We could be talking about either of them here, honestly.

Sascha was equal parts thrilled to be at the Coliseum and pissed that he hadn't come there sooner. It was like the Four Fronds city planner had designed it with him in mind. Sascha could have summoned a tear at the beauty of it all, but he was way too busy screaming at the redblood in the ring to clobber their opponent.

"KNOCK HIS HORNS OFF!" He yelled, punctuating with a punch to the air in demonstration. He'd long since forgotten what seat his ticket was for. Sascha had spent the entirety of the match pinned to the edge of the balcony. His premortem nonsexual liquid containment unit list was now topped with "participate in a coliseum match," followed closely by "win a coliseum match," and "achieve record-breaking popularity rankings in coliseum matches." Fourth place was "write and star in own stage play."

Practically glittering with second-hand adrenaline and realized dreams, Sascha continued whooping and crowing for his sportstroll of choice.

Forera had only dreamt of places such as these, but after hearing a rumor, she was desperate to join. After hearing it was in Four Fronds, Forera faltered, of course, but held in her hesitant fright-- After all, this type of place was quite literally her favorite thing ever.

      The Coliseum.

So she'd donned her disguise. It'd been a while since the tealblood had gone out in public, teal streaks in her hair outgrown, body covered by the long, thick material practically molded to her skin. Her gauntlets were hastily pinned up hiding the color of her gloves-- She was going as a dark blue blood, so as to not gain suspicion from the others in the crowd. She adjusted her glasses, running a hand over the pierced areas of her skin lightly before swallowing and relaxing herself somewhat. She was in hiding, trying hard to act different than she normally did, a little humbler or something... But of course, she just had to pick a place where fighting was the main event.

So when the battle began, Forera was the first one out of her seat.

She screamed and cheered and bellowed for her troll of choice, jumping up and down over the crowd, still a tiny force to be reckoned with as she pushed past all the trolls who struggled to get in front of her-- No one would ruin this moment for her! "KICK'IM IN THE KNEEEESSS!! MAKE ******** CRYYYY!" She bellowed, practically shaking the nearest troll and laughing from excitement and the rush of it all. She could feel the sweat and excitement from all the trolls in the field, body vibrating and bouncing from each cheer, boo, or scream. "YOU GOOOTTT THISSS!"

Sascha was having the time of his life. Disguise or not, he probably wouldn't have noticed Forera at all in his fervor if she just weren't so. damn. loud. Sascha's head reflexively snapped in the direction of the screaming. He felt the rage before he knew what was causing it.

Everyone was kicking up a fuss, but only one of them was tiny with asymmetric crescent horns. Unthinkingly, Sascha shoved his way into the aisle and down the stairs. He roughly grabbed Forera's shoulder to get her attention among all the commotion. After all this time, the hell was Sascha going to let her ignore him.

"YOU!" Sascha bellowed before realizing... he hadn't actually thought beyond this point. All her really wanted to do was pick Forera up and shake her, but that wasn't entirely feasible. At least, it wasn't without getting kicked out of the coliseum.

Forera dealt 6 damage.

In the rush of the commotion, the tealblood was suddenly grabbed by a firm hand, defenses kicking up immediately as the smile fell from her face. "He-LLO, trying to watch a game-- here...?" It took her a minute to realize what was happening-- Who was this weird yellowblood, and why was he calling her out?! He looked like he was wearing military clothes, was he-- A drone-in-training? Did they already see through her disguise?! He was all burned up and stuff, too, but--

Wait. Those horns. She remembered a cowboy hat falling upon them, and a lot of annoying whining coming from it. She blinked, looked up and down.

She was so surprised at his drastic change, her first instinct was to simply punch.

She didn't even realize her hand reeling back for the kill. Her eyes were wide, her nervousness and anxiety escalating, and the first thing on her mind was-- Punch. Who could blame her, when the only thing on her mind right there and then was fighting?! Her eyes watched in slow motion as the gauntlets collided with his face, almost like a rabbit punch. Forera felt the crunch before she saw the blood, an almost beautiful display of marksmanship on her part before she pulled back, realized what she'd done among the rage and adrenaline of the crowd, and gaped for a second. She then bolted when she'd realized what she'd done, hoping that her strength kept him down for enough time for her to get lost in the crowd.

Sascha hadn't gone in expecting anything. Somehow he felt he should have still seen that one coming.

Yellow filled Sascha's vision as blood practically exploded from his face. He'd seen Forera turn, felt her shoulder under his hand, and then the cold force of a hammer clocking him in the jaw. He stumbled across the stairs of the aisle while Forera made her escape. His cries of pain were muffled by his gloves cradling his face and the sheer amount of blood pouring from his mouth and nose. Removing his hands resulted in a tangible splashing against the concrete. Sascha looked down to his palms only to see a handful of pointed teeth protruding like icebergs from the puddle of blood he'd managed to collect. Sascha realized he didn't know if the numb sensation from his mouth was from the shock or if there simply wasn't anything in his mouth left to be in pain.

