Chimera Industries is the latest scientific company to work on combining animal dna and human dna. They aren't wanting to create monsters or defy laws of creation so they did what they could to basically keep everything low key and such. They weren't getting very far in trying to find a combination to create new white blood cells or cells that can be used to make medicines to help cure diseases that can't be cured properly with artificial methods. They couldn't get any combinations that worked to allowing the two dnas to co-exist without mutations. They couldn't get any official science to work so when they finally got the construction of the internationally waters facility finished, they started working on some riskier methods of science when one day they got results. They discovered a splice of dnas that had no predictions of mutations so they decided it was best for a test subject. No one willingly agreed till a female scientist was picked and she was given the treatment to be given an egg to become pregnant with. Her fiancee is also one of the biologists working in the project who wanted to see it work but was cautious of her. She was implanted with one egg but during the first month, they learned that the egg turned into multiple children and that mutations did occur. They worried about this becoming an issue for the mother only she also began to have some strange side effects, her body began to absorb the foreign dna to keep from rejecting the foreign children in her body. Ethan was in the little doctor's lab that was set up in the facility connected to their apartment like condo they were staying in. Ethan would have rather gone home but they made this condo like home for a reason. He needed to monitor Marcie as she carried the specimen in her belly. He was nervous both because it was a human child that was to have bunny dna, which considering the name of the company kind of worried him. Stack that on top of him and Marcie technically becoming parents. They had needed to get the experiment going so Ethan had been trying to get their wedding planned but it was up to Marcie if they got married during or after the experiment. Ethan was sitting in the 'doctor's office' like room where they could run physical's and check on Marcie's health which he was waiting on her. He had let her sleep in a bit seeing as it was already a month into the experiment since she was implanted with the fertilized egg, which he was rather glad to examine her today as her belly was showing a good amount.

Marcie had mix feelings about the experiment she knew that it could have negative effects on her and the baby,but she also knew in order to get this experiment going they needed a willing subject which didn't seem like was going to happen any time soon so she volunteered for it. She was also how ever excited that she was going to become a mother, it was one of her many dreams she had as a kid, she wanted a big family, because well she was an only child while she was growing up and wished she had a sibling. I had been a month since the implanted the egg in her and she was feeling the consequences of being a pregnant woman. She was glad to sleep In but once she woke up it was straight to the bathroom for her, her body not taking kindly to the first month of pregnancy. She walked down to the doctors office like room where her fiancée was sitting "good morning Hun" she said and walked over to kiss him on the forehead her once flat and toned stomach was now a bump and her breasts which were on the lower b-cup side were noticeably larger as well "bet your excited today." She said laughing and sat her self up on the table

Ethan looked at her when she walked into the room, he could tell she had a rough wake up to the morning but was use to it by now. He smiled at her kiss to his forehead as he looked to her, "Good morning to you love, how did you sleep?" he asked as he thought about her question, "I am excited and nervous at the same time, both about the experiment and being a father but I am happy to be with you all the same." He stated sincerely as he went and began to get the tools to examine her. He would check her normal vitals to make sure she was healthy and now showing any side effects aside from the normal pregnancy side effects and so far nothing was too out of the ordinary. He did notice something strange but it was barely anything, just a bit more of a chemical her body naturally created. He knew that it was a bit un-nerving to inject her with the serum that would allow her body to accept the foreign dna in the egg but hoped that it wouldn't hurt her in the long run, "So far so good." He said as he continued with the physical.

"I slept as well as I could, just a little trouble getting use to this bump."she said laughing and rubbed it with her hands "that's good to hear, nothing unusual? Not even in the smallest bit cause we both know something small can turn into something big." She said half joking at her self how a tiny egg could make something so big. "How does it feel to be your own fiancées Doctor?" She asked as he injected the serum into her arm, it pinched a but but she knew she was going to have to get use to that like she has with the morning sickness. "I'm excited to see how the baby or babies are doing." She said with a giggle

Cody looked at her when she giggled but nodded, "Its a bit nice but I can't get away with charging you more money for checkups since it comes out of my wallet as well." He joked as he thought at how she looked, "How many do you think that you are having? Its a bit too early for an ultrasound to really see how many are currently growing inside of you." he said as he knew that it wouldn't be till the second month or so to be able to see how many we're growing inside of her.

