"Almost there!" With a bounce in her step, a yellowblood walked with a happy impatience. Swinging a bag with each stride, the girl chattered excitedly about how she couldn't wait any longer. Long hair pulled back into a cascade of ponytails, the troll grinned back at her companion.

"You're gonna love her, she's so nice!" Scorpa declared, almost ordering the other that she had no choice. Flydra seemed like she'd be a good match for Lorata. Scorpa badly wanted her new friends to get along. This weird grub in a box thing seemed the perfect excuse to drop by for a little help! Plus, truth be told, Scorpa had no idea what to do with the thing nor very much space back at her apartment in NHC. Civisect was a little intimidating but gorgeous and full of the types of people Scorpa wanted to befriend. Lorata being the main one.

"Here we are! Lorataaaa, open up!" Eventually leading the tealblood to an elegant door, the yellowblood knocked with a singsong lilt to her voice. Today was going to be awesome, no one could take this away from her!

Trailing behind Scorpa, Flydra walked while looking over the box in her hands. A robot grub was a strange project to work on but perhaps it would be worthwhile. The tealblood didn't care much about lusus appreciation, not because she didn't love Hydraddy but because her interest was more in trolls themselves. But it would be interesting to observe how the robogrub acted and study the behavior the empire expected from its citizens. If the thing turned out to be a major pain, she could just pack it up and send it back anyways.

"Mmm, I hope she's just as pretty as you said. Thanks for inviting me, Scorpa." The yellowblood had filled Flydra in on the most amazing seadweller she had met before and it intrigued her. It was no secret that Flydra was looking for a highblood to suck up to and Scorpa was even more obvious than her. To find one that was willing to give a lowblood a chance to hang around them was interesting and it sounded like Lorata was in the market for trolls with potential. Flydra liked Scorpa, she was fun and always said yes to all the tests she wanted to try on her. To be able to work with her for a highblood would be a dream come true.

"Hello, pardon our intrusion? We're here to help care for your grub-bot." As they were lower than her, it was their job to take care of tasks beneath this Lorata. Hopefully she would be as lovely as described and praise Flydra for her efforts. She had brought several books and a crate of supplies just for the job in hopes of impressing the purpleblood. She shot a glance at Scorpa, wondering what was in the bag she had brought, and decided it was a good thing she had brought extras just in case her friend had filled that purse with candy instead of anything useful. Scorpa was delightful to be around but she wasn't necessary smart or strategic it seemed.

Austri can bump into them or whatever you like!

The main reason Austri took the robo child was because she wanted to prove she could understand lusi, in the name of the Alternian Empire. Of course, she didn't regret it, but the damn wiggler was driving her crazy. The greenblood had fought, suffocated, and even ignored the robotic child for too long, and even after she said she'd given up on the damn thing, she couldn't help but feel a slight feeling of guilt. After all, how was she going to get the attention of the crown without trying her best? But it was just so weird... Now she sort of understood why Staglebro was the way he was. But she didn't forgive him.

It was his job to take care of her. Her job was to be the best.

      And the best needed attention.

After Bloodfest, Austri liked to think her relationship with Lorata was a little stronger. She was excited to see her again, so she'd planned on bringing her a little surprise-- A really nice painting she made of her-- as a present. Of course, it wasn't professional at all, but she'd put effort into it, which seemed to be enough. Unfortunately, she'd planned the day she'd visit on one of the days the robot children were distributed to the public. She'd forgotten to change it on her calendar, and when she went to check... Her next few days were already full. She could take the risk of her robot kid messing everything up, or, she could come a few weeks later, when Lorata would already forget her.

      She chose the latter.

Of course, during Bloodfest she'd found out Lorata's new address simply by requesting it. She lived a lot closer now-- Civisect wasn't close of course, but it was easier to get there than to physically swim into the ocean. So Austri headed over, expecting a night full of cheerful excitement and shared giggles, compliments, and becoming better friends.

Instead, Austri was met with a small surprise outside her door.

A yellowblood and a tealblood, also equipped with the robochildren, knocking on the purplebloods door. Like they knew her. Austri felt the grip on her robochild tighten, and would've gotten angry at the yellowblood, should she have been alone. She was, however, with a tealblood, and tealbloods were impressionable. So. Austri walked up to the group, eyes staring directly at them, making them know she was suspicious. "Uhmm, excuse me~?" She asked, stepping over toward them after dropping her robobaby on Staglebro's back, uncaring-- "Who are you guys? And why~ Are you bothering my friend's door~?" She asked, placing a hand on her hip and taking a weary glance up toward the robobot on her lusi's back, lifting her nose slightly. If they had buisness with Lorata, they had buisness with Austri. Lowbloods shouldn't interact with Lorata, especially one with such a loud and annoying gait. The tealblood was fine, however, even slightly stylish. But she could tell that the yellowblood would most definitely get on her nerves.

