 Glykeria gathered the things she needed in the kitchen and made, double chocolate brownies, mint chocolate chip cupcakes and butterscotch chip cookies for the bake sale. Gly grinned as she carefully packaged each item for the bake sale for her son's school. Glykeria loved her kids to no end and she loved baking, so it was a double win, help out her kids school and get to have fun cooking. She then put everything in Tupperware containers and then put those into a basket. Gly then left the basket on the counter of her kitchen, then went to get ready to go to the bake sale. Once there Glykeria went to her assigned table and started setting out her treats to sell for the good of the school. Gly sat down in the chair behind the table, she sighed thinking, she had tried meeting someone new after starting a relationship with Taner had been a flop but no luck so far. She hoped she could at least find a friend working the bake sale, but she wasn't getting her hopes up this time around. After all, Gly had gone to just about every event the school hosted and still was a single mother.

 Setsi had gathered up a few things here and there, tossing them in her bag before throwing it over her shoulder. Even though her boy was close to graduating the academy -- to which she couldn't believe he was getting that big or that she was old enough to have a kid his age! -- she had happily volunteered to help out with different things today. She had the day off from work and no classes, so why not? Plus it would be a chance to see her favorite daughter in law to be. There wasn't a doubt in her mind that Hailey wouldn't miss the bake sale, and that was just one of many things she planned to help out with today. Making sure she had everything all together and set to go, she smiled, nodded, and closed the door behind her.
"Where is it...." the imp wondered to herself as she tried to find the bake sale table. It was bound to be close by... "Ahhah!" she exclaimed as she found where it was finally. It had been in such an obvious spot. How did she walk past it?!... especially with such a colorful woman manning the table. Adjusting the strap over her shoulder, she walked over. Funny thing was, as she did, here heart began to race a little bit. What was that about? Doing her best to brush it off as nerves about meeting someone new -- which was a bs thing to tell herself because she was a social butterfly -- she got to the front of the table and gave an off kilter smile. "Hi! I'm Setsi. Sorry I'm late!" but for some weird reason her words were a bit louder than she meant them to be. Ugh... how embarrassing.

Glykeria smiled at the others setting up for the bake sale, she hummed to herself as she set out her treats for sale. Happy to help out the school her sons attended. Gly smiled brightly when she saw the gorgeous imp walk up to her table and listened to her introduce herself. Glykeria held out her hand to Setsi and winked at her in her normal flirty manner. "Nice to meet you Setsi, I'm Glykeria. " Gly looked around at the others still putting things out to sell and she smiled again "No big." She said cheerfully "It's not like the sale has really started yet, I would totally cry if I was here alone all day." Glykeria said in a teasing manner, "I would hate to sit here selling treats alone, not to mention manning the table with someone so pretty is a major bonus. So all is forgiven." Gly said in a cheeky tone.

With the other woman's hand held out to her, Setsi had to readjust the pack again to make sure it didn't swing around and whack her! With a nervous giggle, she took the other's hand and shook it. "Oh wow. That's a different name~ Does it have a meaning?" Well that was a weird question. Setsi let her own hand slide from Glykeria's and she went ahead and set the duffle on the floor. "Man... Seems like there's a ten ton of good stuff here! I don't think what I brought is gonna compare." Another nervous laugh made it past her lips. She certainly was seeming to make a fool of herself here. Ah well. Glykeria was still cute and flirty! It couldn't be all bad~ That actually made the imp feel a bit more at ease. "So how'd a pretty lady like you end up behind the table of the bake sale?~" she asked as she began to unzip the duffle.

Glykeria smiled and waited for the woman to readjust so they could shake hands, Gly smiled at her question and her cheeks blushed a purple color. She felt kinda dorky telling this new person the meaning of her name, but oh well. She said with a little laugh. "It means sweet." Glykeria smiled and then asked "What about your name Setsi?? Does it have a meaning??" Glykeria shook her head and smiled. "I'm sure your stuff will be just fine." Gly said warmly. Glykeria smiled warmly and said. "I have two boys from a mixer fling, Chau and Heike. Chau lives with me and Heike lives with his dad Taner." Glykeria said looking down at her bake sale treats. It was never certain how someone would react when you told them you had kids and weren't with the person. Glykeria's dead in the water dating life might be a part of that, or maybe she had just been distracted lately. "So what about you how did you end up working the sale??"

