind brought the scents of the outside world into the safety of the cave. Unfurling his tail from in front of his face he lifted his head and looked over towards his brother. Stretching his legs out in front of him he dug his claws into the cool stone in front of him and then stood up. He wasn't exactly hungry yet but he knew he would be in a little while. Figured he might as well wake up Moro and the two could go out and see what all there was. "Hey. Do you want to go find some food?"

One ear twitched as the snap of twig rung out in his dream. He knew it was the animals of the forest and fields. He gave a light yawn as he stretched out his paws, red claws showing through the black fur. The cool stone felt good against his fur, but alas he would have to get up from the ground to find some nourishment. He blinked the sleep from his eyes as he rose to his feet. He stretched once more before giving a quick shake to be rid of the tiny rocks. His stomach slightly growled as his twin brother asked him about food. "Sounds like a good plan to me. I'm starting to get hungry." Moro had said with a hint of tiredness in his voice. He looked out from the cave entrance to scope out a good area to forage. "How about near the river? We could catch some fish or small birds." He suggested. WC :: 159

Satisfied with his brothers words he gave a nod of his head. "I think that sounds like a good idea. We may even find some pheasant eggs!" He said a little too excited about the thought of eggs. They were indeed a tasty treat but finding them was no easy task. Since it seemed they had a plan of action Ashi took this as a sign they should head that way and he exited their little abode and made his way towards the river, making sure his brother wasn't too far behind. "Would you like me to catch some fish or help you with some bird hunting?" He asked him.

"Oh I really hope we can find some pheasant eggs! They were great with some fish and berries!" Moro said as he became excited in wanting to find an awesome breakfast with his twin brother, Ashi. He followed after his brother to the creek, thinking about what would be a good plan to use. "Perhaps we should split up, so we could get as much food as we can! I'll catch the fish. Hopefully I can find some big ones today!" He said with a huge toothy grin and his tail wagging in excitement. His mind hatched a brilliant idea before his brother could go off to find some birds. "Ooo! Oh don't forget to meet me back here so we can find some berries or smell good leaves!" He added then trotted off towards the creek to begin his mission for breakfast. WC :: 143

It was almost insane how alike the two were, besides their appearances. Being with Moro was like being with another part of himself, it wasn't exactly something he could put a label on. Either way he never wanted to know what his life would be like without his brother at his side and he doubted he ever would. At the mention of berries he gave a smile and a nod of his head. How could he forget berries and some fresh mint! "We must find some mint too!" He said excitedly thinking of what a breakfast the two of them would share together.
Splitting up was a good idea, they could definitely find more stuff that way. "Good idea! you get the fish and I'll track down some eggs if possible and maybe even some berries or mint leaves while I'm at it." Giving a nod of his head he split off from his brother once they hit the stream. Looking around for a moment he found a bird nest that had fallen from a tree and a forked branch to place it on as a makeshift basket to carry anything he found.

Moro gave a wide fanged smile as his brother talked about breakfast. He watched him head off to find some eggs. His mouth became watery at the thought of food. He needed to get to work and collect some fish, even if it was only two this go-around. He swiped, clawed, and even snapped at some trout that would swim in the creek after mating season. They were awfully small, but more than one for each foal should fill them up nicely. His tail swished back and forth as he watched the fish carefully. He swiped a slightly larger trout onto the creek edge; biting it until it didn't move any longer. He chuckled then went back to clawing out more until he felt his task was complete. WC :: 128

Khaalida had been walking through the thinning woodlands, her talons clicking against the hard ground as they stalked along. She was searching for some potential food but what they came across was something much, much better. She towered above the pawed figure before them and she cocked their head to the left and pondered a few things. Mainly if the morsel before them was edible, but the equine nature of the young foal made her think that they could have use for it. "You don't look like food.." She said it as a statement not so much as a question as she gazed down at the little wolf. He was the first of his kind she had seen. He didn't smell like food either. WC: 124
