What was your first anime?

i'm gonna say it might have either been Sailor Moon or maybe Voltron or Speed Racer. Maybe even Astro Boy. Any anime that made up Saturday morning cartoons in the early 90s really. It's been like 20 years. is that giving away my age??

Dragon Ball Z and Gundam Wing around 1995 haha. Then Inuyasha and Sailor Moon. BACK IN MY DAY! We used to record Dragon Ball Z on VHS tapes so that we didn't miss that week's episode!

Ren Solo i'm gonna say it might have either been Sailor Moon or maybe Voltron or Speed Racer. Maybe even Astro Boy. Any anime that made up Saturday morning cartoons in the early 90s really. It's been like 20 years. is that giving away my age??AH! I forgot about Speed Racer! haha oh man, you wanna talk about old! I'm now getting annoyed with the newest generation and saying the exact same things my parents said to me "What are you saying... that's a made up language... speak English!" "What the hell are you listening to? That's not music!" "What are you wearing? It looks ridiculous!" cat_crying age... ugh aging.....

The style in anime has changed so drastically. For a long time- i think up into my teens, i didn't even know Speed Racer was an anime. The style wasn't like current(then 90s) anime. I'm like that with current anime. It all looks the same to me. I can't remember the last time I really enjoyed a new anime. I try watching some of the more popular stuff I see on tumblr, and i'm like how are you watching this??? but at the same time I used to watch anime about freaking card games, so where do I get off, lolol. I'll take recommendations though, because rn anime is all the same to me. I feel like my dad. rofl sweatdrop i'm definitely like that now, especially with that emoji short hand. someone sent me a string of emoji and i just was like i'm not responding to this. I don't know wtf that is suppose to be conveying to me. speak words. hahaha

I try going back and watching the classics and totally ruin my own childhood cause the story and art are soooooo baaaaaaad. Turns from a "When I was a kid, we watched REAL shows, none of this crap you kids are watching now" to a "Oh dear god, I used to watch this?!? I loved this! why did I love THIS!?!?!?!" What genre are you into? I'll see if I can think of any you might like. Also..... I don't even know what "emoji short hand" is XD ugh, I'm at the age now, that I just stopped trying to figure out what people are into

FMA, my senior year of High School way back in 2005
Then InuYasha, Kenshin, and Chrono Crusade my freshman year of College.

My first anime was Death Note. A classmate got me into it. I finished the first season, but forgot about it until just now. So, thank you for reminding me about it.