Lorata didn't know what to do. She'd been so excited, at first, when she'd seen the giant box on her doorstep. Getting mail hadn't been impossible back at her home in the ocean, of course, but it had still been a rare enough occurrence that she couldn't help the thrill she got every time something new was delivered. She been even more excited when she'd cracked the thing open and pulled out the little robogrub, so like the plushie she'd won in a past Bloodfest. Another cute toy for her collection, and, as she took the time to read the papers, a new game to play!

She followed the directions to a T, left the grub somewhere to activate, and chattered happily to MeduMa about how it was lusus appreciation day, apparently. Wasn't it silly that she hadn't heard til now? Didn't MeduMa think it was great to be appreciated? As usual, her lusus didn't seem to care much at all. At least, she didn't have anything at all to say about it. Lorata had kept chattering anyway for a little while, because it was normal enough, but eventually she'd wandered away to do something else. Something a little less lonely.

Day had come and gone and she'd climbed out of the recuperacoon to get ready for some fun. What she'd gotten, instead, once she'd gotten through her dusk routine and gone to check on her new child, had been the most awful sound she'd ever heard. She'd been about two seconds from screaming back at the thing when she heard someone at the door. Her first thought, as it came and went, was that if it was the delivery troll with another robogrub then they could just take them both and get out.

But then, of course, recognition of the familiarity of the greeting clicked in. Making a face at her robot, she hopped up and hurried over to the door. She was in the process of unlocking when the second voice came, and though it wasn't one she recognized, she definitely approved of what was being offered. After quickly running a hand over her hair to smooth any messiness caused by covering her spongeclots, she pulled the door open.

"Thank glub you're here, Scorpa! I was-" She paused, blinking. She'd expected one unknown, but she'd missed the third guest's voice! "Austri! You're here too!" Behind her the robot continued to wail. She resisted an urge to grit her teeth as she smiled at the trio. "I didn't know you two knew each other, that's wonderful! Who's your friend?" She pushed the door wider to allow them all into her apartment, if they wanted, and again realized another unexpected detail.

The tealblood had said they were there to help with her robogrub, yeah, but...Had they really all brought their own too? She couldn't even imagine four of the monsters.

'You're the bother!' Scorpa's smile disappeared at the greenblood's words, understanding the message quickly. She was barely above her in the caste, what a powertrip! Thankfully there wasn't much the brat could do to her with Flydra here. The tealblood came with the extra perk of beating out most other lowbloods and midbloods. She didn't know anything about Austri but she saw how her eyes flicked to Flydra and back before she sneered directly at her.

"Lorata!" The yellowblood beamed, her mouth turning into a cats smile as the seadweller said her name. It felt good to be acknowledged by the girl and even better for this to be rubbed in that greenblood's face. Her name was Austri, huh? Soon to be Adios!

"This is Flydra! She's a good friend and wicked at all this science stuff!" Scorpa chattered, as she entered the apartment behind their leader. It was so spacious and beautiful that she wondered just what else awaited them in the other rooms. As a seadweller, would she have a huge amazing bath tub in the bathroom? There had to be a chandelier somewhere in here too! It was all SO COOL!

"Oops, almost forgot!" Scorpa placed the bag she'd been carrying on a coffee table. She pulled out the second reason she'd come here, a struggling robot grub wrapped entirely in chains. The machine wiggled and gnawed at the binds that would only hold it for a little longer...

"Do any of you know what the ******** to do next with these things?"

They all wanted to know who she was and Flydra grabbed the ends of her skirt in a polite curtsy. Bowing her head gently to the beautiful seadweller, she showed respectful submission to the mysterious and charming Lorata Gorgos. She was even more delightful to see in person, Scorpa's stories were true and then some.

And the greenblood was cute as well. Austri, Lorata had called her. Something seemed to brew between the two lowerbloods but Flydra opted to stay out of it for now. Competition would be good for Scorpa, her new project. It would drive her to grow and surpass her normal limits. This Austri troll looked just as athletic and ambitious which would make for a good match. Sometimes a training partner accomplished more than the number crunching and diet alterations Flydra would recommend could. She gave the greenblood a polite smile and her eyes seemed to linger a little too long on Austri's own...

"Yes, I am Flydra Dromen. Scorpa and I are friends." The tealblood explained briefly before turning her attention to the horrid noisemaker that was her yellowblooded friend's robot wrapped up in chains and bound tightly in a torturous pose. Flydra wasn't sure who was suffering more at the moment: it or them having to hear it shriek.

"I noticed that giving them a shock quiets them down for a while." She hadn't been able to get her hands on a high voltage taser like she'd been hoping. But Flydra had been able to construct a small circuit that could give the damned robots a nasty shock to temporarily shut them down. They seemed to reboot remotely somehow so it would only buy them ten minutes at a time.

With Scorpa's somewhat contained, her own robot missing it's legs mysteriously and Austri's close to the greenblood, Flydra opted to crouch next to Lorata's robot, hook a strange clamp to the horns of the thing and flip a switch connected to something in her purse. A loud hum of electricity could be heard momentarily before the robot slumped over with a few sparks flying off of it. It let out a few motorized noises before falling completely still.

Hmm, perhaps it had been too strong. That was what she got for ripping the battery out of her microwave and using that. All she could do now was hope that Austri and Lorata would be impressed with her carnage rather than displeased with her miscalculation.

