Soccer - Everest lives soccer, he's been playing since he was 5 and had wanted to be a soccer player until he found out interpreter was a job possibility. Everest can often be found on the soccer field, he says he thinks best on the move. After studying he run plays on the field and just dribble a bit, but in his head he's going over what he's studied trying to make it stick. Dribbling is something of a mnemonic device for him. He plays for the school team and plays in the park during school breaks.
Languages/cultures - Everest currently speaks three languages, English, French and Japanese. He is attempting to learn a 4th language and hopes to one day master it and maybe another. His household can get very confusing at time especially when his dad and stepdad are both in the same place. Having three languages thrown about can get crazy but Everest loves it. He loves that because he has a French dad and a Japanese step dad, hes got so much culture around him. It has really inspired him to learn more about other parts of the world, their history and their daily goings on. He wants to be an interpreter, though he hopes it can be in more than just French and Japanese. He wants to travel more and just immerse himself somewhere one day, get the full experience. College abroad is definitely at the top of his bucket list.
Virtues:
Laid Back - Everest is fairly chill. He’s not easily stressed out and very much rolls with the punches life throws at him. He isn't quick to anger, nor is he particularly rash. His life has been a whirlwind, but everything seems to work itself out so he doesn't let himself get overly worried.
Open minded - Everest is pretty open minded. He was raised in a multicultural and multilingual household, and he loves to learn. New idea to him is like a breath of life. He's always willing to learn something new and look at things from some else's point of view. It the type of thinking that will change the world. It doesn't mean he will like and embrace everything he learns, but he is all for exposure and the learning experience and worldliness it brings with it.
Intelligent - Everest has always been natural bright. With a love for learning and an excellent memory, he picks up on things easy and is able to apply what he learns in life. He never going to stop exploring and expanding his mind. He will read, debate, research and experiment because that best way he's found to understand this world we live in and engage with it any others.
Flaws:
Snake - Your secrets aren't really safe with Everest, not to say he running about telling everything one tells him, its more he more keen to see how thing play out and less keen on keep others out of trouble. His sister often tries to get away with things she knows she isn't supposed to be doing and has learned she can't count her brother to bail her out or be her alibi.
Vindictive - Despite being laid back, much like his sister he doesn't take kindly to what he considers personal slights against himself or people he really cares about. His friend once called his sister a big for something he said and while he agreed she was out of line he gave his friend a warning while thinking about ways to make him pay. He and his sister have been referred to as the twisted siblings by their friends.
Know it all: Everest is always into everything, learning and expanding his knowledge so if it's a topic he knows about he likely to put his two sense in even when its not wanted. He is considered a teachers pet because he's always ready with an answer in class, is always first to turn is homework in and it quick to complain if his grade isn't to his liking. No one wants him as the person helping them with a rough draft, unless you are desperate for a grade.