Setsi couldn't help giving an amused giggle at the meaning of Gly's name. "That actually seems to fit you pretty well! Errr.. I hope that doesn't sound awkward, but you seem super sweet so far anyways." Setsi began to unload the goodies she brought with her on the table. A container of cookies, some blueberry muffins, and a special treat that was just a little something of her own making. She never knew what to call it, or how to really put it into words. All she knew is it was yummy!. "My name? You know... I don't honestly have a clue." she replied with a bit of a sheepish grin and chuckle. "Ahhah! That would explain it!" Setsi gave a warm smile as she came around the other side of the table to sit next to Gly. "I have a son, too! He's adopted, but he's my boy!" the imp announced proudly. "He's not so little anymore, but yeah. Heh. How old are your boys?" It didn't matter to her how Gly had her kids. She was here and showing her support, so that had to make her a good one! Or was Setsi's line of thinking, anyways.

Glykeria smiled brightly and winked "Works for me." Gly said with a cheeky look "I like you too Setsi." Glykeria said warmly. Gly stopped and smiled at some of the others demons, litches, imps, fey and others who came and bought treats at the bake sale, then as they were starting to run out of treats to sell. Glykeria turned back to Setsi and their conversation. Glykeria smiled and then said "I'm sure adopted or blood, your son means the world to you, I tried to adopt once, but my application wasn't chosen, if I did adopt or married someone and they had kids, they would be just as loved and special as my own children." Glykeria said softly she really loved kids. No matter how they happened to come into Gly's life. "My youngest son is a freshling in the academy and my oldest son is now a junior at the academy, he's studying art." Glykeria said proudly, she was very proud of everything that Chau was doing in school. As others came and bought the last of the treats Glykeria turned back to Setsi and asked. "Would you like to get coffee or something with me??" Gly gave Setsi a flirty smile, hoping that she would say yes.

Setsi's cheeks heated up some once again, and she reached up and scratched it lightly. Though as they talked some, it didn't take long for the treats to get bought up! Even the ones that she brought! That made her feel good about herself. The way Gly talked about kids made the imp feel super excited that someone else just totally got it! "I couldn't agree more! My Malachi couldn't be more my kid if I imbued his stone myself~" Though, truth of the matter is that the two neither looked or acted anything like the other! "Awww! I'd love to meet your kids sometime!... i hope that didn't sound weird! I just adore kids~ My boy is a senior now. It's so weird to say 'cause it doesn't seem like he should be old enough already!" she said with a laugh. And things just seemed to fly by, treats gone in no time! As she was picking up the plates that she brought, her attention turned to the other woman as she asked her for coffee. "Sure! That sounds great, Gly! I certainly could go for a caffeine IV!" Setsi finished packing up, zipping the duffle and standing. "Ready when you are!"

Glykeria smiled she was happy that the treats had been sold, and that she had met someone who loved kids as much as she did. It was much better than the casual mixer realtionship, she had had with Taner. Gly would never regret meeting Taner since she had her two boys to show for it, but it wasn't a real connection and that's what Glykeria wanted, someone she could talk to, someone who might want to share a life with her, not just imbue stones and share custody. Gly smiled "That's really great." She said warmly "Maybe we could do some sort of get together and Chau and Malachi could meet, I'm not sure about Heika, he's staying with his dad Taner this time of year." Gly nodded and then laughed "I'm sure when Chau is a senior I will still think of him as a kid, even if and when he has kids of his owe." Glykeria said warmly. Glykeria smiled and grabbed her bag and the money box to drop off with the school officials on their way out. "Ready when you are Setsi." Glykeria finished with a charming smile.

Wow! This bake sale was more than Setsi could have expected. Not only did they make money for the school, but she met someone that she got along with so well! She knew she'd at least be friends with Gly, but maybe there was even the chance for more! Who knows! She'd certainly have the chance to learn a little more while they are out for coffee! "Oh! Maybe~ Malachi and his girlfriend have been so busy lately that I've barely seen the two of them. They're just about attached at the hip, I swear!" she said with a laugh. "Have been ever since I've known them both." With duffle all packed and slung over her shoulder, she smiled then started heading for the doors. "Let's go, pokey~"