Hopefully it would turn back on again. Killing the robot baby was an acceptable option to Flydra but she didn't know the others very well yet.

Austri continued to stare at the two mysterious females curiously before Lorata finally opened the door. Austri almost began with a aloud and obnoxious 'Excuuse me~' once more to get their attention so they'd leave with Lorata's sight, but it seemed the purpleblood recognized the yellowblood, something that made Austri's face behind her facade reel in slight shock. Lorata was intentionally interacting with such a common colored chick! Not the tealblood, though. She was a little strange? But interesting, she guessed. She returned Lorata's smile with a charming one of her own before glancing over toward the lowblood and eyeing her a little suspiciously, unimpressed. "Actually~ I don't believe I know her, Lora, could you introduce me?~" She chose her words carefully, seeing as Lorata seemed to actually like and appreciate her presence, she'd have to be friendly to her too. What a bother. Lowbloods always ruined everything.

The greenblood looked toward Flydra as she eyed her a little longer than normal before raising an eyebrow and returning her gaze for the same amount of time the other had. "Hi Flydra! Science stuff is really cool, and you seem like it too~" She pointedly didn't mention Scorpa, but when she posed her question, Austri looked to her own robobaby, distaste heavy on her face. "It's a little terror, I say!~ I tried so hard with it, but--" Austri stopped as Flydra already began her trek inside, following after her with a skip in her step as she passed Scorpa, powers easily kicking in as she skipped and looked toward her with a smirk on her face. She then quickly turned her attention toward Stagbro as he stepped in awkwardly with a mini bow of his head toward the higherblooded trolls around her. Austri's eye twitched. She rolled her eyes before swiping her robobaby from his back and gesturing outside with her thumb-- He could wait there, duh! After a small brofist, Austri turned to the others and watched Flydra promptly begin to mess with something in her purse. She neared, only to jump backward, startled, as the robobaby fizzed out and slumped over. Austri's jaw dropped. Yep. Flydra was definitely her new friend! "Do that to mine too, pleaase, it's so exhausting!" She whined-- She hadn't destroyed hers like Scopra did, but the little thing was already beginning to vibrate. She didn't want it to explode. It might get on her!

"Flydra," Lorata repeated, turning her head back to the tealblood to get another good look at her. And right on queue, the new acquaintance was curtsying and seconding her introduction! The seadweller couldn't help clapping her hands together in delighted appreciation of the respectful greeting. "It's wonderful to meet you! Please, come inside, a friend of Scorpa is a friend of mine!" Really she didn't know much of anything about the kind of friends the yellowblood kept, but this one at least had potential! Scientific heroes were definitely probably a thing, right?

As she ushered all three of them inside, she caught Austri's question and tilted her head, a bit puzzled. "So you didn't all come together?" What a funny coincidence! Unless this was another of those fated moments like in the stories! The excitement was almost enough to drown out her robot child's shrill whining. "Let me introduce you then! Austri, this is Scorpa Devile, she saved me from certain harm not long ago." She sent Scorpa an approving smile that slightly faltered in confusion at the sight of her chained robot, but then she carried on.

"And Scorpa, this Austri Coriol. She also saved me from certain harm! You can see why I thought you might be friends already, right?" With a little giggle, she moved to Flydra's side to see what the tealblood was up to. She leaned over, but the spark of an electrical current had her stepping back again with a startled gasp. She watched it smoke a moment, waiting for it to twitch back to life, then glanced around at the others as it remained silent.

"Well." She wasn't sure if the robot was completely dead or not, but she couldn't deny the shock treatment had had a definite effect. "At least now it's quiet."

"Is that so?" Scorpa glanced Austri up and down at the mention of her heroics involving Lorata. Understanding immediately what they were both there for, she decided to be careful around the greenblood. Everyone wanted to impress Lorata but the two lowest bloods especially. Flydra probably had her own interests as well but Scorpa wasn't too worried about her. They had an arrangement now. Plus the tealblood needed to keep her at least semi-happy to keep her willing to be experimented. It didn't seem many other trolls were rushing to volunteer for it. Scorpa didn't understand why- Flydra had made some pretty cool offers of what they were going to try and do! What was life without a little danger on the way?

"Ooo, do mine too!" Brightening at the sight of the zapped robot, Scorpa thrusted her chained bot over to her friend after Austri. If they zapped the things continuously, what would happen? Curious but not really knowledgeable, she decided Flydra would know how to best handle it and left everything to her. She was sooo smart! Once all of the bots were rendered catatonic, the yellowblood shared a pleased grin.

"With that, let's eat!" Plucking another item from her bag, the yellowblood dropped a smaller bag of cookies and drinks on the table. Sure she'd invited herself over under the guise of wanting help with the baby bot but really all she wanted to do was hang out with her new friends! Being a lusus was no fun, she was going to enjoy being a troll!

What better way to do so than eat and gossip all day long?

And finished! Those poor bots, zapped into a state of endless sleep... That's one way to solve the problem, sirens!