It had been clearly established by this point that Sascha's reaction to indignity was not one of cool, calculated planning. The crowd split down the aisle to dodge Sascha as he very nearly flew up the stairs and out into the lobby. Yellow speckles dotted the slick tiles, further inciting Sascha to burst through the Coliseum's exterior doors.

Sascha wheeled down the street in time to catch sight of Forera's retreating form. She may have had a head start, (as well as a fist made out of ******** STEEL,) but Sascha had no reason to be deterred. This wasn't the bullshit kiddy stuff of sweeps past. It was time to pull out "the big guns."

Red sparks crackled from Sascha's body, streaking towards Forera much faster than either troll could run. The contact resulted in a surprisingly mild tingling sensation... followed by a sudden lurch. Sascha stood his ground, braced for impact as he all but wrenched Forera back towards him and his waiting right hook. HE COULD PUNCH TOO, b***h.

Sascha does 10 damage!

Forera dealt 3 damage.

Forera could feel her disguise slowly come apart, ponytailed hair a frazzled mess, skin gleaming with a light sweat. She was trying her best to run, and thankfully, no one got in her way-- If they had, she'd've punched them out of the way. She was back on the run, not being allowed even a moments rest with how dire of a situation this was-- He must've been part of the government, must've been ready at the drop of a hat to find her, find her and take her in. She couldn't give up. She needed-- She needed to l--

And suddenly, Forera was being thrusted backward like a poorly made roller-coaster, a numbing feeling surrounding her body. Red sparks surrounded her, and for a moment, the tealblood was disoriented as she snapped back to the Coliseum with wide eyes and a flailing body. As her body turned in position, the tealblood didn't realize until the last second how much of a bad situation she was in. Did they have some sort of ray gun-- "--NGH!" The hand that slammed into her side made her snarl in pain, jaw clenching as an aching wave of anger washed over her. That punch took out half her strength, she was sure. She fell limp to the ground, knowing exactly how bad that punch was going to bruise later. Forera clenched her shark-like teeth in anger, turning back on the other with cutting, dangerous eyes. She stood up, tiny in front of his tall form, but obviously uncaring. She clenched her fist again, grinding her teeth together before voicing her anger. "What do ********' want, kid." He wasn't a kid anymore, that much was obvious, but as she stood, she remembered how easily angered he was from her past annoyances. "Lookin' for me t'scream in yer gogdamn ear again or for somethin' more explosive?" After all, he looked like a burn victim. Especially with eyebrows like that! It was almost funny.

Forera, however, didn't wait for his response, using those precious seconds to slam a kick to his knee with her steel-toed boot. If she was able to disable him, even if temporarily(once more), she'd be able to get away and not have to kill him for seeing her and trying to catch her. Obviously she didn't know his intentions, but in her position, she always had to assume the worst.

"The hell is your ******** PROBLEM!?" Sascha shouted through a mouth that contained more blood than teeth. The second Sascha had gotten Forera's attention, she'd decked him, bolted, and was now screeching at him. He'd only been anticipating one of those things.

And then she kicked him, which, by this point, Sascha should have also expected. He yowled and stumbled. Both trolls were now struggling to get off the ground. Sascha snarled as he made eye contact with Forera.

Sascha spat at Forera's feet for emphasis. He paused as he found himself close enough to take note of what Forera was wearing. "...Or are you."

It wasn't a question. The fire had fried Sascha's body, not his brain. The teal symbol, teal outfit, teal hair, and a dozen shiny piercings had made the Forera of sweeps past damn hard to forget. Hemoanonymity was one thing, but faking your blood color, and pretending to be a highblood at that. That was a culling offense--if she hadn't done something worse to make THIS seem like a good idea.

The pieces were falling into place. Understanding why Forera was jumpy enough to suckerpunch him didn't make Sascha anymore sympathetic. It did, however, take the edge off the pain in his mouth. At least, enough for him to smirk.

Sascha pushed himself back onto his feet. He wobbled on his weak knee, but paid the injury no mind. It was nothing compared to what Forera was in for.

The red haze of psionic energy returned. It gripped nothing, but was enough to give weight to the immediate atmosphere, like an oncoming storm. Like a threat. Sascha stared down at Forera, prepared to throw her again at the slighted provocation.

"What do you get up to when you're not running your mouth at carnival games? Honest question."

Sascha does 7 (6 + 1 recurring offensive power) damage!

Forera dealt 12 damage.

Forera's eyes flashed with anger when her mental stability was questioned, something that was a soft spot to her ever since she'd talked with Cerpin. She wanted to correct him, to say she'dve harmed anyone regardless of their blood color, but kept her trap shut for fear of him having more leverage. Also to conserve energy-- Forera coughed a little, breathing sounding a lot more like wheezing. She didn't focus on the pain, letting the ache fuel her anger as it coursed through her veins. She still had her strength. Even if she didn't have energy, she knew she could still pack a punch. She stood as straight she could, crooked glasses looking hardly as dangerous as they used to. His smirk only added more fuel to the flames of her anger, an intense scowl on her face as her lips curled into a wide, dangerous smile reserved for only those who'd crossed the line.