"I don't know" she said and looked down at the bump that was once a flat stomach "I hope not to many considering the DNA that was mixed in." She said with a slight laugh knowing how bunnies breed and how they can get out of hand "what's your guess on how many, Mr.doctor." She said teasing eh fiancé she again looked down at the bump and womdered if she she get married to Ethan like this or wait till it's over, she didn't know what was going to happen to her in the long run, so maybe getting married as soon as they could was a good idea

He wasnt sure what to say about that, "Well to be honest, im not sure. The point of the experiment was inject a small amount of bunny dna to alter certain characteristics. We have gotten it done with several tests and simulations that it should allow the child to be more agile and have higher endurance. Unfortunately the only wild card we couldnt account for is cell division so it could be one or more... if more though, i could only imagine 3 at the most? Im not for sure though." He said hinestly to her as he looked at her, "Something on your mind?" He asked gently to her.

Marcie looked up at him, "quit being such a scientist and come here". She said and leaned forward grabbing his hand and placing it on her stomach. He was being so technical it was like he was a robot. She then tilted her head, "Are wedding, I-I think I want to have it as soon as we can." She said and place her hand on his and rubbed it a bit. "With everything going on it would be nice to get something out of the way so that we have less to worry about." She said with a sweet smile as she looked at him with her light red brown eyes.

He laughed as she took his hand and placed it on her stomach, which he got up and wrapped his other arm around her as he gently rubbed her belly, feeling her hand over his, "I know, but even though this is an experiment, its still our child or children. With this being something new, i dont want anything bad happening to your or our family." He said but as she spoke, "Thats fine by me, i can have the wedding set up in no time, when would you like it?" He asked curiously. (Did we figure out how many and it could be interesting if on the day they pick for the ceremony that near the end of it, she feels weak and ill as her body changes to gain the rabbit additions?)

"I know but you don't need to sound like such a robot." She said with laughter she leaned her head on his shoulder and thought for a moment "how about sometime next month so I have some time to get use to this belly." She said with another giggle, she lifted her head up the stood up and looked at Cody "ok now that that's done breakfast, what do you want this morning? Eggs, bacon, waffles, pancakes, oatmeal, and omelet?" She was quit hungry herself, more than she usually was before experiment and that was something she was going to have to get use to too. (( let's go with twins, and I think that's a great idea, should she have small bunny ears?))

He smiled as she giggled and leaned her head against his shoulder. As she spoke and mentioned breakfast, he laughed, "Well you know that i like all of your cooking, surprise me." He said as he thought it over, "Hold about this, let me clean up hear and ill meet you in the kitchen, alright?" He offered thinking that he would need to clean what he had been testing. (Sounds good and i would imagine bunny ears and a small fluffy bunny tail, a playboy joke will be made >w<)

"Ok!" She yelled as she was already on her way to the kitchen she began getting everything she needed to cook. "Ok gotta eat healthier now." She said to herself "let's make some oat meal and a smoothie for me and a veggi omelette for him." She continued to talk to herself as she cooked and started to play some music and dance around a little bit, you could say she was just a little excited about this experiment and the fact she was going to be married next month

It didnt take long for him to clean up as he soon walked into the apartment closing the small labs door leaving his lab coat inside. When he got to the kitchen, he sniffed the air, "Mmm, smells nice in here." He stated as he looked at what she was making, he was happy that she knew how to cook healthier, seeing as she and her baby or babies would need a more vegitarian diet for a bit since he didnt want to mess with the new dna in her body.