Sascha seemed to think he could scare or intimidate her. Boy, was he wrong.

"Wouldn't you like t'know?" As she spoke her last word, her arm shot like a bullet, fist aiming to uppercut his jaw and take him off guard. The tealblood winced at the movement of her side before stepping back a little to make some space between the two of them, sharp teeth curled into a wide grin as a line of teal dribbled on her chin. "What's it t'ya, anyways?! You've got nothin' t'do with me. Why're you suddenly so interested?" Forera snarled, cracking the knuckles on her actual hand and then rolling her shoulders, staying on guard. Her eyes took on a playful tint, giggling loudly. "Y'got a crush on me? Huuuuhh?"

Sascha should have learned by now that Forera's fight instinct far surpassed her impulse for flight. He'd been standing too close. His grip had been too weak. Sascha's jaw shot skyward and he thought for sure he felt his horns connect with his shoulder blades.

The pressure on Forera popped like a balloon. Sascha appeared to be short circuiting if the random flashing and sudden diffuse of sparks around his skull were any indication. He dropped his head back down into his glove, looking as though he were trying to hold his jawbone to his face. What little concentration he could salvage from the head injury he used to hold himself upright on his feet. Well, that and attempt to stab Forera to death with his eyes.

"If thith how 'ou g'eet ole acquai'nces I theel 'EAL ba' 'or your thriends. Or accomplithez 'r whate're 'ou call 'em." Sascha probably had a time limit until his jaw swelled itself stiff. He hadn't bit his own tongue off, however, so he was taking what advantage he could of the situation. "'OU're the 'ne who made i' phythical, dumbath. No' a smart move fo' a criminal."

Sascha felt his vision start to swim. The renowned first-aid care of the coliseum staff only did him any good if he was actually on the premise. He didn't want to risk passing out for the sun to find halfway back to the gates. Retreat was as necessary as it was unbearably frustrating.

Sascha jabbed a thumb over his shoulder in the direction the two of them had come. The motion was enough to make him wobble on his feet. "Don' care 'bou' 'ou bu' I'M gon' go ge' gov'men' thponthored injury treadmen' like a contribudin' member o' society." Even without eyebrows, the look of pure disdain across Sascha's battered face rang loud and clear. He disguised his knees buckling as a pivot to turn and walk away. "Go enjoy nod ge'in' the droneth called on 'ou for one more nigh'. I thee 'ou again, it's gon' be between 'ou an' them."

Forera immediately felt lighter after the punch, rubbing her dominant hand and flexing her wrist as she simply watched the other glare at her, eyes hard and firm. His words were almost incomprehensible, but what she understood was just dumb talk. Sure she was a criminal, but it wasn't like she'd done anything so disastrous! Except, er, pummel him. Oh, and the blood color thing. Also, rebellion stuff didn't really help... But! Other than that, really, she was innocent! She'd come to have fun, and this guy just ruined her night! He could've just-- Left her alone! She was better that way! Right?

Forera stiffened as he moved to walk away, watching the stumbling yellowblood with slightly nervous eyes. It was then that everything completely clicked-- Again? This was the third time she'd messed someone up to the point of actually ******** them up, and... She was starting to actually feel bad about it. Normally, she enjoyed beating people up, especially when it was a good, wholesome battle. Aerona deserved it, Etsali was just training, and... Sascha was-- Self-defense? "'OU're the 'ne who made i' phythical, dumbath." Wasn't he the one who attacked her? Or... Could it've been that he was just trying to greet her? But, why would he do that if-- Didn't she really annoy him before? Okay, she was thinking way too hard on this, especially somewhere that was a little too revealing for her liking. But...

Forera groaned inwardly, digging her hand in her bag, grabbing something and lobbing it directly at the back of Sascha's head. It wasn't a hard hit by any means, it was just enough to get his attention-- There, that should've been enough. A roll of bandages, ones she'd managed to conserve for a while and brought along just in case. "Whaaaat? I'm sorry-- 'couldn't understand ya! Too much blood in yer mouth, me thinks!" She began to walk backward before breaking into a run, immediately beginning to plan the path to her hive. She ignored the intense pain and each ache in her body, always striving for her own survival, no matter what.

Despite suffering what was technically a defeat, among other things, Sascha felt relatively smug as he left the scene. Wounds healed. Treasonous activity and being a general public nuisance, not so much. They were words Sascha kept repeating to himself as he set forth to walk off his stupid, embarrassing injury.

He hadn't even made it around the corner when a light pressure bounced off the back of his head. While his skull wasn't that tender, it was enough to startle Sascha into spit-taking with his own blood. He whipped around to see Forera run off into the distance. Further confused, Sascha looked around, then down at the ground to see what object had used his horns as a pair of goalposts.

Sascha picked up the roll of gauze. Despite being the single most familiar item known to the troll, examining it didn't resolve any of Sascha's curiosity. He looked over his shoulder in the direction Forera had booked it. She was long gone. Sascha sighed a deep breath that spoke to the long list of events that lead up to that moment. He pocketed the gauze and continued his walk, somehow feeling strangely less smug than before.
